I came here with my friend on their karaōke night, and the diversity of the patrons was very amusing to see. I’m not sure what’s going on with the name of the place, but it is hilarious by the way. This isn’t much of a singles bar in my opinion, but a fun place to sing and relax with close friends. Similar bars I used to visit with my friends in the Loomis/Rocklin/Penryn area have closed down, sadly, but I hope this one survives for a while.

I have been here a few times usually when buying cigars next door. The crowd is older for sure, but everyone has always been polite and upbeat and if you go with friends who cares. The old timers have some funny stories. The service has always been good. The drinks have always been very good. Décor is ancient, but they have darts. All in all it’s a pretty cool, laid back place to escape the«drama» of other bars in the area.

Love this place. Inexpensive drinks and lots of locals to visit with… Like Cheers, always someone you know there. Friendly bartender Colleen always greets me by name and with a smile. Owner Pete holds different events there and is sooo generous to his customers.

I love to go to this bar when you’re with a few friends and you all want to go out but are not looking for a loud over priced place. When you first walk in you are under the impression that everything has been there for quite a long time. With the wood wall and bar. But everyone in there is extremely nice. There are the old locals that knows everyone by name, and its a blast to talk to them about the old times of Loomis. Minus one star for not taking credit cards. Minus one star for not having beer on tap Plus one star for having liers dice.

This is a terrific neighborhood lounge and while the one reviewer admits to his having been so drunk he got sick I find it a lousy point from which to offer his jaded and sad opinion. Also they are assiduous about not having underage drinkers in there and have always been since it opened back in 1986 so doubt his veracity in his claim to having been drunk there before he was 21. Please do not visit there again. People of all legal ages come to this place and all income levels and they are all treated with neighborliness and hospitality and Pete welcomes newbies and regulars as well. It maintains a decent climate so that anyone can come there and not suffer an offensive and trashy atmosphere. The Weasels biking club visits right alongside people coming home from businesses and just wanting a drink or two and some pleasant conversation. there is something for anyone here to enjoy.

This place isn’t worse than the 160 Club in Auburn, but pretty close to it. I puked there a few times before I was 21(years back) and had booze from another source; the source went to bed for the night and I was next door at Ron’s Tobacco Republic buying cigars and felt my buzz wearing off and I thought maybe the dive next door would oblige. They didn’t, but probably more so because I couldn’t stand up. As I was leaving I felt like I had a puke and then BAMM vomited everywhere and then went back home(I did have a sober driver!) to try and sleep. I still go to the cigar shop, but not Liberal Bull. They have«meatloaf days» and other stuff like that, but it’s usually only 65+ year old people that are near death from heavy drinking for decades and basically given up people. Some that still have it together go there, but they’re usually near death, too.
