Great stop — one of the best cheese steak sandwich’s in the area. Good selection of tap beers.

This is definitely my favorite place. I can’t get enough from the buffalo wings and waffle fries, best thing ever! I will definitely recommend it. You should go and eat there, I am sure you will love it. Very cheap and nice place.

I have to say, I always liked this place, but going there on a slow night was awesome! Food & beer are always above average for the genre but on a slow night we found some of the bartenders we normally see were a lot more personable. Think I’ll give up the Friday nights for the mid week for now on.

I’ve probably been to Jacks maybe eight times but have never reviewed it. I’ve had good and service in the past, but last night(Wednesday) the service was phenomenal. More about that later. To my knowledge their beer selection is the second largest in the county next to Maloneys with ales and lagers of all types apropos for the season. While the service may vary their high beer count doesn’t. For a great beer joint you would expect the food to be mediocre to good, but their food has never let me down. Haven’t had anything that wasn’t very good yet. The wings are great. Haven’t tried the ribs but others I’ve talked to say they are very good. The sandwiches are good too, but for me I love their pizzas. They always come out hot with a nice crisp crust. Last night I had a white spinach pie that excelled. My wife had the chicken nachos that were probably too big for two people to eat. They too were excellent. I know some people don’t like to sit at a bar and have dinner. I don’t know if that’s because there isn’t enough room or what, but you definitely get the best service there. Among other things you don’t have to wait for your wait person. The bartender is usually a few feet away. My wife and I sat at the bar where our two bartenders couldn’t do enough for us. Brian and Mike were courteous, friendly, funny, and quite attentive. They provided information about the beers and suggestions according to our tastes. They offered us plenty of samples of beer and seemed more than happy to do it. I realize that had it been a Friday night when the bar staff were mobbed, it would have been impossible for them to spend the time with us that they did. But this review is about last night and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Was not expecting the food to be so good. The wall to wall tv screens with international sport and huge arcade type game stations suggested careless food preparation; the opposite was true. Also a fine choice of beers.

Great place for wings, beer, and sports games. Huge selection of beers. Great wings and ribs. My favorite wings are the garlic ones. Highly recommend them. Place also has cork dart boards and several arcade games as well.

Great wings. Went with a friend on Friday night about 10pm. Place was crowded. We had to seat ourselves after being greeted at the door. The young lady got up from her table of friends and pointed«you can sit over there». So we asked the people next to us if we could have their menus when they were finished. We had to get up and go to the bar to order. Not a big deal, we were sitting right next to the bar. Waited about four minutes for a bartender to make I contact, there were five of them. Finally ordered, and wings came out right away. Served to the table. I ordered the teriyaki, and they were a little salty but not bad. My friend had the barbecue and they were very sweet and good. Not a bad price, 995 for a dozen wings. It was so loud in there, very difficult to have conversation. But I get it, it’s a bar. Probably not going back there.

Had the pleasure of hanging at Jacks for a little Sunday Football fun. Arrived around 12:30 for the 1pm game and the bars were already packed. We were lucky enough to get a table in the back of the restaurant near a tv showing the game we wanted to watch. The perimeter of this place is literally lined with flat screened tvs. Awesome. Enjoyed watching the game here. Sunday’s Jacks offers $ 5 wings — got three orders. BBQ and garlic… really good. A lot of drumsticks! Guacamole and chips decent, not sure it was fresh though. Needed salt, lime juice, cilantro and onion –but still finished it… wish they used fresh salsa. Pizza was also $ 5 and was good as well… Our waitress Gabby was pleasant and accomadating.

So I come here A LOT and every single time I have the same exact experience — the bartenders are great, the food is good, drinks are fairly priced and decent, but the waitress service is AWFUL! I was seated the other night and waited a FULLTWENTYMINUTES for the server to come over! That’s insane. That’s not even the worst that’s happened– there was one time I actually walked out because no one EVER came over — and I live 30 minutes away so I was upset about that. It’s always impossible to find your server again after your food is delivered so ask for anything and everything you could possibly need while you can. Overall I really love Jacks, their wings, their awesome selection of fruity beers and cheap drinks. But their wait staff needs to be retrained and they need to hire a few extra people to speed up service.

Typical sports bar atmosphere, lots of tv’s, etc. Had the garlic wings which were extremely tasty, a jersey burger which was also excellent and the personal pie which was delicious, thin crusted and quite large for one adult. We will definitely return.

I’ve been coming to Jack’s since 2007 and have always been a fan. I stopped in yesterday with a friend to grab a bite and a drink. They have a large selection of beers on draft, which is great until you can’t make up your mind, not a bad problem to have! We ordered the Fried Ravioli to share and it was delicious! They were perfectly friend and the sauce was very flavorful. The bar staff is very friendly and service is just as good. I will definitely return!

What else is there to say about Jack’s Goal Line Stand? These guys do it right. I have never had a bad beer, there, never had a bad meal there, and have never had a bad time there, ever. Tuesday’s is College Night, $ 2 Bud Lights, and Wednesday is Pint Night, with $ 3 pints of anything on tap, and let me tell you, there’s a TON of beers on tap(just check in with the bartender to see if the beers with the higher alcohol content is $ 3 to be safe). And Sunday is Industry Night, 25% off the tab, and it’s not surprising to see bartenders from all over the Shore popping in. Happy Hour is 4 – 7 during the week and is a godsend as a former college student, with $ 1 mugs of Budweiser/Bud Light, 50 cent wings, and $ 5 bar pies. Best Happy Hour around. Now for the food, the Goal Line Stand burger, which is a healthy patty topped with provolone cheese, a generous onion loaf, and horseradish to keep you on your feet. Probably the best thing on the menu. There’s a Goal Line Stand Sandwich is all those toppings upon sliced steak, which may seem daunting but is just as fantastic. The spicy, cheesy Goal Line Fries are a sight to behold as well. And all of these are within reasonable prices! Jacks is a place with a lot of memories for myself. From homecomings, to my 21st birthday, to the karaōke nights where I embarrassed myself in front of everybody with a couple of friends singing, Jacks Goal Line Stand is hands down, the best place on the Jersey Shore to grab a pint, eat some grub, watch a game, and then go to the beach(in whatever order). As a cab driver who probably had no business knowing what this pace was in a completely different part of the shore once told me, «Jacks is the spot!»

I just moved here and scoped out the local bars. This one is my favorite for several reasons: 1. I’m a sports junkie. They have Soooo many TV’s! 2. Wings. Their wings are top notch. During happy hour, they’re $ 0.50! I ordered 6,.but I’m wishing I’d have ordered way more. 3. I dig good service. All the staff I’ve encountered have been pretty awesome. 4. Interesting crowd. I was skeptical because I heard it was a «college bar.» It’s sort of true and I imagine it gets packed during the normal academic year, but there’s otherwise a nice mix of people – old, young, guy, girl, beer drinkers, booze drinkers, regulars and non-regulars. Overall, this place is fun and vibrant. I’ll update later if it starts to suck. LOL

Baby back ribs consistently delicious. Fall off bone. Smoky. The XL rib lovers delight with all fries is my favorite so far. Over 30 beers to offer. Have one while you wait for to go order. Never dined inside but always a packed place. Tons of TV.

Awesome bar. Thousands of TVs. Ribs are delicious and the Chicken Italia sandwich is just as awesome. Go for happy hour. $ 7 pitchers or $ 1 pints of Budlite. Ambiance is your typical sports bar. A little more old school with wood. Arcade games are located in the back room… Yeah, this place is pretty huge compared to other bars in the neighborhood. Bartenders are all friendly and alert. All in all, this is a great place to spend time with the boys for some sports, a few beers and some food to fill that hunger of yours.

A good bar must have character and Jack’s doesn’t lack in that department. Offering up a nice compliment of decent food and diverse crowd it’s worth a pop in. Two big bars. An unbelievably large selection of draft beers that’ll keep you sampling. They supply a descriptive menu for the draft beer selections. Plenty of bar munchies & typical bar grub along w/bbq options and Mexican. The food is priced well as are the drinks. Local crew by day with an interesting mix of middle aged professionals eating along side blue collars. At night college kids pour in full steam ahead to see live bands and babes. Nice feel and worthy of your business.
