I was at the Greater Astoria Historical Society last night participating in an event as a panelist. I represented the long time resident of Astoria, NY. I spoke of my experience in living in this wonderful community.
I will admit, in my 39 years of living in Astoria, I have never been to the GAHS. I am ashamed (bowing head in shame). It was such a pleasant surprise and a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to go back and take my 6 year old son. He is going to love the artifacts and maps.
