I would have given it less stars if possible. The most rude group of people I have ever bumped into in my life.
What a bunch of pathetic losers.

I have found Dr. Daniels to be thorough, thoughtful and most importantly… HELPFUL! If you are stuck, problems prohibiting using your insurance; this is a terrific alternative! If you are currently insured, they accept all major forms. Dr. Daniels (who still lectures regularly) takes a personal interest in and keeps a mindful eye on his returning patients and their progress. The desk staff is quiet, but sincerely nice! Always making sure I have my parking validated and everything went well. Five stars!

This place is pathetic. I am tempted to contact the DEA through their tip line because I suspect this place to be a shady/​corrupt fly-​by-​night operation. The doctor was very judgmental. I made an appointment at the discretion of my doctor who suggested that I see a pain management doctor. The staff at the front desk was friendly enough but they doctor was very rude. He discussed my PRIVATE medical records in front of a waiting patient and his staff, I felt really embarrassed trying to tell him about my ailments. Ultimately he made me feel like a drug addict. I have never felt so judged by a doctor. I ended up driving 30 minutes which flared up my back pain only to have to drive another 30 minutes back home in even more pain. Thanks a lot. Remember your Hippocratic oath doctor? First do no harm.

This is the worst medical office I’ve ever had to deal with in my life, and I have been to hospitals in northern Siberia. We paid a large fee so my wife could get a physical and some blood tests — we did that because we were leaving LA for a new job in a new country. We asked them to fax the documents or scan and email them, as the move didn’t allow time to drive down to Koreatown to pick up the results. They assured us that would be no problem. A week later and after at least a dozen calls we still didn’t have the results. When I followed up over the last couple days before the move they told me they had also just moved and didn’t have a working fax or scanner. When I asked if they could step out to kinko’s to fax it the response was, word for word, «they don’t pay me for that.» Well, guess what? I did pay you for that, not my fault your stuff doesn’t work. I left a couple messages for the boss because I was told he was the only one who could make any decisions there, apparently he knows how to use the phone about as well as his staff understand what customer service means, although it might have been difficult for him given the fact that he apparently never comes to office, wasn’t there at 10am or 3pm or any other time I called. Don’t go to this place, avoid it at all costs.
To be very fair, after all of this, they did manage to research how to lick a stamp and put the papers in the mail to our new address, where we’ll be getting them two weeks after we actually needed the results.

I dont know what the heck many of these other reviewers were expecting. One should understand that a clinic on the second floor of a korean mini mall isn’t going to be equivalent to say, Cedar Sinai’s Med Center.
Service was fast and effective. Come here for vaccinations, tests, or physicals, that’s it. Make sure that you know what you’re getting into though, a simple shot or test may include a surprise general exam that lasts so short that you didn’t even know that it took place, literally 20 seconds, and this will cost you an additional sixty bucks, that’s how they got me. Otherwise I would have given this place another star.
The clinic is basically a money milker from the uninsured. I’m currently studying out of state and don’t have california coverage, hence I googled and dropped by. The other patients were from what I could tell in the same situation, it seemed as though most of them needed some kind of proof or paperwork. But going here can be mutually beneficial, it’s fast, you can get whatever documentation you need. Honestly it feels like a fast food doctor’s visit.

So I was here about a month ago and overall my experience was ok, I needed a quick appointment on a Saturday for my daughters school physical because I work all week and I came across this place, the wait time was very reasonable seeing as I was a walk-​in… The front staff lacked customer service and I felt like the girl at the front really didn’t want to be there on a Saturday but hey the Doctor was a nice female that made my 3year old feel very comfortable even though I could tell they are not used to seeing children the only other complaint I had was that I couldn’t use my credit card to pay (this is 2011 right) so they asked that I use the atm in the lobby which charged me the associated extra fees of course and then they didn’t have change so I had to wait for an employee to run downstairs to get it. Overall though the price was reasonable, parking was free, I got the physical without an appt & they have nice shopping & a starbucks like café on the way out!

If you’re just going here for something simple like a TB test or physical, and you need it cheap/​quick, then MAYBE I’d recommend here. Otherwise, take heed of the other warning reviews on here. This place is just not very professional. Their customer service is almost totally lacking. The front desk people don’t seem to know/​care much about what they’re doing. They don’t call you back when they say they will, they don’t seem very inclined to want to help you, etc. They probably just realize the place sucks and they’ve lost all motivation to work there. But that’s still not a great excuse for their customer interaction skills.
For some reason they only accept cash, but at least now there’s an ATM in their office. How convenient. Dr. Daniels was fine; my complaint is more with the front desk and just how the place is run. I gave them paperwork that I needed to join a prescription drug program direct from the pharm companies. Their manager apparently started to fill it out and then decided it wanted information they didn’t want to reveal. Shady… so I wasted time and effort and now have to get new documents to go somewhere that actually wants to help me.
You get what you pay for in this case. Find somewhere better. If you have to rely on them for anything, you’ll probably be disappointed.

Great place to get a quick TB Test! Walk-​ins are welcome and its only $ 30!

The receptionist (not sure what her official title is) is SO nice and helpful. I’ve seen her after closing still help people. I went initially for a bladder infection or something random and it was a great experience. The physician assistant is super cool. He actually spends a lot of time explaining everything and answering questions. Overall this clinic is within my budget especially now that I m out of insurance and clean. I will definitely go back to this clinic.
Note: I do have medical insurance, and the copay is the same as a physician visit, so definitely much less expensive than having to go to the hospital. The cost was $ 70 for the visit and medication NOT prescription.

Doctor seemed pretty nice. Nurese weren’t nice or friendly but they weren’t rude. You COULD get in and out pretty fast if doctor, receptionist, and nurses commnicated better with the patients and if they took credit/​debit cards. Doctor told me he would get back to me with the price on extra exams but he never did and nurses tried to draw blood from me. They only take cash and they failed to tell me that when I made the appointment. They have atm in there, however, it was broken so I had to go by the bank and come back. Good thing I took out extra or I would have had to go back to the bank because I was expecting to pay $ 40 for the consultation but total eneded up being more for the medication. Would I go back? Probably not.

Well so far Im giving them a three star rating because they move the line fast and are good for giving you a whole week off work if thats what you feel you need, in my case because I pulled my muscle and I have two slipped discs. I joked to myself if that would give me enough time for a quickie vacation in tanzania or cabo but I knew it would mean a staycation in p-​town. Either way, my excellent senses sensed that the p.a. (which stands for physicians assistant) seems to be guilty about something, and I assume the fact that he is not as qualified as you would think a pa should be is the reason for his shifty eyed and nervous demeanor. lol
They accept only cash there which makes me wonder if this place is totally corrupt and will not even be here in 5 yrs. — perhaps a fly by night organization holed up in an old building on Wilshire off of Vermont.
If you call the main number which is printed here on Unilocal,you get the actual doctor answering the phone, sounding very calm and decidedly foreign. He will direct you to a 427 number to speak to the reception/​nurse staff because the number listed here is the wrong number to inquire on mundane matters and FAQ’s.
Even though they are good for notes for work I would have to say I would NEVER go here for anything serious, to be diagnosed, have bloodwork done, or even to leave samples, or what not. I would only trust them as far as I could throw them and if I tried to throw anyone there my back would probably go out again and then Id need another note for work again. lmao.
I can totally understand why everyone is unhappy with them, but I have insurance and I only go here when my own primary care doctor is not available. Having an excellent doctor gives me the insight to see what a pile of crap this place is. I have been here about 3 or 4 times in the last year. and I must say it does produce a nice looking crop of «patient» people, Something I never see at urgent cares in my town or at my doctors facilities. I always see insuranced slobs at my place who wander in looking like they thought the building was a cheese line.
The people that go here go here for a variety of reasons and they TEND to be nice looking, some are well dressed and actually speak the English language. Of course there is the oddity thrown in. Such as one time when I was there a woman had heard her results «of the test» and was openly weeping in the tiny clinic for all to witness. The same day this weird white woman from the middle east who looked american was challenging a softig man about religion. She looked very tense and zealous. I looked on, calmly.
The last time I went there I heard a small child screaming wildly because she was being given a shot, I wondered if they were killing her. Of course you can hear it because the entire office is probably around 500 square feet.
Also last time I sat across a reformed tattoo drenched gang banger who was talking about how he had been in gangs all his life and had only recently left. I shifted in my chair uncomfortably, hoping I wouldnt get shot. I was just there for a note! He was talking to an affable and very intelligent sounding guy who was clearly wiccan (he has the pointed up pentacle tattooed on his arm) who had him engaged the ex misguided banger into conversation. There was also a dude type with backpack and skateboard in tow.
I must say the people are interesting to look at but then thats because the magazines are in Chinese or plainly boring. I could write a few stories sitting there. The first time I went there I told the PA that the line moved fast. a thinly veiled accusation that he ran a fly by night –shit on a shingle– establishment. He replied «I hate waiting, so I dont like my patients to either». I nodded, but I silently wondered if he had a degree or was he really a country dr’s horse’s ass veterinarian assistant.
The lilth asian reception boy is very kind and always puts my note into an envelope. Something they never do at healthcare partners where their crack staff of 20 illiterate female hispanics are always talking about you in Spanish, thinking you dont understand other languages. (but my doctor himself, is good)
The «nurse» is not a nurse. as someone else had written. She is a medical assistant! Do you honestly think she would be working there for, no doubt, peanuts, if she were a nurse and could make 30/​hour? Lmao! No, she’s a medical assistant. You know, the ones they churn out at those makeshift «colleges» that are advertised on afternoon tv as the place to go to change your career and «be somebody». Followed by some illiterate smiling into the camera and boldly stating if their broken down, drug partaking, misspelling, don’t know who the baby daddy is, ASS can get a career, YOU CAN TOO!!!
All in all they have a nice flat screen tv, cold water, and I would never go here for anything but a note.
If you want better care and you dont have insurance, go to the county hospital!

I came into this place hoping to get an ear/​sinus infection treated. The clinic is located inside a very sketchy, dark building (which in retrospect, must have been a warning!). The receptionist was eating a pastry and seemed very unprofessional. Unbeknownst to me, she ended up being my NURSE! She tried to irrigate my ears with water, but failed miserably (spilled water on me the whole time due to her carelessness and lack of skill and I got extremely dizzy from so many attempts), to the point where she gave up and her and the doctor decided «Oh well!». I could tell she was doing it all wrong because I’ve had my ear irrigated before, but what could I do? I finally got my antibiotics and when I went to pay for my bill, I noticed that they had charged me a hefty amount for EACH ear that was irrigated, which is ridiculous because it was a failed attempt and didn’t help me! But, they charged me because it’s still «labor» that they had performed on me. Whatever. I was scammed.

We had lab work done on a Friday and got the results on a Tuesday. They conveniently emailed the lab report to us but did a poor job interpreting the results. We just figured it out online. While they could be more organized and communicate a bit more effectively, I did get the sense they were doing their jobs to the best of their ability. I like that they post the prices right on their website and you know to the penny what the cost is before walking in the door. The prices are very reasonable. Parking is validated. It was clean.
I could be wrong but I don’t think this place is staffed with seasoned medical professionals. If you need lab work done quickly and cheaply, this is the place.

This is hands down the most annoying experience I’ve ever had with a medical clinic /​doctor /​anybody who gets to put needles in me (which might not be the case if I had been a junkie, but alas, that never came to pass).
Made an appointment, which seemed pointless because I had to wait for almost two hours after my appointment time regardless. Fine, I tell myself, it’s a cheap clinic, learn to deal with some less than optimal execution. Finally, I see the doc. He was a nice guy, but didn’t seem to really take any real time to listen to what I was asking him about. Just some generic answers. Then off to get a blood /​urine test.
The nurse who took my blood was super nice, definitely the high point of the trip. Didn’t hurt a bit either. They told me they’d call me within a few days with results.
One week passes. I call. «Um, call next week.» The guy on the phone sounds like he has absolutely no idea what his job description asks of him. OK, fine, call next week. Did that. «Um, still waiting from the lab. Call next week.» Seriously? May want to revise your three day get back to your patients policy. OK, fine, call next week. Did that. «Um, call next week.» Now I’m pissed off, but what to do? I can’t analyse my own damn samples. Give them some frustration over the phone. They don’t seem to relate. Fine, call next week. Did that. «Um, I’m sorry, but we lost your urine and blood samples.»
OK, screw this shit. I asked them to refund me my money so I could go to another clinic. They said they’d pop a check in the mail the following day for the full amount. I don’t know why I actually believed them given their track record so far. Sure enough, never got the check. Called. Same annoying receptionist guy who apparently doesn’t have the authority to do anything other than answer the phone and tell you to call later. I did, spoke to the finance woman. She said she’s sorry, would pop a check in the mail tomorrow. Riiight. Got back from a trip to Mexico after nine days. No check.
Needless to say, this place has been a total waste of my time and money. I get that it’s affordable. What’s the point if the services aren’t rendered? Just called them again ten minutes ago. Same dude. «Call after eleven, speak to the manager.» Fine, fuck it, I’ll play your game you rogue. But between now and eleven, some venting is going down. Hence, this.
If they can straighten this idiocy out, I’ll update this review. Until then, avoid this place like the plague, which, coincidentally, is something they wouldn’t be able to diagnose you with having because they’d be too busy telling you to call back later whilst losing the samples they need to get the job done.

The medical staff there was very friendly and helpful. Since I don’t have insurance, I went to Allied and was provided with excellent care. The facility was clean and well organized. The price was also very affordable since I don’t have any coverage and I would definitely go back for all my health needs.

They should remove «Allied» from their name because they are definitely not on your side. The one thing this clinic seems to have going for them is that they are cheap. Their doctor has absolutely no people skills; he just wants your $ 40 – 100 for the physical + drug screening… and for you to scram. Their doctor and staff are curt, do not provide answers, and lack listening skills. Warning: the rest of this review is a rant.
In my experience, they went out of their way to make the visit difficult. I came with no ailments; I simply needed a doctor’s letter for a study abroad program that stated that I am 1.) drug free 2.) free of infectious disease.
I was very specific about exactly what the letter needed to say, and they alluded (because they give no straight answers) that they would provide me with what I needed. A week and 5 – 10 calls/​emails after my visit, my letter arrived in the mail on regular paper, with grammatical errors, omissions from the original copy, and looking like something I could have printed out at home and scribbled myself.
Because I didn’t have a form (just the specific copy for the letter, which had I emailed and asked about in advance), the doctor went ballistic. He kept going on about how «they should have a form» and how he couldn’t provide a Spanish translation (even though I had given him one) because «English is an international language.» Thanks buddy, if the Spanish consulate doesn’t have a form, there’s nothing I can do about it, and it’s probably going to brush their ego a bit to hear that my doctor thinks the translation is unnecessary.
The doctor was also paranoid about the copy for my letter (again, provided by the Spanish government), because it required him to say that I was free of smallpox/​SARS/​serious diseases that don’t really exist in the U.S.; the fact that I was walking around like a normal person (and not coughing/​puking/​pooping/​scratching my brains out) wasn’t proof enough. It seemed like he was afraid that I secretly had Ebola, and that the Spanish government (or whatever Big Brother he envisioned) would later pin it on him.
