I had the Smash Burger and Smash Fries. I was pleasantly surprised. The burger is excellent and the fries are awesome. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. They also have vitamin water on tap.

It’s different than 5 Guys but still good for a chain. The smash fries are our favorite part. Had a previous problem with them getting our to-go order incorrect then saying they couldn’t refund, but the manager worked it out. Milkshakes are awesome!

Decent food with good service but in my opinion it’s over priced for the quality of food you get. It’s good, don’t get me wrong but it’s not earth shattering good by any means. Decent place to being the family on a nice day to eat lunch out on the patio.

I love that I can make my own burger and they are delicious! The Smash Fries and the fried pickles are awesome! The only negative here is that it is a but pricey.

Dinner last night. Clean, attentive, good selection but … ordinary. The burger wasn’t outstanding. Typical ‘Chain” burger. The Smash Fries had some taste but were too small to hold to dip. We had a coupon. Eh, what are you gonna do, right?

I feel bad rating this because I haven’t had a burger yet, just one of the salads. Very yummy! Fries and shake were also good. Dressing was spicy hot! I can’t wait to go back and try a burger next time

Best burger in Longview. I am really liking this place a lot. My favorite thing is a ½ pound Smashburger on the egg bun, Swiss cheese, ketchup, mustard, and pickles. I get them with the Smashfries which are in like an olive oil with Rosemary. I really like them a lot. Food is consistently good and the service is fast and friendly.

All of the smash burgers are the same, I do not know why I figured this one would be different. The cheddar bacon burger was just alright. The bbq was nothing special, in fact I probably would have preferred it off the burger. The caesar dressing that I ordered with my side salad tasted like something store bought. All in all, for the price of my burger and a small salad I could have gone somewhere better for cheaper.

OMG… it was soooooo nasty! I enjoy burger joints immensely and this sucked big time! My whole family could not even take more than a few bites. Do not waste your money on this trash!

Smashburger is, to say the least, disgustingly greasy. Worse, there was an almost rancid oil taste to the veg fries. Once is enough. It could have been a one time problem on their part, but when everything is floating in fat and that overwhelms the flavor, it isn’t worth a second try. It may be what some like, but not here.

The Burgers were really good and for my daughter to eat a cheeseburger is a big deal because she is very picky eater but she ate almost her whole burger and she was a really big fan of their shakes as well.

Best burgers in town. Between the never frozen meat and the super fresh veg and buns it is a simple recipe for a burger worth going out of your way for.

I love the build-your-own burger; it’s the onlly one I’ve ever gotten at any restaurant that is exactly the way I like it. The haystack onions are good, too, although sometimes a little greasy. If there is a line to order, it moves quickly, and the employees are always friendly and helpful.

I gave them 3 stars for the burger and an extra one for having fried pickles. The bill came to $ 9.49 after tax for a 1/3lb. All-American Smashburger with a drink and fried pickles. My burger was good, although I’ll pay more attention when ordering and get it without the ketchup. The ranch dressing that comes with the fried pickles BLOWS. It reminds me of the shitty ranch that Sonic serves. BYODressing

For whatever reason, I put off going here for the longest time. I guess it was fear of the unknown. I mean, how good could a burger place in a strip center be? Then I read that many«gourmet» burger chains are locating in strip centers to reduce costs. Okay, that makes sense. Back to the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice. Nicer than most burger chains. The menu was pretty inviting. They had a jalapeño, chili burger!!! I’m home! I really liked the fact that you could create your own burger. Choose your bread, condiments, meat or chicken, add-ons and voila — you can REALLY have it your way. The burger was outstanding. The meat was tender, fresh and flavorful. The chili was great. The jalapenos were fresh. The french fries were as close to McDonalds(The Holy Grail) as I have tasted yet. I did not like the Smash Fries but I don’t like rosemary and these are doused in rosemary. They had several other things on the menu that I would love to try. They even looked like they had a great selection of heart healthy/lo-cal items. Two different managers checked on us throughout our meal. I was extremely impressed and sorry I had waited so long to try it. Smiley face and a star for a chain burger joint.

The burgers here were excellent – cooked well, very fresh tasting… a nice change from your standard fast-food style burger. I was slightly disappointed with the seasoning on the sweetpotato fries as well, but they were still leaps and bounds better than the typical fries at other places. I was very impressed with this place. Excellent service and great food.

I tried Smash Burger this afternoon with my in-laws while in Longview this weekend. From what I understand, SmashBurger just opened recently and the place was packed. We stood in line to try out their burgers and luckily the line went by pretty quickly. I’ve been told that Smashburger’s method of making their burgers is to get a ball of beef and smash it while cooking it — thus the name SmashBurger. Their menu had a lot of different options of add-ons for their burger such as a fried egg or fried pickles in addition to the usual add-ons like bacon and grilled mushrooms. I decided on the BBQ bacon cheese burger with their sweet potato fries and my husband decided to build his own burger by choosing a ½ lb patty on a multigrain bun with a fried egg and bacon as add-ons and an order of their SmashFries(no, they’re not smooshed). When we got our food it really did look amazing. I went with their standard egg bun which was grilled — the burger had a nice helping on top of the other toppings I selected on my burger. Overall opinion of my burger was that it was ok. I enjoyed my burger but I did not care much for their BBQ sauce, although the patty itself had an excellent flavor. If I had stuck with just a simple bacon cheese burger I would have loved my burger. My husband’s burger however was a bit of a disappointment. Although we definitely agreed that the patties and buns were very good — they short changed him on the add-ons he selected. The bacon he requested for his burger only amounted to one small slice of bacon torn in half and the fried egg covered about a third of the size of the patty. On to the fries: I wouldn’t recommend them. The SmashFries and the sweet potato fries were both seasoned with Rosemary and Garlic oil. The flavoring didn’t mesh well with the natural flavor of the sweet potato and on the regular fries the flavor seemed to fall flat. I thought it was an interesting concept — but one that needed some work. If they had served their sweet potato fries with cinnamon and sugar they would have been absolutely amazing — but no luck. You do also have the option of ordering their regular fries without the rosemary and garlic flavoring if you’re interested in trying they’re fries after all. My overall opinion about the place is that it is alright — I’d try it out again. But I’d only go for just a basic burger next time.
