Post-​operative hyperbaric treatment, and specifically Bay Area Hyperbarics, were suggested by my wife’s surgeon to reduce edema (swelling). Clinical studies have shown that increasing the amount of oxygen in the bloodstream is effective in doing so. Although the facility is closed on weekends, they agreed to provide treatment on a Saturday following surgery the day before. This respect for patient carried through to the actual treatment, which was caring and professional (thank you David).

Beautiful, clean office with really nice, knowledgeable technicians and short wait time. They deal with the insurance matters and told me upfront with the cost would be for the appointment without coverage. The clinic manager, Lisa, answered all my questions and was able to provide suggestions for other resources to complete my circle of care. After seeing other hyperbaric clinics i found bay area hyperbarics a breath of fresh oxygen!
