Having often shopped at Lucky’s N. Broadway store, in Boulder, and gone there for a quick meal and to the Lucky’s Bakery, I thought I’d try the Longmont Lucky’s one day for lunch, after seeing my hairdresser who’s shop is very close by. I wandered over to the bakery and deli and was very disappointed. There was barely anything in the fresh bakery section. It appeared to be cleaned out with only 1 donut, forlornly sitting in the self serve cabinet. The coffee was terrible. The deli selections looked to be identical as the N. Broadway store, but alas, nothing looked appetizing, except for the salmon, which is very well priced and cooked perfectly every time I get it. So that’s what I opted for. As for the store itself, it’s well laid out, feels open and inviting and the people who work in both the liquor store and the main store are wonderful. Very nice people too. Pretty good selection of items, though not as many organic veggies and fruits as the store in Boulder.

I don’t know why I continue to go in this place. Everytime I try to find something that is advertised on sale, it doesn’t exist. I went for plums that were advertised on sale a few weeks ago and«we didn’t get the shipment.» Did they offer a rain check? Did they apologize? NO. I went for a london broil that was on sale a few weeks ago. «They didn’t come in.» Did I get a rain check? Did I get an offer of something else to substitute? NO. Today, I went for ribs that were advertised on sale. «We should have some tomorrow morning.» Did I get a rain check? Did get an offer of a substitute? NO!!! I hate this store. Please help me to remember to NEVERGOBACK.

The grocery store that eventually became the first Lucky’s Market is my neighborhood market. It was called«North Boulder Market» when my family first moved to the North Boulder neighborhood in the 80s. It changed ownership over the years, and changed names. Now it has multiplied and is in Longmont and many other cities. Today was the first time I’ve ever been in any Lucky’s other than the original. Guess what? The Longmont Lucky’s is way nicer than the Boulder one. I realize they are not in competition with each other. But it left me wishing that the Boulder Lucky’s could be more like this one. Sigh. I really am in awe of this Lucky’s. It is huge, and well-arranged. The deli was offering some delicious looking items today. Not hungry though; just ate. My daughter found some yummy snacks for her trip home. i was sad to note that a supplement item I wanted to buy for my daughter was 3 dollars more at this Lucky’s than at the Boulder location. A nice young lady in the vitamin department explained to us that each store has individual pricing systems. It would have been nice if they could have communicated by phone with the Boulder Lucky’s and given us the price offered in Boulder. As it turned out there was not enough time to purchase the item in Boulder before I had to get my daughter to another place she had to be at 3:30. Then she left town. If I lived in Longmont, though, I would definitely do at least some of my shopping here. They did have some nice low prices … the boxed teas for example. And the atmosphere there is so pleasant.

I love Lucky’s pizza, the 2 for $ 4 slice deal has saved me on many a lunch break. So today I ordered a whole pizza to be picked up. I asked for a Lucky’s Combo, but to replace the onions with basil. The person taking my order didn’t ask for my name or anything, and when we went to pick it up, they had given our modified pizza away to someone else. As a substitute, they put basil on another Lucky’s combo they had laying around, but it had obviously been sitting there for awhile… it was lukewarm and the crust was hard, with the bottom of the crust stuck firmly to the bottom of the box. I understand you may get a lot of pizza orders on a Friday night, but this was fairly unprofessional and disappointing.

I love this place! You cannot get enough healthy fresh food anywhere except if you made it yourself. In town for work and you make eating healthy easy! Your deli got super busy and needed help but other than that all the food I had was awesome, the pizza was great and the pasta salads were delicious!

Awesome deli salads and in store smoked deli meats, the turkey breast is great and a little cheaper than the big grocery store deli.

THEBEST. All of the homemade soups I’ve tried from here(which is quite a few) are absolutely amazing. The people that work here are usually always super nice, and the beet and goat salad they have in the deli is soooo yummy. Also they have a pretty awesome salad bar for dirt extremely cheap. The produce is A little more expensive compared to sprouts, but for the quality it’s worth it. My go to store for everything. Yum yum yum.

I come here almost daily for lunch, my work is super close. I have a small(okay maybe it’s pretty big) obsession with soup. Lucky’s Market hands down has the best soup at lunch. I always grab a cup of soup and get a sliced loaf of Rudy’s Sourdough Bread to go. They have vegetarian options too which is nice when I’m craving veggies! But to whoever makes the soup– You do an awesome job thank you! The ham and coconut soup is very delicious!

prices on the high-side… some good prices on sale items, inconsistent quality on fruit and veggies. In-house pizza is pretty tasty

They smoke their own meat here! You can find multiple home smoked BACONS at the meat counter here. Yummy! It’s like the Boulder classic off of Broadway, just bigger and more Bouldery. Longmont’s got it goin’ on!

This is a place where I would shop the loss leaders and only the loss leaders. It’s basically Whole Foods without the brand recognition. Normal products(Sriacha sauce for example) cost a LOT more than nearby Safeway/King Soopers. Ice creams available are either organic/no dairy blah blah blah or way more expensive than again, the nearby regular shopping places. I would go to Sprouts over this place. I can actually walk to this place and I’ll drive to Sprouts. That’s how much better I think they are.

They have thick fresh cut BACON in their meat section for $ 5.99/lb. Is there really anything more to say. Right next to the ribeyes they wrap up nice and fresh for you, is BACON they do the same thing with. Well organized, clean, cute, hipstery with a unique, fresh selection of all goods. Unlike any market or grocery you’ve ever been do. With a fresh deli with all kinds of goodies. I would eat and shop here all day everyday.

The addition of Lucky’s Market to this area of town is fantastic. It is great to have another choice for organic and local produce, meats, deli items, bulk section, vitamins/supplements — not to mention the attached wine and spirits shoppe. The customer service is stellar. Every employee I have encountered is happy and helpful. Bring your own bag and you can donate your bag credits to the charity of your choosing using wooden coins! And, coming soon, a ModMarket right next door!!! It is great to see Longmont evolving.
