Very good Lunch, one of the best in Longview. The staff is very friendly and the store seems to be very clean.

Most of the reviews are of when this place was under different management, but there is a new owner. It is what this place needed. This is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. It is usually packed around lunch time, so you usually want to try and beat the rush

Have ate at other Ichi restaurants, thought this was subpar. Got General Tso chicken(as per usual), don’t think there was a single piece without gristle, and all the pieces were small and stringy. Makes me wonder if all the scraps go into this dish. I normally have a cast iron stomach, but I could only eat about half of this meal.

Such a big meal at a little cost! This sweet little place tucked away in the mall is such a lovely place! I would recommend to others! You really feel like your getting more for your money if you eat here. The staff is so friendly to you so you feel welcomed. It’s a nice quiet place to just sit back and enjoy some mall food for once.

For a town with limited food choices this is one of the better places. The Teriyaki used to be the best in town under previous ownership. New owners are nice but quality of chicken is now lacking. Chicken is paper thin, over-cooked and crispy to hard at times. It’s still better than its local competitors with the rest of the menu being good.

Ichi’s is a great meal for the price! We go there for dinner once a week and are always greeted with a friendly smile. We usually get the Veggie Teryaki Chicken Bowl with a side of rice. I always get mine with no Teryaki sauce so I can add my own. Add a little Sriracha and go from good to awesome.

All the folks leaving bad reviews here are fools. This is the best Teriyaki in the area. Yes, I’ve tried them all, and always come back for Ichi. Ichi is a chain, with numerous locations within 50 miles of Portland. I’ve ate at three or four of them, and this one is my favorite. Prices do seem a bit much, $ 9 – 12 per person, but I may just be cheap. They are very friendly owners and employees. I recommend H-9, the Cashew chicken with Brown Rice.

To all tge people who love this place go try Minami Teriyaki. I used to love this place because unlike minami you can get noodles instead of rice but I just ate there ant got the sweet n sour and teriyaki combo with noodles and the portions have shrunk in half I was so disappointed it didn’t fill me or my 100 lb wife up at all so just to make sure I wasn’t going crazy we went straight over to minami teriyaki and got the sweet n sour teriyaki combo and it was overwhelmingly more food the chicken was moist and I got a free soft drink where I had to pay 2 extra dollars at ichi 12 for what McDonald’s would call a kids size drink. Now they have new owners, and they charge extra for extra vegetables and for brown rice. Which use to be the same charge. Not real friendly.

It is definitely strip mall teriyaki. But it is AMAZING! We try to go here whenever we are in Longview. I don’t know what they do to their Orange Chicken, but it is so yummy and SO much better than Panda Express.(which is right across the mall) My husband is a bit of a health nut, but he still loves to eat here as well. My 18 month old LOVES their egg rolls too! The service has always been good whenever we have gone. The Asian lady who I believe runs the place is a total sweetie. She even fed my baby(then 6months) her bottle so I could eat my lunch.(I know that sounds weird. But if you are a mother, you know that trying to hold your baby and feed her, AND eat at the same time is tricky. So a little asian lady offering to feed your baby is awesome.) I highly recommend this place if you want quick yummy food.

For being a little strip mall restaurant. this place is AWESOME! I can’t believe that it is getting such tough ratings! We’ve eaten here many times and have never had bad food or bad service. and portions sizes are more than adequate. My wife and I went in for lunch today… and for about the same price as it would have cost us to eat at McDonalds. we got a healthy meal and walked away FULL! We each got a huge plate of food. stacked with the best tasting teriyaki chicken in town… I love their teriyaki sauce. and if there isn’t enough… there is a full bottle of it conveniently located within arms reach of the plate. We also got two scoops of fresh white sticky rice, and a half a plate of delicious fresh green salad. But let me tell you about the best part… it was about 1:30 when we went in… and we went to the counter ordered and paid for our meal. and before we could get our drinks poured. our server was coming out with our plates! Talk about FAST!!! I don’t think we get that kind of service even from McDonalds!!! They have loads of choices on the menu… including sushi and seafood plates. wife says the sushi is excellent. as are the other menu choices we have tried. never have had a bad experience at this restaurant.

Food is pretty good, but used to be better. The prices went up, and yet now you get less food. May or may not go back…

I walked in at 7pm Tues & it was pretty packed with customers. This was my 1st time so seeing this many customers i figured this place must be pretty good. I ordered the Ichi special for $ 10.99. It includes teriyaki beef, chicken, pork & prawn tempura. The chicken was very dry, the beef was so so but the pork was pretty good. The tempura was 6 pcs but they were regular shrimp size & they were ok too. I going guess that they precook all their meat because while waiting for my order i noticed there wasn’t any scent of meat grilling. Overall since it is a fast food place it is ok. At least the teriyaki sauce is real. Some places give you watery sauce.

This place has great food! However they have gotten pretty pricey in my opinion. The place is cramped and feels a bit like a cafeteria.
