My experience visiting the nursery for plants, flowers and Christmas trees has always been positive. But I recently tried to set-​up an appointment to receive a quote for landscaping at our home and had a negative experience. Booking the appointment was easy, but the day of, no one showed. When I called, I got voicemail. A few days later I got a call back with a poor excuse. I went ahead and rebooked. Again, no show. I never bothered to even call and never heard from them either. Pretty disappointing when you have money to spend and want to support a local business.

I love coming here in the Springtime. What would I have done without Jerry the co-​owner? His knowledge and service allowed him to suggest according to what my sun exposure, aesthetic preference and price range were. He loves his nursery, and it shows in his customer service.
I highly recommend this family owned business.

I hired Silverbrook Nursery and Landscaping to redo my entire backyard. I had previously hired a different contractor who partially and poorly built a patio and left it unfinished for years! I needed a different company to come in, tear out the terrible patio, and build something nice but inexpensive. Because the existing patio had to be torn out, that was extra labor for Silverbrook Nursery and they, of course, charged me much more for it. Still, I was pleased that they designed a new backyard of rocks, stepping stones, sod, and plants that looked nice, was easy to maintain, and was as inexpensive as possible. All materials were provided by their garden center. The workers showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and left a much-​improved backyard.

Going to a nursery in December is hit or miss. They had a good assortment of Christmas trees and poinsettias. There were also a number of shrubs on sale and the sales person was very knowledgeable about the plants (both in stock and otherwise). There was only one person working there, which became an issue when there were a few customers.
I was told that I couldn’t use my living social coupon on sale items. I understand that perspective (although it wasn’t stated on the coupon, which is not cool). However, I was really offended when I was told that the fact that I had the living social coupon meant that, even after I bought whatever at full price for the amount of the coupon, they wouldn’t honor their sale prices for other purchases I made.
