This place is kinda in the cut and in an awkward place, so you have to go out of your way to go to Cody’s. They have a diverse menu but I was only appealed to the Vegetarian section. I decided to get the veggie burger and sweet potato fries. It came out to be a little less than $ 13. I was unimpressed by the burger — first bite into it was very hard, as if it was stale, also no flavor whatsoever. Sweet potato fries were pretty good, though. Fast and nice customer service. Probably won’t go again

Everything I have tried is always fresh and amazing. The breakfast potatoes are probably my favorite thing on the menu, they are always perfectly cooked! And the staff is SO friendly!

Relaxed atmosphere makes it a nice place to sit in and eat. They have a bar as well which I will have to come back and try. The Greek omelette was cooked good. Coffee was super hot and was decent. I definitely want to come back and try other items on the menu.

My wife and I like to stop for breakfast on Saturday mornings. My wife is very very picky about her pancakes I call her a pancake snob. She loves Codys pancakes she claims that they are the best in northern Virginia. The best part is they are the same week after week. I sometimes stop in on weekdays for breakfast. The food is always very good it’s also nice when the owner Cody sees us come in and greets us by name. If you are passing by on the highway stop in the food is good. You order at the counter they bring you your food to the table. This is real food not fast food. But it is fast.

Not sure if it’s because they’re under construction, but it didn’t seem to meet the high ratings. The service is friendly and quick. Ordered the French vanilla cappichino. It was delicious, if a little on the cool side. Good service aside, the food was a bit lackluster. The veggie omelet tasted awful; couldn’t finish it. Tasted like something had gone bad. Also had a steak, egg and cheese bagel sandwich; for the price/taste, would rather have McDonalds. Two stars for food. Third star for nice service.

So the food didn’t taste as good as everyone makes it seem. Omelette had this weird taste I can’t explain. Sandwich I had was very dry. Also, they are under construction so the ceiling tiles were open and it seemed very unsanitary. Price isn’t that bad but for the quality, the price is a little too high. I am giving them 2 stars: 1 for serving and 1 for edible food.

Walk inside. Sit and read the menu. We order a pizza to be told they discontinued pizza. Sit and read menu. Order Cuban sandwich to be told out of Cuban sandwiches today. We left. How about a heads up that out of items especially after first time.

I went there on a Saturday. I ordered the hamburger and a slice of French toast. The burger was cooked to the way I asked. It was juicy and flavorful. Not just a grilled piece of meat. I didn’t like that there is a charge for almost every topping. The bun was tasty. It almost seems homemade. The toppings I had were fresh. The French toast was delicious. I tasted hints of vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. I was wanting some butter. I just wish that the custard had been allowed to soak all the way through the brioche bread. It is worth going back for the French toast.(By the way, breakfast is served all day on Saturday.) The place is clean and the staff were very friendly. They gave great suggestions. I would give Cody’s five-stars but the prices are a bit high and I don’t like that they nickel and dime you on the toppings for the burgers. Overall it is worth the visit.

I work near by and eat here often. The food is always excellent, facilities are clean and the staff is the best. Their always polite, friendly and helpful. I was so impressed with the food they offer I hired Cody to cater my party. As always, he provided great service and my guests raved about the food all day. Made me look like a rock star. You will be hard pressed to find this level of service and food for such a reasonable price.

My parents come here almost every other week or so so I was pretty excited to try it. :) They no longer have pizza which was a bummer but I got the Grown Up Grilled Cheese with a side of fries. The sandwich was a very good size(not wimpy at all) & I loved it. The fries were good as well however they weren’t the hottest nor the tastiest. I still think McDonalds has better fries than most places. Definitely going to return!

Clean, quiet, quaint diner, offering great meal options that are worlds better than the local fast food chains that dominate the Route 1 strip. I have yet to try many items, but so far, the mozzarella sticks are super sized and really well made, and the salads are filling and plated nicely. I like good presentation, and some of their serve ware accessories are quite nice. I work across the street and only recently came here through a co-worker who is a big fan. All staff workers are really friendly and hardworking. Cody himself comes out and says hello when he isn’t too busy in the back. I’ve heard tell that some people think the items are pricey, but I think they are quite reasonable– and even comparable to the fast food junk nearby. 5 stars!

Nice mom-and-pop diner, located in an industrial park with Route 1 frontage. We discovered this place, when they joined the awards dining program, and I am so glad that we did. This is an excellent breakfast and lunch option for the Woodbridge-Lorton area, especially if you are going to be in the Occoquan area(since they are just on the other side of the Route 1 bridge). Food portions are very generous and the service is good too. Being vegetarians, they have some things we can eat and they were able to make a substitute of additional home fries instead of a meat selection for the omelets we ordered. We plan to go back and try some of their other vegetarian items like the wraps, burritos and pizzas they have on the menu. Yes! The prices are a little steep, but I really think they are worth it for good home cooked lovin.

Great food and service, but overpriced in my opinion. A small cup of iced tea costs 2 dollars here. No drink is ever included with the specials, so you’re paying at least 11 bucks for your sandwich. They have other things, but this is primarily a sandwich shop that has a pizza oven. Don’t get me wrong, food and service are awesome, but if a Subway opened next door, it would put a massive dent in their business model.

I must say this place was really nice, clean, very appealing. The cashiers where very nice and got my complex order to the T. The food was great very tasteful and well put together. It actually looked like the pictures kudos to the cooks. I would recommend this spot. Great place for lunch. It also open early enough for breakfast, which I will be trying soon.

This place is great. Excellent sandwiches, wraps and salad choices. We got corned beef and pastrami on rye and a buffalo chicken salad. Both generous portions and tasty although a bit salty. It should be noted that this establishment serves beer and wine and they seem to have a decent selection for a small place. They have an impressive customer loyalty program and the restaurant and bathrooms are exceptionally clean! All excellent qualities but I have to say that their overall greatest asset is their staff. Such cheerful and helpful people! A pleasure to dine here! Great place to stop if you’re headed in either direction on that parking lot of a highway! Beats the heck out of fast food!

This is the nearest place to the office — so automatically popular with the hungry crew from work. The staff is very friendly, food comes out quick and is very good. I’ve had a very good western omelet and cheesesteak sub so far since we moved the office nearby. I do think that Cody’s pricing takes advantages of the fact that there’s nothing else nearby without getting into your car as a number of the menu items seem a dollar or two overpriced — but you do get a lot for your money.

Go to place to eat in eastern Fairfax. Convienent to pull off 95 at the rt1 exit when traffic is a disaster and eat while waiting for it to clear up. Ive eaten here many times when I work in the area and have never been disappointed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are excellent. I recommend you try the pizza. so good.

Went here yesterday and it was alright. Prices are rather steep but they have a captive customer base so I guess they can charge more. They have only been open for a day so ticket times were high and it seems like consistency is an issue based on what others have told me. I got the Newport panini which was okay. A couple other people got the fries which were undercooked and had no salt on them at all. Even though they’re packed and have high ticket times they should be focusing on quality and consistency first. Its important for repeat business that they nail their food during the first experience for the customers. There’s a mint to be made in this area because there is no food within walking distance of this office park so they need to drive standards right now. If they get a reputation for being overpriced and sloppy though I don’t think they’ll be around for very long. I’ll give this another shot in a month when it calms down. Update: Allegedly the breakfast is where it’s at according to my coworkers. The omelette plate shown is $ 5.50. I’ve heard that they are working on improvements to the menu so that’s great to hear!
