5 minutes before closing, they did not want to let us in because your employee said it was closed. On your door has the time of closing schedule of 10pm not 9:55pm. On our way out, the African American(security) said in her exact words«Bitch go home». Which I call very unprofessional and very disrespectful. I’m very upset I couldn’t do anything about this but I hope you guys take this complaint very serious.

It is what it is. The 99c Store. As far as the employees there, no one really tries to help, cashiers rarely speak to you or make any kind of eye contact. If you go on the weekend, in the evenings, there are all kinds of vendors outside and people panhandling in front of the entrance. The parking lot is super small. I don’t expect much from this company as far as customer service goes.

Definitely my favorite 99 Cent Only Store in LA. They’re located conveniently close to my apartment in Boyle Heights and almost always have the items/groceries I need. This location is always well stocked and somehow always remains clean and organized as busy as they are. If you’re looking for a dollar store equivalent in or around Boyle Heights, this is the place to go!

I like this 99 more than others I’ve been to because they always have the stuff I need. I love getting the coffee here– I can get 5 jars of Nescafe to fill up an $ 8 jar of the same coffee that I got from the regular market. I also love the gummy bears and almonds they sell here. Beats the market for a quick snack! The employees are really nice. Vicky and Richard have been working here for a long time, and they know us are regular customers. Very kind, friendly employees.
