Parking System Plus

I’ve lived in NYC a for 7 years and for a variety of reasons (mainly a long distance relationship with a beautiful woman who’s not a New Yorker) end up with a car in the city to park.
Rating a parking lot is a bit unusual, I would say, but here’s the truth: I’ve parked in dozens of lots around Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, and the gentlemen who work here have treated me with the more respect and courtesy than I’ve seen anywhere else in the city. Lot attendants tend to be curt and often rude. They park carelessly and try to nail you with extra costs as much as they can. I wouldn’t call this lot the best deal, but it’s more than worth it to pay for dealing with guys who are competent, professional and willing to help out however they can.
For example, I needed to grab some thing out of my car — the attendant helps me get it out. The locked back gate would be marginally more convenient for me to exit from? No worries, he came running to open it up.
I’d give 6 stars if I could. I had always thought of parking ones car as a necessary pain to be dealt
with. These guys showed me that in fact running a lot can feel like a place where you’re taken care of and treated like a respectable human being, where there’s actually a difference to be made by working hard and going out of your way to make a customer feel well-​treated. Major kudos. I will continue parking my car here whenever I need to.
