Excellent! Food was wonderful! service was super! We all had something different started with crawfish, spinach, artichoke dip, cheese tray with fruit… Both O’ so yummy!!! Entrees were Chilean Sea Bass that was BEST we have ever had (and we have dined at some great great places)! Cheesecake for dessert was perfect! Can’t wait to go back again!!!

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. My previous experience here was before remodeling, several years ago.
The new space is quite upgraded. Great ambiance, nice music, terrific service tonight and good food.
Appetizers, entrees and salads are a step above most Longview fare. The Pomegranate Salmon and risotto was delicious. Nice wine list. Didn’t have room for dessert.
We will definitely return — and won’t wait several years between visits.

My favorite thing about this place was the Crawfish, Spinach and Artichoke dip. It was served with bread and super delicious. Highly recommended!
I ordered the Seafood pasta. It has lobster, salmon, shrimp and scallops in lemon butter with peas and capers. The capers gave it just enough kick. It was also really tasty.
They also have a great dessert menu. We ordered the Italian Cream cake, Crème Brulee and Vanilla Bean cheesecake. It all must have been good because I heard no one complain.
Overall, cute little place for what I consider small town Longview.

The food is still great, but we have had bad experiences with the service the last 3 times we have visited. Just coordination issues between the kitchen and wait staff, slow, and unattentative.
On one occasion, one of us did not receive their food until about 10 minutes after the other two people we were with received theirs. Another, we never received any bread or water after repeatately asking for it. It also took a very long time to get a refill on our drinks on several occasions. Lastly, I ordered the hot n crunchy chicken, as I usually do, and it was pink in the middle (this happened right before moving to the new location in December 2014).
We have been frequent customers to Barron’s and love the food! The service has just been extremely disappointing since moving to the new location.

Barron’s Restaurant is not near the quality it was before expansion! It used to be our «go to» restaurant when we traveled from Dallas to visit family in Longview.

I would like to try again after the kinks have been worked out as I do not like the other dining options of Olive Garden and Applebees.

Wow! This is amazing. It has a super fun and trendy atmosphere! For an appetizer we got the cheese tray… For 14 dollars … Yes! I went here with a group thinking this place would be a place for chick food and that I wouldn’t like it. Boy was I wrong! The food is amazing! I had a cup of soup, a burger and a desert and it was very, very good.

Fort Campbell North, KY
A little pricey, but have had good food the few times I’ve came. Love the charm of the place and would never really know the intimate setting from seeing it from the outside. Looks more like a store, but once you step into the café it’s small and quaint. Great for a date night in Longview.

Always enjoyed lunch or dinner at café Barron’s. menus isn’t overwhelming or overpriced. I would suggest dressing nice but I have ate their wearing casual and felt the services was always professional. Do have to give kudos to the young lady with the beautiful singing voice.
The food is very well done and plated ambiance is very intimate and can be a bit busily during heavy lunch and dinner crowd but overall it’s a wonderful place to enjoy good food and company.

Excellent experience. Food was wonderful, service was attentive but not interruptive. Fresh sourdough bread served before the meal was great. I had the hot and crunchy fish (hot and crunchy chicken is also good), and my husband had the mahi mahi. Chocolate cheesecake and vanilla latte for dessert. Everything was superb.

This is a unique restaurant set inside a bookstore. Small and intimate. Moderately priced. They have daily specials that vary. Sometimes when I want to have dessert, I will just order an appetizer instead of a meal. Portions are generous. Fresh french bread is served with all meals. Good prices on wine and beer.

My wife and I used to enjoy going here as the ambiance was nice and the food was mostly well prepared. Lately they have been slipping and you have about a 50⁄50 chance of having an enjoyable dining experience. We hope things improve soon as it’s nice to have good dining choices in the area.
