Chicken Express

DO NOT GO — HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We sat and waited patiently for our order (for only two people) for ~15 minutes and finally called in and asked what was up. The very unenthusiastic (why is everyone commenting and saying they’re all so happy!!!) said they were waiting for chicken, because the cook had to go to the bathroom (there’s only one person who can cook chicken there?! What about the manager, because apparently he was there — see more later). So we waited ANOTHER ~10 minutes and called BACK, because we kept seeing people go in and out and what looked like about a dozen people working there. He said was gonna check for us, came back, & said «our manager says it’ll be another 4 – 5 minutes.» Call me crazy, but half an hour for some fried chicken at a fast food joint is insane. We cancelled our order to a half-​assed at best «sorry ’bout that…» and left, they didn’t even offer to comp it. I really think now that the good reviews of this place must be the employees and management.

Delicious chicken – no one does it better. (Love the fried pickles, too.) Friendly, attentive service. Very clean facilities. A+ location.

They have the best sweet tea! There’s a drive thru and the places you can pull up and order like sonic, but they have to take your card back inside to swipe then bring it back out so pay cash or go to the drive thru if in a hurry. A little pricey but the food is consistently good.

Always great service and great food. Very clean and yes, they don’t generally count their pieces before boxing up your order.

Greasy but good. I especially liked the light, almost airy fried chicken batter. The mashed potatoes were also quite tasty.

Awesome chicken strips. Great service. Even usually get an extra piece or two. Wish they still served biscuits with their meals though. Those were so good. Now they have rolls.
Edit: Last time I went there, they had biscuits again. Woohoo!
