This is a hidden gem in the Bay Area ! Me and my partner both came and did body wraps by Song. She did a amazing job. Song was so nice and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this place for all your spa needs! Not only do they do body wraps but they do many other different spa treatments. 5 stars for sure ! Can’t wait to come back soon to get my facial at Bay Area Health spa.

Song is wonderful. Maintaining my health is an important priority for me. I happened to discover her spa when I used a Groupon certificate. Colonic irrigations are a regularly part of my health regimen. After seeing Song once, I will be seeing her regularly for this. Song is knowledgeable and to me, her nursing background makes her a legitimate resource of information. If you are starting out, I highly recommend you follow her advice to do two to three treatments as prescribed. During the procedure, she massages the abdominal area intensely to thoroughly cleanse the colon. After the first visit, I felt better than I did before and wondered why I needed to return for a second one a few days later. But I trusted Song’s advice and returned a few days later. What a difference after the second treatment., I felt wonderful, rejuvenated and energetic. You need a second or third treatment to get the fullest rewards from colonic irrigation. The other beneficial side effect Song told me to be ready for was the deep, restful sleep I would experience later that night. She was so right! I have never had such deep, restful, rejuvenating REM. If this is something you have thought about, you really need to go to an expert, preferably one with a medical background. Follow her advice regarding protocol. Song’s advice is based on her medical knowledge, interest in giving her clients maximum health benefit, and clear passion about the health. Her primary motivation is to help you get the best benefits from her treatments. I also want to mention that her bedside manner is comforting, personable, and warm. I highly encourage you to schedule your visits with her and trust her. She will take care of you!

I had been to many spas for facial and body treatments. Every treatment that Song provides, is absolutely proven and well worth every cent. Very small, personal service that is full of warmth and dedication. Absolutely recommend.

This place is amazing and it is all because of Song! I come here for a body wrap every summer before vacation, and it never disappoints! Song is great, easy to talk to, and is very knowledgable healthwise as she used to be a nurse. Now, I know you can get cheaper body wraps everywhere else, but trust me, they don’t work! I went in hoping for great results. I got to sit in the sauna for half an hour before my wrap. I told her my problem areas, and she wrapped me up right! I was in the wrap for an actual hour, which is awesome because many other places say you will be in for an hour, but really it’s only 30 minutes total after wrappping and unwrapping. This time I lost inches! and was down 2 lbs, and was extremely happy with the results. Definitely go to this place for a wrap!

I tried this place because I was looking for a wrap that would detox and help me loose a little bit of weight. I am thin to begin with but had a bit of a tummy. I met Song and she is very knowledgeable plus she is a RN which I thought was interesting. I used the sauna first which I loved and then she «wrapped» me. After the wrapped we talked about products for your face which ended up being what I was already using but she talked me into a peel from this company to use at home which was AMAZING.
Anyway I saw a little bit of difference from the sauna and wrap when i left but it wasn’t until day 4 that I really noticed how much flatter my stomach is and another bonus that Song told me about but didn’t fully comprehend until now is the weight I have lost in my face!!! Even my 89 year old half– way blind aunt noticed the difference!
It was a little pricey but so worth it, you feel great afterwards. I am looking forward to going back in a couple months for a facial.

I was greeted by Song as soon as I rushed in. There was bad traffic, so I was 5 minutes late for my appointment. The parking lot was completely empty, so I was happy I didn’t have to worry about parking.
Song was nice about my lateness and led me to the FAR-​infrared sauna where she had me rub a scented oil on my wrist and showed me magazines and a carafe of cold water with chlorophyll, which actually tasted really good — almost minty. She also had me fill out a questionnaire and thankfully reminded me to pop in the restroom before my session.
She gave me towels and gave me privacy behind a screen. The sauna was all ready to go, so I popped inside with just my underwear. I later took off my bra inside. The seat and floor of the sauna had a towel on it. The heat increased steadily, and soon I began to really sweat. I finished all of the water she had prepared, and I noticed I was able to drink a lot of it (more than I would normal water, for some reason, maybe because I enjoyed the taste?).
The best part was that she was completely flexible with the time I spent in the sauna, and she didn’t come to «check» on me while I was in there. I stayed in for about 55 minutes, though the timer on the sauna had run out after 45. You can tell she cares about customer happiness.
The only negative, which you get at a lot of places, was that she really pushed her packages on me. I really like body wraps and foot baths, but I can’t afford all of that luxury right now.
I bought a package of 5 (plus 1 free) so six sessions, because I enjoyed the experience, liked Song, and the location is convenient.
I love FAR-​infrared saunas. You really feel your body working to release toxins, and you feel great after.

The service is kind of friendly and the place is pretty clean. Tried out a thinning body wrap, wasn’t what I had expected, but I won’t lie I did come out inches thinner… overall prices are okay and I would come back if I needed to be shrunk again to fit into a dress for special occasions but comes at a price! Pretty accommodating in scheduling and appointments (I had to change my appt like twice) and also located in a pretty convenient spot right off 280.

This was a great experience. I went here to use the FAR-​infrared sauna, something recommended by my doctor to detox from Lyme disease treatment. I’d never used the sauna before, and was a little apprehensive. I was greeted kindly by Song, who’s genuine kindness put me at ease. She showed me the sauna, explained how it worked, and then brought me cold water in a glass (so much healthier than plastic!) to take in with me. Song is a former nurse and is understanding about actual health problems that you may want to heal.
The sauna itself was a relaxing, healing experience. It has its own music system that played soothing, relaxing music. I didn’t hear much outside noise, even though it’s near the front of the office. I had purchased a 45-​minute session, and Song said I could sit for as long or as little of that as I wanted. Perfect. When I was done, Song asked me how I was feeling, brought me more water, and then made some recommendations for other services based on my actual medical condition, not just what was on special that week.
I booked a package of sauna session with this establishment, and will be coming back. I think next time I might even try the ionic foot bath I read about.

I tried this place out solely because they were the closest spa that offered the FAR — Infrared Sauna. I was pleasantly greeted by Steph when I walked in and was guided to the area when the sauna is. I was given the low down on how long I’d be in the sauna and where the reading materials were. Steph then left and came back with a carafe of water which contained chlorophyll. She showed me where the oils were and I was able to choose between four oils — Invigorate, Energy, Relaxation and… I forgot the 4^th. :(
The sauna itself was like any other high quality infrared — relaxing music, digital temperature and timer inside the unit, as well as towels, pillows, robe and slippers. The ambiance was awesome, especially considering the fact that the unit is not far from the front door/​desk. I was not distracted once during my time in the sauna, by noise or otherwise.
When I was getting ready to leave and pay, Steph and I talked about package options as well as the ionic foot bath and other services. She was really friendly and chatted with me as if I were a frequent customer. I’m definitely coming back and making myself a regular once my schedule permits.
The spa was totally clean with slightly dimmed lights and really relaxing music playing throughout. Exactly the the kind of environment you’d expect from such a place.
