Cheap-​ish drinks, darts for fun, and top notch people-​watching in quiet Lonsdale, MN. I guess if you have to be in Lonsdale, it’s a fine option for drinking!
BONUS: how cool is it to be INSIDE a place called The Whistle Stop (Fried Green Tomatoes, anyone?)

This is another great place to eat. The diner side is nice, clean and new. The food is very good, and the pizza is also. Haven’t had anything I haven’t liked yet and the dinners are reasonably priced with most dinners getting you out of there for under $ 15. Haven’t tried the bar, just lunch and dinners but for sure recommend the dining!

Good food, good drinks and good times… oh and they spend a good deal of time and energy trying to make this place better for their customers… improvements on building, additions to services, they are always trying out new entertainment, they provide many nights of bands/​djs on, BINGO, fundraisers,
They built a outdoor smoking area (and you can bring your drink with ;) just use the correct door. They have good food, eat at the bar or take the family out for a sit down dinner in the separate and well decorated area.
