Worthy of 5 stars breakfast. Fast, and I mean really fast, and friendly service. Clean welcoming atmosphere. I read a review that the coffee was awesome, and it was! I also ordered the corn beef hash and eggs based on a fresh local egg endorsement, and rave cbh reviews. The eggs were a great tasty choice, and the cbh was all it was supposed to be and more! Fresh and unique! The home fries were a little bland, but I wasn’t going to take a star away from this gem of a place for an item that typically gets ketchup anyway. Next time I’m trying the biscuits & gravy which I saw come out to the table next to me and looked delicious. Check this place out if you’re in the area for sure.

Very disappointed. Service good, but… I asked for fresh squeezed orange juice, but was brought juice from a jug. The Hollandaise Sauce on my wife’s Eggs Benedict was watery and flavorless. I asked for a thin 2 egg omelet, but received one that was thick and tough. Too bad!

Was there today for breakfast. After 25 minutes wait we were seated and had breakfast. Possibly one of the worse breakfast in town. The egg Benedict were cold with bottle sauce, the potatoes were stone cold. My breakfast was the same, day old biscuit, cold eggs, and runny almost soup consistency grits. Never again.

Saw they have a check-in deal, but att cell service cuts out 50ft from the location, so I couldn’t check in, and they have no WiFi. Couldn’t get the deal, and the food was OK but a bit overpriced like everything in the area.

The portions are big and you get more than what you pay for! Delicious breakfast! Good hot coffee! I had the eggs benedict and my husband had huevos rancheros. We also spilt a regular Belgium waffle. I recommend both dishes!!! The service was typical café service, not over the top but good over all.

We ordered carry-out for breakfast. If you do this, just make sure you confirm which location as there’s two nearby. The biscuits and gravy were perfect hangover food.

Four of us stopped in for breakfast while vacationing in the area. The service was weird-3 different people waited on us. One took the drink order and brought the drinks, one took our food orders and brought the food, & another who brought the check. Odd. Anyway, 3 out of 4 of us enjoyed our meals. I had the bagel with salmon and cream cheese and it was delicious. My husband ordered a special, the crab Benedict and it was amazing!!! A friend ordered another special, the seafood omelet and he said it was very good. Another friend did not eat her meal-she ordered biscuits and gravy with bacon. She said the biscuits were very dry and the bacon was undercooked. The prices are a bit high. I would probably go again if I am in back in the area.

We didn’t enjoy breakfast here. Not sure how a restaurant that only serves breakfast can’t get it right.

Pretty generic and unremarkable food. Service was efficient, not friendly not informative. If is wasn’t for the fact that they have«Dolphin» in the name, we would not have gone.

The coffee was good although they did not have raw sugar available(Long Beach Café does), The corned beef hash was good but not great as I had expected and the biscuit looked amazing but did not have a lot of flavor, which was a surprise — the grits were watery and bland. I don’t mind paying $ 15 for a good breakfast but this was a disappointment I must admit. I had ordered my eggs over medium and they came out totally well done and hard, however they quickly brought out new ones. The homemade biscuits at Long Beach Café are much more delicious… Thought I would try this place as they had great reviews. I guess it was just several little things combined like when the flavor of the biscuit was lacking I decided to try some syrup to see if that helped things and even the syrup was very thin and flavorless and in a place like this I would expect some really yummy gourmet syrup. I will probably try them one more time passing on the biscuit.

We were the first to arrive on Tuesday morning, I didn’t realize they opened at 9, but just as we sat down, two other families sat down around us. This was my last stop on a wonderful 36 hour stint with my best friend in town from NYC. Our drinks came out in a timely manner, I LOVED the mini biscuits they give you to start! I ordered the Greek omelet, it was DELICIOUS and hit the spot! I also asked for a side of bacon and it was cooked perfectly, not too greasy and not too underdone. I had a long drive ahead of me back to Fort Lauderdale, so I asked our server for a to-go coffee cup and she politely obliged. The only thing I found a little strange was that I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the servers stand inside at the little window or the front door and peek at the guests every three minutes or so, in order to see if they need anything, which I didn’t mind, but a person with paranoia might freak out, haha. Maybe the windows need to be tinted so we can’t see you, even if you can see us!

Located on the extra swanky St. Armands Cir, you can find an affordable breakfast/lunch/brunch spot that will satisfy your tastebuds while keeping your wallet intact. The menu boasts typical diner breakfast and lunch items that will run from 3 dollars to about 11. On this visit, I got the breakfast wrap– a vegetarian delight served on a spinach wrap and alongside a generous fruit plate. Including a tall grapefruit juice, it was a 10 dollar meal. The burrito was quite large and I ate half for breakfast and half for lunch. The seating is ample and our waitress was great, but they could benefit from a hostess. It is a tourist hot spot, and when we walked in there was no one to greet us or even a sign letting us know if we should seat ourselves. After a moment, someone did finally address us and that is when we realized there was a wait. After we had been seated, I saw several other parties experience the same awkwardness. Definitely worth a stop!

Absolutely disappointing, mainly due to the fact that the restaurant is not well cared for and not clean Duct tape over molding, fries on the floor, view of behind counter very spent, return AC ducts very dusty

During our trip in Longboat Key, we came to this café twice for breakfast. The breakfast was very good. I’m not a potato eater but since my husband ordered his breakfast with potato in it, I tried it and it was very good. The café closes around 2 pm, so if you think of going here, enjoy breakfast and lunch only and find your dinner some place else *:) We had a friendly waitress who seemed happy with her job. That’s important. When the staff happy, customers happy and vice versa. It’s not a good reception to make phone calls or check Internet at this café. It didn’t seem to pick-up wi-fi either. But hey, we enjoyed breakfast here, why bother with cell phones or Internet when you have a good breakfast in front of you!

Not 4 stars because our service was so sketchy last weekend. 3 different people served us and not one of them got my order right. The check was delivered by a fourth and as a result our check was incorrect and they had to correct it. That’s the bad part. The good: The food was really, really good. The corned beef hash was as good as previous reviewers stated. My egg platter was done perfectly and the portions were nicely sized. My dining companion appeared to have enjoyed his meal as well. The coffee was really good.

This is a great little café, only open for breakfast and lunch. My boyfriend and I visited on a Saturday morning and were seated right away! The service was quick and the food was delicious, breakfast was your typical omelette, pancakes, waffles, etc. I ordered the fruit topped waffle with a side of turkey sausage. The waffle was decently sized with nice pile of fresh strawberries, banana slices, and some blueberries, it also came with whipped cream and I think next time I would get it without, it was a bit too much for my taste. My boyfriend got an omelet and it was HUGE! He said it was great as well. There’s also a Blue Dolphin in St. Armand’s Circle, but there were people outside waiting where as with this one there were plenty of empty tables. I’ll totally be going back if I’m ever in the area again.

Remember to check in on Unilocal!to get discount. It is pricy! This place is intimate and friendly. And pretty pricey! We came here for breakfast. The Bennies are heavenly ! We tried the recommended granola pancakes — yummy. I like yoghurt for breakfast, but I am having a hard time understanding the proportions yoghurt/granola at most restaurants.(More granola than yoghurt) And, here I had a new experience — granola as a side sprinkled on the fruit. I really like this place, but they serve watery coffee(worse than anywhere else on my Florida trip). Being European I like my coffee strong. But still, I would go back! :) No wifi.
