I don’t ever leave reviews, but I need this place to stay open! This is the best casual Mexican food I have had outside of Texas. People are real friendly, everything is fresh, hibiscus iced tea is awesome! Skip surf taco and come here. Prices are great too.

This place is simply great. Authentic, fresh ingredients and dishes prepared with love. Very sweet owners who clearly work hard to give everyone a welcoming, delicious experience. I’ve come here for a laid back date with my guy, and I’ve come here with the whole family and it’s a win-win in both circumstances. I don’t understand why this place isn’t jam-packed every night… I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before it is. It’s BYOB — which is great. At the end of your meal, you can get tape-on mustaches which has everyone erupting in giggles and taking pictures. This place is the real deal. Come for the food, be treated like family — and come back again and again for the food and service. Salsa is super yummy. Note: This is real mexican food, so don’t order the burrito if you’re expecting a Chipotle burrito… it’s far more straightforward than that. The hibiscus iced tea is delicious, we order it by the carafe. Sopas are out of this world. For dessert, the tres leches cake is outstanding, as are the sopaipillas.

Heard the music walking passed this place and knew I had to try it. Authentic Mexican food. Very nice employees, I was the only customer but this place should be packed. Food was excellent, very fresh ingredients. Chicken quesadilla and empanadas were on point.

I don’t think there’s an authentic Mexican restaurant in Long Branch that I have not eaten at in the last ten+ years. I had to take the time to call attention to Bigotes, which means mustache in Spanish. The owner and his wife are sweet and clearly working hard to offer clean, fresh, reasonably priced Mexican food. I ordered Nachos al Pastore and he went out of his way to include fresh pineapple. It was excellent! I highly recommend this little West End nugget.

Honestly this place is a HIDDENGEM! I’ve lived in long branch for nearly half a year and had yet to stumble into this place. I cannot stress enough — the food is VERY fresh and you can tell everything is made from scratch using unique and delicious recipes. The chimichanga I had was genuinely one of the best… following the tomatillo and chipotle salsa that was absolutely to die for. I know El Rancho gets the best reputation around here, but I genuinely found my meal here to be superior. To top it all off, the best Tres Leches I’ve ever had. Even the COFFEE was great! Genuinely an amazing place with a kind and helpful staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. Be sure to stop in as it doesn’t seem like they’ve gotten as much business as they deserve!

Great discovery! We read about it in the local paper and gave it a try. Cute restaurant with outdoor seating as well. Great food… fresh, health and very tasty. I had chicken with Mole, honestly, the best I have ever had. Great black beans too! Very reasonable prices and easy parking. A really friendly and appreciative family owned and operated restaurant. TOTALLY worth checking out!
