I have never been to a more unprofessional medical practice in my life. .Dr Derek Dee saw me as a consultation patient in August of 2015… I made an appointment with him because I was having pain in the groin area… Dr Dee’s office took x-​rays and he told me I had issues in the hip area… Dr Dee wanted me to have a MRI which I did in October and followed up with him the end of October. .he suggested an injection of cortisone which was administrated at Los Alamitos Hospital. .The injection helped for about a month at that time Dr wanted me to start physical therapy what a joke… after a few weeks of therapy he decided I needed hip replacement surgery. .I already knew that, he also told me at that visit that he doesn’t do hip surgery anymore. …WHAT if he knew I needed that all along he should have referred me to another Dr. after several messages left to his office which are very rude and uneducated I was scheduled with one of his accociates the night before my appointment the office called me and told me that Dr doesn’t preform hip replacement either? ??? This practice is a joke. after looking on Unilocal I realized several patients were treated the same

This place is great!
I was referred to this place because I just couldn’t wait in GOD DAMM Pain for 7 weeks for a consult visit. I was originally set to go to Dr. Hill in Long Beach, who’s scheduler are terrible and NOT HELPFUL. When I complained to Anthem Blue Cross about it, they got me another referral which was this place and thank GOD.
I read the reviews and health grades about this place before coming and most of them were bad. I went ahead a gave it a shot anyway. The scheduling people are FANTASTIC. It was like night and day dealing with GLBO and Dr. Hill’s office (which sucks). I calling back and forth for the past day and half, THEY WE’RE SO HELPFUL in getting me an appointment with the SOONEST AND BEST availability. Susan and Amber WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL with my experience here and should be praised as BUSY as their place is. Their entire staff is helpful from assistant to all the nurses.
I was seen by Dr. Raymond Klug who is EXCELLENT at diagnosing what’s wrong with you. I was referred to him because a Surgeon «TOLD ME» that an ORTHO Surgeon should be able to help me with my pain problem. Dr. Klug made sure I got an MRI to make sure he didn’t miss anything. After getting the MRI results, Dr. Klug actually gave some good news that I didn’t have any adductor tears or a sports hernia as was indicated before. He even took the time to point out on the MRI where I have the pain and that everything was in good condition. I actually ran into a nurse from my Doctor’s office who had Dr. Klug operate on her shoulder before and assured me I was in good hands. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Klug for anything procedure you may need.
I ran into one of the nurses from doctor’s office who happennend to have her Shoulder surgery with Dr. Klug. She had nothing but a great experience with him and her shoulder looked good as new
So if your like, don’t always believe the worst. I took a chance and had a GREAT EXPERIENCE here. Hopefully you will too.
