Flux Factory is a nice place to come to an event. The events themselves vary greatly from small cliquish gatherings to larger soirees with potluck and workshop. I’ve seen some very strange events and presentations there (the fake it till you make it fame panel) which while, odd and arguably unsuccessful, are nonetheless entertaining and thought provoking. Truly an artists enclave with some sturdy corporate financial backing. Most of the events are free though and the people at the potlucks are very friendly and cool.
