Come here for my Jeep modifications. Great service, staff, and the pricing is spot on. Definitely worth a stop in if you’re in the area.

This shop is fantastic insofar as their attention to customers and a truly helpful way of doing business. They will bend over backwards to help you. Regardless of what you may be spending that day. I was immediately appreciative of their welcome as I was somewhat unsure if I was in the right place. I certainly figured it out quickly once I stepped inside. Their tactical equipment selection is excellent. No knock-off brands at escalated prices to be found here. Only names known and trusted as high quality, user friendly equipment. The prices are fair, particularly when considering the cost of shipping if looking online, as I previously had for many items found there, simply because I didn’t know the store was there. To be honest, the prices are not competitive with their firearm selection, but their tactical supplies are very well rounded and fairly priced. Their friendly staff have won a loyal customer for life. I can not recommend the store more for tactical needs, particularly LEO’s and Military, who they cater to as a priority(the Wounded Warrior Project sticker prominently on their façade let me know where their priorities lie).

Purchased 6(duty) belt keepers. Was charged over $ 5.00 for each.(had no choice, needed them for work). After wearing them ONCE, 3 of them broke. Those 3 that broke were completely different than the other three I purchased. $ 5.00 is A LOT for only 1 belt keeper. They shouldn’t be selling various quality items for the same price.

10 – 8 is a welcome find — drove past it on 7100… er…I mean 286 several times before stopping by. The staff was very friendly, the store bare-bones but that’s probably what they’re oriented towards. Less retail, more distributor. I noticed they’re an FFL — I’ll use them next time for sure. I picked up a couple odd-and-ends like some 550 cord for a go-bag, perused their electronics cases. So although I didn’t have any major purchases here or interactions, they’ll have my business the next time I do have some business to conduct.

There are few«genuine» tactical duty gear stores in the NOVA. I don’t know whether it’s a function of this area being a battleground between the«blue vs. red» politics or not — but for an area with so many LEO and military personnel, I would think we would be brimming with these types of stores around military bases. But alas, there are a few military surplus stores that sell 90% useless crap that’s cheaply made and 10% gear that will suit your needs. 10 – 8 skips the crap and just carries what you need. Whether you’re an armed citizen, law enforcement, military, or fire/rescue, you’re going to find items here made of quality materials that will last. It’s one of the few stores I’ve seen that rival General Jackson’s in Fayetteville, NC. The crowd here is very military and LEO friendly and will even knock off a bit of the price if you show ID. They’re not open on Sundays — my only rub — but otherwise when I’m down at Fort Belvoir for a Commissary run, I’ll usually stop by to make sure that there’s not something else I «need». :)
