Long ago closed, but having lived in Texas and traveling to BBQ places like Memphis and Carolina’s it didn’t impress me very much

It’s the only BBQ place in the area that looks and smells the part. It’s mostly getting four stars because it’s ten minutes from my house and their side dishes are honestly better than most places in KC. I still think I do better ribs myself, but the service is friendly and it’s an excellent place to cater a barbeque if you stick to the pulled pork or chicken.

This place is great! Just good olé homemade BBQ and other dishes. The side dishes are great… the ribs are great. I must come back and try the sandwiches.
I thought the prices were a bit on the high side, but when I got my food home (you can dine in, but I took mine to go) I completely forgot about the price and thoroughly enjoyed a great meal.
I am so glad I found this place! I highly recommend it!
