Not a nice place — i left my sunglasses on the counter, went back in, maybe 5 minutes later– and they claimed they never saw them. — you know when you just know someone is lying to you?

This is our favorite pizza spot in town! Half mushroom half eggplant-garlic is my favorite pie ever. An order of garlic knots just makes your dinner over-the-top good!

I was in the area and had a craving for pizza. My friends and I decided to stop in and give this place a try. This is a small restaurant in long valley with 10 – 12 tables with black table cloths. We were immediately seated and given menus from our server. She was very friendly and helpful because the menu had so many items on it. The owner Lenny was so nice and he reminded me of one of my relatives, very Italian with a heavy Italian accent, happy and easy going. On the wall is a map of Sicily. Lenny and I had a nice conversation about Italy, he is also the chef. There is a small bar with many different imported beers and liquor. I tried a new beer I wasn’t familiar with called Marriotti it was good. The menu was varied and there are many choices to choose from including daily specials. All the favorite Italian classics and more. I was in the mood for pizza so I ordered an eggplant pizza with garlic to share. Another friend asked if they could make the meat tortellini with Alfredo sauce. Our server said yes. They were very accommodating. Our food came out promptly .The pizza smelled amazing! It had a wonderful crust and the eggplant was breaded and crispy. The sauce tasted fresh and had a good consistency. The garlic added a nice addition. The cheese was oozing. The The meat tortellini was cooked al dente and the Alfredo sauce was rich and delicious… There is some seating outside and a small parking lot. I always say u can’t judge a book by it’s cover. The outside is simple but once inside u can see the pride that is taken with each dish served. The food is really fresh and delicious. I wish I lived closer because I would be here all the time. They do have take out too. I can’t wait to return and try another dish.

Stopped in for an early lunch. The pizza was delicious and the service was fantastic. We wish we lived closer. We really enjoyed the Sicilian pizza and were surprised at the selection at the bar — we would have checked it out if it had been a bit later in the day. What a great spot!

Nice little bar and takeout areas, with about 10 tables. Try to get a window seat, the view is nice. Food was very good, service was as well, prices reasonable. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

Good pizza. I like the Sicilian best. What we like the most is that it has a full bar. Enjoy pizza and a glass of wine or a «Long Valley Iced Tea».

Nice people. Great pizza. They’ve done great meals for hubs and I and also a great party for the barn. You can’t go wrong here.

This has been our go-to pizza place for a few years, mostly because of convenience. It used to be called Salerno’s, maybe that is why there are only 2 reviews? But I did a search and didn’t find Salerno’s reviews(anymore?) so who knows. Pizza is fine, pasta dishes too. Not the best ever, not bad at all either. But I really, really love their roasted eggplant salad. We normally do take out; the restaurant is nothing too fancy, but the outside seating is a nice option.

Cornerstone makes pizza just like my dad use to make when he owned a pizzeria! Delicious sauce, plenty of cheese, and not overly doughy! Their pizza is the best in the area for sure and sometimes they have some pretty great pizza specials like 2 pies for $ 12 Sunday-Tuesday! The chicken parm sub is also very tasty! The place is a little small so we usually order pick-up, but I know they have a full bar inside that may be a plus for some customers!

We love Cornerstone’s pizza! As native new Yorkers we are very picky and until finding this place, had been very disapointed with pizza in the area. Being a small family run business, we have found them to be very friendly and helpful with special food requests as well. Love them and thie food.

No idea what Jim’s issue was, but I have to agree with Doug… this place is awesome! Especially for the area, they not only has a nice atmosphere, but decent prices and delicious food. The owner does everything in her power to make the customers happy. She even made me a special drink when I couldn’t decide what I wanted! We had 2 pasta dishes(eggplant rollatini and some chicken pasta dish) and both were delicious. Have also have their pizza and it’s the best in the area. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry, this place exceeds expectations to not only make good food, but to run efficiently and make everyone happy. And the outdoor patio in the warm weather can’t be beat!

I am surprised no one has written a review for this place yet… I guess they’re too afraid to disappoint Valley Pizza up the street. Heh. Keeping this short, been searching for decent pizza for well over a year now since moving to Chester… have tried every place in town and have been looking in Long Valley as well since it as local as Chester is to my house. Not restaurant has really wanted me to go back for pizza whatsoever, except for maybe the aforementioned Valley. Enough about them… We tried Cornerstone on a whim one night and were pleasantly surprised(Pizza was cooked well, garlic knots were fantastic… their entrees looked extremely good as well.). They have a large menu of your standard pies as well as «gourmet» pies, then there’s a whole entrée menu. Prices are more than reasonable… the staff is nice and very attentive as well. Much better than most pizza joints in the area. And they have a patio to sit outside… Just went back this past weekend and were extremely pleased with the pie we ordered(including the garlic knots, again)…Looks like I have found my new pizza place. :) (Now to convert ‘the Valley loyal’ in-laws).
