I was very disappointed with Atlantic for a spa repair. So my spa low speed circulation does not work, which means the heater won’t come on. Atlantic came out, pressed the buttons on the panel a few times, wiggled the connection from the pump to the control panel and said it would need a new pump, and the service charge is $ 139. All that is fine but it has been over a week and no phone call. I’m not an electrical engineer but it seems they could have pulled out the volt meter, checked voltage/resistance to the pump, opened the control panel to check for blown capacitors etc and troubleshoot a little more. The no follow up with the pump estimate is really frustrating and the primary reason for the one star.

Do Not Hire Atlantic Electric operating out of Lorton, Virginia Atlantic Electric came to my house through my warranty company to fix my hot tub. Their«technician» told me it was the pump and the heater as the hot tub did not come on. They got us for $ 1,000 and the hot tub is still dead. Except the fact that on his way out, the tech cut my power cord, ripped out my electric socket and took the relay switch out of hot tub with him. I have been calling them for two weeks and no reply. Finally they took my call and want another $ 375.00 because they think the problem was something else. Also, they want to charge me to replace my perfectly fine power cord and replace my electric outlet that they ripped off the wall. They are not going to return my relay switch. The technician looked like he was 19 years old and obviously did not have a clue. He was so frustrated as he could not find the problem. He kept calling people and yelling out profanity. He finally slammed his cell phone down on the deck and broke it. They saw this as a warranty claim and decided to run the tab since warranty company was paying for it. Now that I have met my $ 1,000 limit, warranty will not pay anymore and these guys now decided that the problem was not the pump. STAYAWAYFROMATLANTICELECTRIC
