It is a miracle that this place does any business. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a marina, and my standards were already WAYYY sub-par due to the nature of the business and the location(middle keys)…Boy, was I surprised. I showed up one night shortly after closing time to inquire about storing my boat & two vehicles overnight. A young-ish woman came out onto the second-story balcony from her sliding glass door above the office. She was drinking(not knocking her for it) and it sounded like her boyfriend/husband was too, as he screamed«WE’RECLOSED!!!» so loud that I couldn’t hear what she was trying to say to me. I was told it would be $ 20/vehicle per night, and that I would be able to launch the boat at the ramp first thing in the morning. This would conclude the time I payed for and I would get the vehicles out of there and be done with it. I agreed(hesitantly, dry storage is usually $ 0.50/ft per night — this was crazy expensive but I went for it…) Well I showed up the next morning to the same woman with a nasty attitude, bickering about how much room my boat & vehicles were taking up… Uhhhh first of all, the boat and vehicles were parked in a triangle formation and taking up less room than normal(after the same woman insisted that I was parking 100% at my own risk and even mentioned my boat being stolen)…even if they were justly taking up three spaces, what the f— did I pay you for??? I was under the assumption that it was«dry storage.» Once this happened, I knew the rest of the transaction was going to be interesting. I asked her where to go to pay and she just said«the office» and walked away rudely. I entered the office only to find it empty — go figure. Walked outside thru the back door(to look for help) and was greeted — if that’s what you want to call it — by an older woman with a similar attitude. She led me inside and barked at me «DON’T PETTHEDOGSTHEYAREN’T FRIENDLY.» Ok, fair enough, I wouldn’t want to risk a lawsuit either. The woman rang me up and said $ 86 was my balance due. When I politely tried to explain what I was previously told, the young-ish woman cut me off and started yelling about how she told me otherwise and how she«would have had no reason to be unclear with you.» At this point I’m starting to get mad. I laughed at her and told her to ring me up for the $ 60 that I had agreed to and that I was going to take my stuff and leave. She rang me up and I left. Unprofessional isn’t even the word. Don’t spend your money here. The Fiesta Key RV Park is right up the street and has a small boat ramp that is cheaper to use and doesn’t come with the attitude. Both ramps offer the same access to the Gulf.

The family that runs the Seabird is wonderful. My family has watched their kids grow up and the marina improve over the years. We have kept many different boats at the marina and have always had a great experience.

Disorganized even by Keys standards. The owners son was running the place when we arrived. I think he was 10 or 11.

Boat and price were fantastic. Staff had HUGE keys attitude and were difficult to work with. Will rent from others in the future
