I spent $ 100 on their advertised full-body ultrasound special. The staff was friendly. One of the two technicians told me that he is a student, not yet licensed. They gave me a report saying there is «possible calcification» on this, «possible nodule» on that,. together with a print-out of some images of the«possible» problems. Th report was unsigned. My family doctor frowned on it when I gave the report to him. He said the normal practice is that a licensed radiologist(not a technician) would interpret the findings and sign on it, and the use of «possible» is irresponsible. P. S. They do not require a doctor’s prescription to do the ultrasound; many places do. And one place asked for $ 130 to do the adominal ultrasound alone; well, perhaps its finding would be reviewed by a radiologist.
