We all need to start thinking green, but it doesn’t have to be a chore. A cool place to visit for inspiration is a small boutique in Woodland Hills called All Green Things. They have a wide assortment of products made from recycled goods as well as merchandise to help you recycle yourself. Everything is «eco-friendly». Not able to get there in person? There is also a well designed WEB site. I highly recommend All Green Things. They have great products, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff.

Just visited this local store that I had driven by for months and I was glad I stopped in. The friendly owner Tanya Peel helped us pick out some reusable shopping bags. It’s a little store filled with eco-friendly products that has a lot of interesting items.

Found this cute little boutique store, because I attended a get together for Green Drinks, an organization for folks interested in promoting a green lifestyle. Tanya Peel, the owner, has such a wonderful shop. Take a look at reusable shopping bags(like the ones I found in New Zealand when I was there), recycled jewelry(what a concept), natural soaps, and dog treats I was thinking about trying myself. The have an online tool that can guide you to decreasing your carbon footprint as well.

I can’t believe there have only been two reviews for this place! I learned about All Green Things because the owner hosts a monthly networking event called«Green Drinks,» which occurs all around the world. While I was mingling, I got a chance to look at the products. Although the space is tiny, this could be your one-stop shop for all things green, thus the name! I mean you have your natural cleaning supplies to room décor to jewelry. What’s even better, is that the costs of all the products are pretty reasonable. The owner manufactures some, or all I’m not sure, items herself so you know what you’re getting will be very very green. Tanya, the owner, is beyond nice too! They say things built with love are the best and how true that rings when you know all her products are sold with her good intentions of helping the environment. I like the fact that the store is local, because when you want to start going green there are so many ways to go about it that it gets a little overwhelming. The fact that it’s local is also great because you don’t have to worry about the shipping and handling costs or the carbon emissions that result from that. Please support this store and this one lady’s mission! This is the perfect place to go if you are thinking about purchasing eco-friendly gifts or items that you might even want for yourself. Or better yet, come to the next Green Drinks event, held every 3rd Wednesday of the month, because there might be a free giveaway next time! I wish I could give this store more stars because everything about this place is great based on what is sold, the service, their generosity, the parking, the proximity to the freeway, the prices, and so much more! It was a comfortable venue to meet like-minded people and promote green products and business as well.

In this small space in the West Valley is crammed many a great green thing that can be used in every aspect of your daily life. If you have kids, pets, cleaning needs, or just want to look fashionable and green this is a great place to start. Want to break the plastic habit? You should, and you can get cute reusable totes of many kinds, lunch bags, pet waste bag holders and more. They have jewelry, bamboo utensils, soy candles, Klean Kanteens, soap, lighting and anything else you might need to live a greener lifestyle. They also accept used cell phones and ink cartridges for recycling. I am really excited to see a green supply store in the valley, no more trecks to the Westside for supplies. Stay tuned for more green developments at the store including workshops and talks. And don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions, as the owner Tanya is more than happy to help you out.
