Always a pleasure. I went to another event here and all of the appetizers and drinks were delicious. The sangria was yummy and all of the drinks were great! The art work by the current artist is stunning. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to return with friends. Ps: There is a shuttle hat will pick you up from queens train station.

I came here on a whim to catch up with a hs friend, the steak and eggs benedict brunch special was so good! Crescent grill is a farm to table restaurant with a bar in the front and a very cozy dining room in the back. Our table thoroughly enjoyed the food, and we got free refills on our coffee at least 5 – 6 times. We ended up staying after they took our plates for 2 more hours. The service was exceptional and I would have given one more star but I had asked the waitress for private event info and she was super helpful in asking the owner/manager to come up to speak to me. The owner said she will email me the info so I left my email with the waitress as instructed. To this day, I have not recieved any emails, maybe they don’t want to do private events. I am a bit disappointed since I was really considering using their services.

I ate dinner here tonight because it was highly rated on the Unilocal app. The food and service were good, but the restaurant has two fundamental flaws: (1) the starting price for a plate is around $ 30. There are cheaper dishes, but they appeared inferior. One had salmon with a vanilla sauce, which sounded like an undesirable combination. (2) the dish was highly insubstantial. I ordered the monkfish plate. It had about 3 ounces of monkfish, a dash of flavored potatoes or a squash, some greens and apple slices. All and all, the content was probably 600 kcal, which was 50−60% of the size I would desire and expect. Now as I mentioned, the quality of the food and service were good, but it’s possible to find this for around half the price elsewhere.

We went here last night, and had the best time! The food was spectacular, the sweet potatoes are to die for. The customer service was the best I’ve seen in years! They even have a free shuttle that takes you to your door step. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Enjoyed a wonderful brunch here. They start you off with a delicious bread basket with muffins and other pastries which were all moist and not too filling. Everyone I was with loved the food. The place was empty because the area is a little less populated than other brunch spots in LIC. I hope that this place gets more crowded as the area builds up because they deserve to be a new staple brunch spot in the neighborhood. Nearby is the LIC Beer Project Brewery so for those who are interested in having an LIC fun day I recommend starting off with brunch at Crescent Grill and then heading to LIC Beer Project after!

Wow… yet again. 5⁄5 stars. We love this place. The service, the food, the ambiance, we are excited to have a place like this in LIC/Astoria! Check out their dessert menu(see pix) where you’ll see that the have Johnny Walker Blue for $ 40 a glass. Oh, yes its a fancy place, but definitely on the casual side. Another cool touch is that they have a free car service that will pick you up if you live in the area and take you back home after your great meal… for gratis. See! These are all reasons why this is easily one of the best places for breakfast, brunch and dinner in all of Queens and certainly rivals cool places in Manhattan. See you there!

Nice ambience. Came here with a friend last night upon arriving the place was pretty empty. Not only is this a restaurant it is also a art gallery. Everything here is freshly made and made to order. The bread was delicious the butter was just Mead and also tasty. We went with a bottle of Merlot and it was really good although pricey. We decide to get appetizers instead of countries because their entrée list is pretty limited so we got the foie gras(was my first time tasting) and the shredded duck salad. I much preferred to foie gras over the duck salad. Despite my friend making fun of me I really enjoyed the foie gras. it takes some time getting used to but it was really tasty so I’ll have to try again. Our waitress was very informative and really on spot! They also have free shuttle services so use it!

I love this place! Every time when I stay in Long Island City for the weekend, I love visiting Crescent Grill for Sunday brunch. The menu is small, but precise and to the point. I usually get the BTL(which is a huge sandwich with 2 fried eggs and lots of bacon) on a long ciabatta bread and it comes with fries or home fries. The service is not always great, sometimes our waitress is slow/forgets to bring out milk for the coffee, etc. and sometimes the kitchen is messing up(I’ve had both experiences). Food’s good and the place is like a small art gallery, so it’s all good at the end!

I’ve been here for dinner four times. I really want to give them a better rating but… I can’t. 1st time — it took two hours to get the food we ordered. It was just two entrees. Apparently a party of 20 came in and they were sorely understaffed. I doubt they were a walk in although it could happen. But… two hours? Having said that, I had the duck and it was incredibly good. The owner came out and did his spiel on the restaurant and the farms they use and bought us a round of wine for the wait. I didn’t mind bc the food was really good and I had a lot of wine. Like, a lot. 2nd time — apps and entrée were decent but not very memorable beyond the bill. 3rd time — dinner again. The fish was not fresh. And it wasn’t cooked all the way through. We ordered desert and didn’t finish it… no bueno. The veggies tasted a little old. The prices are way too high for this. 4th and final time — we were one of the few people in here. The service wasn’t great — we were rushed, they kept trying to take our plates before we even finished eating. The place was pretty empty so it’s not like they needed the table. Had the chicken, which was pretty decent although salty, but again, another badly cooked fish and the sides were both bland and just off tasting. I’m not impressed. If it was less expensive maybe I wouldn’t care. But they say they care about the quality of their food and I just don’t see it. Don’t think I’ll be back.

We’ve tried Crescent Grill twice — the first time was because of the reviews, and it was horrible. Service was lackadaisical and the food was«wannabe gourmet.» Next trip to Queens, we read the reviews again and said, «Maybe we hit it on a bad day.» Well, we had another bad day. Both times we were early diners(6:30 p.m.) so maybe they save the best for later. We’ll probably give it another try next trip — but 3 strikes? They’ll be out.

BESTBRUNCHAROUND. The food here is absolutely delicious and probably one of if not the best brunch I’ve had in NYC. The food was DELICIOUS and extremely fresh. I had the lobster omelet with potatoes and it was jaw droopingly great. I have a bunch of food allergies and intolerances and the kitchen fully accommodated me with no problem. They serve you complimentary specialty rolls which I unfortunately had to pass on but the food and drinks Long surpassed my expectations. They over a 2 hour $ 20 all you can drink mimosas or bellinis(both might I add are excellent). We will definitely be back!!!

You not only get a great ambience, but also great service. If you order Salmon Eggs Benedict with Fries, then your brunch experience is complete. I also ordered banana bread French toast? But I wasn’t feeling well and only had two bites of it, so I can’t truly speak how good/bad it was. However, for eggs Benedict & fries– I indeed finished the whole dish :) strongly recommend.

I was a bit disappointed with my visit to the Crescent Grill, and found it very hard to understand how it was rated so high. It’s not terrible, but it’s trendy, expensive, and the food was not what I would expect from a high rated restaurant on a Friday night. I just didn’t see the money being worth it with so many other great options out there. There are some high points to Crescent Grill, such as the décor and drink menu. The bar is a nice little set up too with a great selection of local beers. The bar tenders is very friendly, and will give you a recommendation on drinks and let you try a small sample. try showing up early if you decide to come here and striking up a conversation and trying the drinks before you dinner. The food did not meet my expectations. in my opinion, the food was overly artsy, small portioned, overly priced and just not very good. I had the crab corn soup as an appetizer and the salmon as a entrée, and both were unappealing to me. The crab corn soup was extremely disappointing. It came out in a two service setting with a pile of the soup’s middles in a bowl, and the server poured the broth over the middles in-front of me. I liked the presentation, and while it tasted good, I could not see or feel any crab meat in the middles. I couldn’t enjoy the soup without the clumps of meat, it became a distraction for me as i thought about its price point and the lack of meat. I had the Salmon with a side of broccoli barb as my entrée. The salmon was an extremely small portion for me, but it was flavored well. The dish was ruined by the broccoli barb, which was dressed in a horse radish sour cream sauce. The bitterness from the broccoli barb with the horseradish sauce was just not a good pairing, and I couldn’t eat it after several bites. I love broccoli barb, and in my opinion, this was the worst adaptation on it that I have ever tried. I would recommend dropping the horse radish dressing and use some sort of olive oil, garlic, and rosemary infusion. The service was decent for the majority of my party, but dinner was not brought out all at the same time. The server kept my drink full for most of the night, but he did slack a little towards the end. I wasn’t certain if it was because he had too many tables or if he just didn’t see my drink being empty. I would encourage a little bit of attention to this area of service, and looking into why tables aren’t served all at once. I found Crescent Grill to be a nice place for a date if you want to get to know someone and don’t care very much about food; it has a great ambiance for a first date. But, I would not recommend it to Foodies and/or parties from this experience.

Let me start by saying that I was very excited to try and support this local business; however I could not have left more disappointed. I really think this place is trying too hard to be «local and organic» so much so that they are totally missing the mark and doing so at the customers expense(literally). I don’t mind paying for what I consider good food but this was a total let down. We had to return not one but two appetizers. The Cesar salad tasted totally rancid. The«soup» was more of a salad with dressing on it topped with foam which always makes me nauseous as it looks like someone has spit up on top. Anyways– the waitress(who spilled a drink on the couple across from us before serving) explained they like to «garnish» their soup– total joke so beware when ordering soup that it’s moreso salad with extra dressing. The entrée salmon was nothing special as was the steak. I made the mistake of trying the steak with a garlic sauce provided on the side which ended up completely overwhelming my palate so that I could no longer enjoy the meal. I still can’t get rid of the garlic taste and it’s hours later. Oh well– count this as a loss and move on but beware– DONT believe the hype! Honestly– my husband and I grabbed burgers afterward that were delicious and satisfied us more– no joke. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Came here with a party of 10 for Saturday brunch around 1 pm. The staff was very welcoming and amiable. I got the duck confit dish with unlimited drinks(17) and my bf got the crescent burger. My duck dish was delicious; savory, light, and satisfying(portion was small though) while the crescent burger was ok. Our experience here was good but don’t think it was worth the drive out to Long Island city and I think It is a little overpriced for brunch. Most brunch places have a deal of a complimentary drink with your brunch entrée. There are cheaper and better brunch places around Astoria. Overall, I appreciated the attentive staff service.

Great location for brunch, food is always on point. Haven’t had other meals here yet only the bar menu. They have an unlimited drinks option with brunch and you have a choice between several drinks. Who doesn’t like boozy brunch? The place is a little out of the way but the awesome thing is that they offer free car service for you to and from your meal! I have yet to try it since I live so close but it seems like a good idea :) Their french toast is super light and yummy. I normally hate sweet foods because I get sick of them really easily but the French toast is light, almost cake like and great! I’ve been a couple times and have yet to be disappointed by the food. Everything is farm to table I believe. I’ve tried the brunch steak, and some fish. Have also stopped by for some drinks at the bar and bar bites. Staff here is super friendly too! Spread the word, I would hate for a good neighborhood restaurant to die because it is a little out of the way and not well known!

This part of LIC is sketchy as hell but wow this restaurant is like Manhattan fine dining in the hood! I am actually glad for this because maybe rent is cheap and thus their menu prices are very very fair for what you get. I had the carrots and arugula salad… I can’t believe how amazing they made carrots taste here. There were roasted carrots, carrot purree, roasted onions, nuts… Mmm so good for a salad really amuses the tastes buds. Great way to get your veggies in!($ 10) good portion size. I had their new organic chicken dish which was a lean cut of chicken breast(nice big cut!) with a carrot/hint of curry purree, open face ravioli(mad salty), and this strange vegetable mushroom thing with some asian looking greens. That’s a terrible description but HEY that’s what it looked like to me haha. Their presentation for the dishes is nice and all Manhattan style fancy fancy so it all looks good and most importantly, taste good too. The chicken entrée was $ 20 and that was very well worth it. I couldn’t even finish my dish! It was very tasty, flavorful moist chicken, crispy skin. Tried a bit of the pork chop(?) in bone over black beans. Sauce Reminded me of this spanish sweet bean sauce(mole?). It’s a nice chunk of meat, not bad but I prefer my chicken dish :) Desserts($ 10 average) were on the unique side. Decided on the coconut cake with ice cream, over a tart citrus sauce with grapefruit. Man that cake was so hard but surprisingly went well with everything else– Overall Impressed with the execution of the food. Amazing coconut ice cream… Just enjoyable to try! Their menu is small, but they offer one version of every protein basically. I think my server was new and wasn’t super award winning waiter but nonetheless attentive and kind. Love the décor… Love the small gallery in front. Lots of seating for groups and seemed kind of empty actually for weekend prime dining time. Great option for a special occasion without murdering your wallet or even casual date night. There was a swanky looking bar too separated from the main dining area. I will definitely be back!!!

Sometimes the ‘Where should we go?’ ‘I don’t know, but this place has a good rating on Unilocal’ works like a charm. Looking for a quick brunch in LIC the Unilocal app brought us to Crescent Grill for brunch. The actual brunch menu is of decent size, around 11 offerings, so there’s something for everyone. My order of eggs benny was legit. Some greens, fried potatoes, and a poached egg on top of ham(I pass on hollandaise). Perfecto. Although we didn’t take advantage of it, the $ 15 unlimited mimosas and bloody mary brunch special is a steal. There is some fun art on the walls and a small gallery immediately to your right when you walk in. Should you have to wait for a table, passing time isn’t a problem. Do it. Protip: as per their website, they have a FREE personal shuttle both to and from and t

This is a neighborhood gem for Long Island City. I came here for Saturday brunch. The entrees were deliciously prepared — nothing out of the world — but just delicious, plain and simple. The all-you-can-drink brunch special is a bargain at $ 15. The restaurant provides shuttle service for those who live close by and are too lazy to walk 2 blocks but also for those who live a little farther away. The staff and owner exhibit such gracious warmth that keep you wanting to come back for more. All-in-all a thumbs up experience.
