Nice park. Clean and plenty for the kids to play on. Not too busy but it was during a Bronco game. Would go there again.

This review is for the dog park only — The park itself is very nice and well maintained, but the dog park is nothing compared to the dog park at 21st and Francis. No water bowls for the dogs, only one bench for sitting, and all dirt. If I was coming without a dog it might get better ratings, but I was hoping for a regular spot to take my dog. Unfortunately it won’t be here.

This park is perfect for those who reside nearby. It’s convenient, safe, and super clean. Plus — it neighbors a pond stocked with fish and babbling creek for children and dogs to frolic. I am not sure if dogs are allowed in the water, but they sure do love jumping right in to cool off. Some downsides include the lack of water for the dogs, seating, and space inside the actual dog park. There were a few trees that provided much needed shade, however there’s really not much more to this dog park except the nice residential ambiance and somewhat isolated location. If I find myself in Longmont again soon, I will definitely take the pups back, but for now I’ll stick to the dog parks in my neck of the woods that suit me and my mongrels just fine. If I drive a distance for a dog park, it’s for a good reason.

Super tiny dog park but it does the trick! We stopped by after visiting Oskar Blues; figured the dog deserved a treat after watching us sit and drink beer, even though he should be pretty used to this by now. A few trees for shade otherwise it’s all exposed. There are no water fountains here for the dogs! No bowls set out either. There was is a small pond nearby with a fountain and it was a hot day so we let him cool off near the edge of that. The playground was nice and had a lot of swings. Open space and trails surrounding the park and a larger shelter with picnic tables. Bathrooms provided as well. Nice park overall but the dog park itself doesn’t provide the amenities most do, and should. Water fountains are a no brainer!

A rare dog park that is more than just a muddy fenced-in run. Nice place to relax.

This is hands down the best park in Longmont. It’s got the most unique playground setup I’ve ever seen. Most of their equipment spins and twists, so kids can get really active with it(just make sure they don’t get queasy easily!) They have a number of big picnic tables that are great for groups and it has a giant field that is perfect for playing ball or flying kites(with minimal tree tangling threats…) The best part is that it is always clean and tidy. All the equipment is new and safe, and the premises are sparkling. They also have a bathroom and water fountain which are handy. The child I watch loves this park so much we once made the trip from Boulder to Longmont just so she could play here. As a bonus, they have a nice little dog park in the same area, so your furry friends can run loose!
