Marg pizza wasn’t great. Meatballs were ok. Overall, I thought it as just average, or slightly below.

Lol this place is to be avoided at all times! you’re seriously better off going to the pasta market next door. Seriously. I’m writing this because I’ve had many bad experiences here, the service isn’t great and the food is okay. Come here if you don’t care about customer service, also if you want to pay higher prices and long wait times. after waiting 40 minutes for our food, we decided to leave because it wasn’t worth the wait, especially because they never checked in on us. as we approach our car by Teaspoon, the owner and the bitchy waitress chased us down and told us that we are stealing and that the police were on the way. I even forgot about the coffee and chocolate milk that we had ordered. We gave her the $ 10 which was plenty and they screamed at us telling us to never come back. Of course not. Never ever ever. Why wait 40+ minutes, it’s not like they were busy. There was literally two other people in the restaurant. And one other person was complaining too. Lol. DONTCOMEHERE!!!

The pizza here is good. We’ve had the caramelized pear pizza, four cheese pizza, brie and chicken pizza, and a couple others. All good. They serve breakfast now. We like to order breakfast to go from here on the weekends. Everything is good.

I am reviewing on behalf of my colleagues! They really like Oregano’s! Great taste, great portions, and it was a very popular one among the 4 restaurants offered for that day of catering! I liked the presentation of the food, in the sense that it was clean and easy for me to distribute. Pizzas were not the #1 hit either, so it’s something to say about the overall quality of their menu. We are definitely fans!

This is my ABSOLUTEFAVORITE Italian Restaurant in the entire Bay Area. This is the place to be! The friendly owner, Keyvan, is the nicest business man I have ever met. Keyvan has never changed the pizza recipes and I couldn’t be happier. Open since 1996, I have been dining here a little girl and throughout my adolescence and through my young adult life, and I simply cannot stay away. The pizzas are always fresh and flavored to perfection. My father is from Rome, Italy and knows what good, homemade, Italian food really tastes like. Keyvan is an exceptional business owner and runs a very successful business. Oregano’s is the best neighborhood pizza place there is. It is always clean and has an abundance of seating arrangements – great for parties. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Italian pizza and pasta, come and dine here – trust me.

I had the most unpleasant encounter with the Middle Eastern lady owner there and pretty much won’t be coming back for the rest of my life. Serious. She was extremely rude and condescending when I came to her to address an issue I had with an order I’ve made over the phone. The issue was rather trivial but I still needed it straighten out so I did and she was dismissive in her tone and just basically has a barrier with the English language, but the things that she did manage to say was telling enough in how much she respects her patrons. It gotten so bad when we argued that she ended up telling me «Get out!» And I gladly did after I threw a shoe at her! Lmao! Kidding about the shoe… Maybe in a separate universe I did throw it at her… who knows? VERDICT: Food: 1 star Service: negative 5 star Cleanliness: 5 star ’cause the place is always empty… Geez, I wonder why…

As a pizza lover, I have high, but broad, expectations. I realize not every pizza place is going to be on the level of New Haven style pizza, but I think if you’re advertising wood-fired pizza you better have noteworthy pizza. Anyway, we went here recently on a Saturday night and there were about only four groups of people in the restaurant. The space was very large with upstairs(more on that later) space and some tables outdoors. We started with a side salad which was ok. The pizza they have on offer here is one size only; which I think is a big mistake – it increases the cost for the consumer and kind of spoils the spirit of grabbing, and sharing, a pizza with friends. The pizza itself was alright; crust was a bit too thick but the sauce was good. The price was about 11 bucks for a personal size(6 micro pieces). Yes, it was sprinkled with dry oregano. I wanted to try the calzone too since it’s been a while since I’ve had one. Wow, the calzone was pretty disappointing. It is like when you go to your crazy aunt’s house and she is has cooked something fearful all day long; she kinda makes you eat it and you grin your way through it just to be nice. That’s what eating a calzone here is like. I ordered the meat calzone at 11.89; it advertised Canadian bacon and when I cut into it I saw Oscar-Meyer quality ham that tasted pretty bad. I removed it and ate the cheese and pepperoni. You can see from the pic, the calzone was watery. I asked for a side of sauce to make it better. One big mistake in the calzone was the lack of ricotta. Very bad. I lived near this place for a long time but I see no reason to return when there are so many other awesome pizza options around. I figured out why Oregano’s is usually empty. As a note, I didn’t try the pasta dishes so those might be amazing; however, the place is usually pretty empty and I’d likely go next door to the Pasta Market which I love. I wanted to mention the upstairs because that’s where the bathrooms are. The walk up the stairs is pretty steep – so, if you’re an older person or have some physical disabilities you’re out of luck. I hope they improve on their pizza but I should’ve known better after seeing a fairly empty restaurant on a Saturday night.

We really love this place. My husband and I go almost every month there. I looooove the bread that they give you before you order. This place is a mom a pop restaurant, which i live because we try to support small local business. My husband loves the sandwiches, I enjoy the pasta. We have try the pizza and it is delicious. We always find parking there, so that is not an issue. If you have the chance go ahead and try it. We have never get any disappointed experience.

I used to come here quite a bit. Nowadays, there couldn’t be a place more out of the way for me personally. But I’m addicted to their Tequila-Line Chix Fettuccine! Always… Yummm!

Our family friends introduced us to this place! On a Friday night, not crowded at all. There’s a friendly vibe here. The owner, Kevyn, will walk around and greet his customers. He’s really funny! The food is great. Every meal comes with a plate of bread and butter, the bread is soft and moist — I think it might be the dough they use to make pizzas with. I got the mushroom and sausage pizza, it was good. It’s a personal size for around $ 13. Thin/medium ish crust with a decent amount of toppings, a little oil would drip off the slices though. Our friends got other dishes, so here our my comments on those… The spaghetti with meat sauce looked good, they use sausage as meat.(highly recommended by our family friend). The chicken parmesan portion was huge with 2 thin pieces of chicken. The lasagna was made with sausage and the noodle thickness looked good! Recommend the food and you should meet Kevyn!

Like this place. Ingredients are good, not many people inside and pizza crust is close to what I like. This is less American and more Italian place.

Used to be a good place to eat but has gone down in quality. Food is average, toilets are dirty, waiters are inexperienced, and they run out of bread bites before meals. Run down mom and pop version of CPK. They can do better.

Wow don’t know where to start. Ordered water yes water good old fashion H2o, that was horrible so I ordered a coke that was flat. Then the calamari came I think if I used it for bait even the fish wouldn’t eat it. Didn’t wait for our pizza or penne pasta it was time to go. Oh and she charged me for the coke. Stay away.

We had a group dinner here and we’re very disappointed with the service. We had about 30 people and sat upstairs. Only 1 guy to take our order and serve us. Poor guy. He had to go up and down the stairs multiple times just to bring our food. It took close to an hour to bring out basic pasta dishes. Not the guys fault. Where was management to help him out? Food was okay — mediocre at best — but definitely not worth the wait. Ironic thing — there’s another pasta place just next door that had many more clientele. And probably better service.

So I decided to give Oregano’s two stars with the benefit of the doubt that the food may be better in person than it is from delivery. While never having stepped foot in Oregano’s I’m not sure I have any plans to do so in the near or distant future. I receives my order through DoorDash, looking forward to some yummy pizza at home. How sadly disappointed I was. I ordered bruschetta as an appetizer. I define bruschetta as thick cut, deliciously prepared Italian or French bread with a heavy emphasis on fresh diced tomato. What I actually got from Oregano’s looked like plain pizza dough and some sort of pesto tomato chunk concoction which was much more pesto than tomato. I am happy the restaurant at least honored my request for the bruschetta topping to be put on the side of the bread, otherwise it would have been completely soaked through by the time it arrived. I also ordered a small goat cheese and sun dried tomato pizza. It was littered with so many unnecessary and unflavored toppings I ended up scraping them all off to eat a sad piece of cheesy, doughy pizza bread. Not exactly the satisfying dinner I had in mind.

Pizza was sadly disappointing. Weak on flavor and dough didn’t taste good. I come from east coast and was expecting a bit better and definitely had much better pizza in the area

This was My first and last time eating here. Place was huge but no customers. Hubby wanted to stay so we did. Our table was dirty. It looked like someone used my napkin. When the server brought out my plate there was crud on it. Hubby ordered rootbeer but we were told they were out of it. The buscetta was nasty. The tomatoes tasted old. As for the pizza it was just okay. I was not that hungry so I told hubby we could share a pizza. Apparently if you share you get charged $ 4.00. Wow talk about bad business. The server never checked on us. I never got a refill on my soda. Also I had to get up and find the server for a to go box. Lessened learned if a restaurant is empty there is a reason. Gee didn’t I learn anything from restaurant impossible.

The only reason I can’t give this place five starts is because of the atmosphere. It’s a big place and it’s usually pretty quiet, and though it’s not bad, it’s just a bit boring. I never have a problem ordering take out because I know I won’t be missing much at the restaurant. Several time return customer, service is always wonderful. Everyone is kind and accommodating. I enjoy their pizza, pasta, calzones, and dessert choices. Highly recommend for a casual take out night!

Pizza and pasta place that doesn’t know how to make pizza. I was attracted by their listing of a jambalaya pizza. The veggie mix of tomatoes etc. was certainly the kind you’d expect in a jambalaya-over-pasta mix(which they also have o the menu), but the sausage that was supposed to be in there was so minuscule that I ate half the pizza before I was sure there was in there any at all. Otherwise it was just a chicken pizza with an overdollop of spicy tomato sauce. And not a very good one. Horribly undercooked, with a doughy crust.
