Hopping little place! About 15 tables, so key is to come early. Great menu and service. Prices are reasonable. A «must come again» experience!

Friendly staff, and the place was clean, but sadly the food just wasn’t that good. We got the Salmon Benedict and the Waffle Wonder. The salmon benedict came with hash browns that were crispy on the outside but not done on the inside. The hollandaise sauce was alright, but there was way, way too much of it. I had to move big globs of it around my plate. The waffle was very thin and slightly under done. Overall was not too happy. If we ever come here again, we’ll probably stick to the basics of fried eggs, bacon, and toast.

Been here a few times as I work in the area. Great mochas! Have only tried breakfast options and love that they have a variety of light options. I’m a regular now for sure! Plus I like the outside seating.

Very friendly dedicated service with good breakfast food! The asian waiter had a heavy accent, but he was super energetic and friendly. Plenty of parking, food came out fast, restaurant was full, I was left with nothing to complain about. I loved the sign that said«we are open Christmas and New Years.» Now that’s a restaurant ready to serve!

Perfect hash browns at this down home local place. They offer a wide variety of no-nonsense breakfast dishes, mainly focused around eggs, i.e. scrambles and omelettes. And while they have a number of pre-conceived breakfast items, they also adopt the pizza parlor approach. You can create your own scramble or an omelette with your choice from a couple dozen or so different meat, vegetable, and cheese fillings. This place does get crowded, but for good reason. You’ll get a solid breakfast(or, *shudder* «brunch,» if you’re too sophisticated to admit that brunch is really just breakfast eaten on the weekends) that doesn’t purport to be the social event of the season. And did I mention perfect hash browns?

I ordered a lox and bagel. It was ok. It was not the best I had. Place is clean and good customer service. I would come back to try other breakfast entrees.

Just have to give 5 stars because I have eaten here quite a bit these past few years. The breakfast here is very simple, but a decent offering. Can get busy rather quickly, great for early morning breakfast before 7am.

Meh. Ordered the all American breakfast with hash browns and scrambled eggs, and its was greasy and not very flavorful. Also had a side order of buttermilk pancakes which were actually pretty good. Portions were big. Coffee was decent. Would come back for the pancakes.

Had the sausage burrito for $ 5. The burrito was smaller than I thought and very tasteless. Not a fan Another time ordered the meat lovers omelette. surface area wise. the hasbrowns covered the plate. but in terms of how much there was… there was not really much. Omelette did not really leave an impression but the waiters were nice and food came fairly quick

Four pages of breakfast deliciousness on their menu! A cozy place with great service. Our breakfasts were served quickly to our party of 5. Everyone else had the American breakfast, your basic eggs/sausage or bacon/hash brown or country potato/toast. I had the lox benedict(there were about 6 different benedicts!) Just the right portion, filling but not enormous. Really enjoyed it.

I would call this upscale diner food. A Good Morning doesn’t try to reinvent anything, but it will do breakfast food consistently well and in generous portions. You can also get some«fancier» options a la crab cake salad or shumai salad, but otherwise this is your standard eggs/pancakes/sausage breakfast and soup/salad/sandwich lunch place. And the price point is reasonable: it’s no Denny’s, but the food you’re getting is far better, without too much of a premium on price. It’s a popular place and can get busy on the weekends, but turn over is pretty quick and the servers are friendly but efficient. Weekdays are slower and therefore more accessible. Good luck in the weirdly designed parking lot though(especially when teenagers are swarming over to Teaspoon next door…)

I stopped in for the first time to try their breakfast. I was seated immediately and handed a menu. It was well over 10 minutes before the waiter came to take my order. A party of three had come in after me, and their order was taken before mine(same waiter), even tho I was ready to order. My order was finally taken, and I was poured some coffee. LONG before my food came from the kitchen, the party of three had almost finished their entire meal. That’s how long it took to get mine. I was never offered a refill on my coffee. I ordered eggs Benedict, and I was disappointed by how vinegar-y/salty the sauce was. It almost tasted like it came from a package. When I finished my meal, I pushed my plate away and waited for someone to bring my check. In the meantime, the party of three paid and were out the door. The wait staff were all standing together, talking and laughing, and I had to get their attention to ask for my check. I paid by credit card, and again, there was a longer-than-usual wait for my card to be returned. I wasn’t greeted when I came in, nor did anyone say anything as I left. I was left with the impression that parties of 1 don’t matter here. I won’t be going back.

I went here with friends for breakfast. We put our name and party number and were seated. It took a bit for the waiter to come. When he did, my friend asked for coffee. The waiter said, «already?» That was weird. The service was okay. The lady coming around refilling coffee was vibrant. The menu has typos. The waiter asked me to repeat myself several times, but it’s all good. The food was okay. It didn’t «hit the spot.» I had the good morning scramble. It was kind of dry and had little bacon. The orange juice was warm but I asked for ice.

I’ll be completely fair and go into full details on why this place can afford to suck. This place gets VERY busy in the mornings, so busy that you often need to put your name on a list to eat here — that’s gotta be a good thing right? Wrong. This is one of the only breakfast places in the area, so people come in from all the neighboring small towns. With so many people here, you have to pre-make and use frozen food which is what this place does. The food, nothing here except pancakes are fresh: Hash-browns — previously frozen and tasteless Ham — sour(it’s going bad), tough, previously frozen French toast — pre-soaked, pre-sweetened, previously frozen bread Eggs, fried. — Couldn’t do that right, it was poached and put in the grill for a few minutes. Does no one know how to properly fry a fucking egg? Sausages — standard store bought small links Bacon — standard, but inconsistently cooked. Sometimes it’s very overcooked. Blueberries on pancakes — previously frozen as well unfortunately. Lost a lot of its flavor

Just down from our hotel, this was the closest breakfast place after a late night at the concert. There was a short wait, but we got a decent table outside. I went for the crab cake benedict, and it was fantastic. Great crab cake, slightly spicy hollandaise, perfect egg and muffin, good potatoes on the side. Super fresh OJ and great coffee. Sweetie had a build-your-own omelette with bacon and mushrooms. The bacon was stuffed inside, and delicious. I would definitely go back. There is a lot of interesting stuff on the menu. Service was good; prices were a bit high.

Recommendation: Incredibly fast and accommodating service. Really delicious eggs Benedict. I can’t wait to go back and show my friends. Service: The service was really quite good. We walked into the restaurant and were immediately taken care of by a waitress who took us to our table outside on the patio. She wasn’t happy with the slant the table was sitting on so she helped us move it to a more level surface. We took a look at our menus and gave our orders within minutes of sitting down, and(I’m not exaggerating) less than 5 minutes from taking our menus, she was delivering our meals. It felt as quick as ordering a sandwich from Jimmy John’s. As we ate, the waitress came back frequently to check in and fill our glasses, and we were presented with our check soon after we finished eating as well. When I went inside to pay, the staff member operating the cash register was also chatty and enjoyable. In general, the service was speedy when it needed to be, attentive, and enjoyable. Food: I enjoyed my meal a great deal! I ordered the Lox & Capers Eggs Benedict with hash browns, and everything in the meal was great. In terms of presentation, the plate left me salivating. I’ve never seen such appetizing eggs, and while I’m not one to enjoy hash browns, they looked well-cooked and ready to be mixed into the egg yolk. After diving into the meal, I have to say the taste lived up to the heavenly appearance. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the yolks were lovely and drippy. The English muffins were fresh and crisp, and the lox and capers were delicious mixed into everything. Normally I’m not filled by an egg and an English muffin, but this meal was surprisingly filling! The hash browns were also excellent; freshly cooked, not greasy at all, and generally a great complement to the more fluid remains of the Eggs Benedict. I have to say, it was a brunch experience to remember! Environment: I can’t comment too much on the environment, as I didn’t have a great look at the interior. From what I remember, it seemed bright but a little cramped. We sat outside, where there were a few wrought iron round tables for guests. It was on a slanted surface so it wasn’t perfectly level, but our waitress helped us move it to something more stable and flat. There wasn’t any noticeable music playing outside. Conclusion: Maybe it was the perfect weather, maybe it was the service, or maybe it was the food. Something clicked, and the meal at A Good Morning was absolutely phenomenal.

I love breakfast foods. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. As for this place, I have had it bookmarked and luckily we were in the area. We were definitely in the brunch mood and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Located in a busy plaza, the parking situation can be a little challenging, but so worth it. The service is super fast and efficient so our drinks and food came out with the quickness. As for our food we each decided to do breakfast. I ordered the hot mama which is Cajun sausage with tons of fresh veggies and breakfast potatoes and the bf got the spicy Mexican Benedict which came which was a typical Benedict but with onions, jalapeños, avocado and chorizo. Both of our meals were very tasty and pretty filling. Overall, if you want a hearty breakfast then definitely check this spot out.

3.5 stars. Great food, but slooowwww to arrive. We’ve done Saturday morning breakfast here a few times and the place is always packed. Not sure what it’s like on a weekday, but if you come on a weekend be prepared to wait about 10 minutes for a table, then even longer for your food. Menu is great and reasonably priced for Los Altos. I am a fan of the healthy eaters or ‘light fare’ menu, which has some really great options. In addition to traditional american breakfast items, they also offer lunch items like salads, sandwiches and burgers. Definitely something for everyone. Unfortunately, A Good Morning really falls short on service and speed. They really need to beef up their staff because waiting over 40 minutes for eggs is totally unacceptable. The food is great, but waiting so long for it really sucks.
