Zoey’s Place Rescue

I adopted my kitten in June. I was so impressed with how knowledgeable Aurelie and Jen were. We named our cat Zoey too, she is perfect. It is clear she has been well cared for and loved. This is a top notch rescue and I’d highly recommend them.

My partner and I stumbled upon Aurelie and Zoey’s Place Rescue during a NKLA adoption event, and were struck by their depth of knowledge and care for their kitties. After talking to Aurelie about what kind of cat we were looking for, we found Gwen — now Grace Kelly (yes, after the actress!) — and immediately fell in love. We filled out an application, and the next weekday we were scheduled for a home visit. Soon, we were on our way to formalizing the adoption.
It was reassuring to us that Zoey’s Place Rescue has a multi-​step adoption process — both of us really respect this, and think it’s important when finding pets their perfect forever homes. Once everything was official, we were presented with a packet of adoption information containing all of Grace’s paperwork. Aurelie even included a special toy that is tough to find.
Grace’s foster mom, Jennifer, was gracious and helpful, answering all of our questions and giving us the best tips! She sat with us so that Grace felt comfortable, which was so helpful. We highly recommend this rescue organization and plan to stay connected with them for many many years to come!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Aurelie and Zoey’s Place Rescue. We adopted sweet Leo when he was ~3 months old to be a baby brother to our older cat. We were nervous about whether or not the two cats would get along. Aurelie was very patient and knowledgeable. She provided us with a folder with all of Leo’s medical history, as well as his likes, etc. She also included a printout with tips on how to introduce a new cat into the home, so clearly, these were tips that were tailored for our family. Aurelie also provided several references for a specialty vet for our older cat, who had some skin issues that no vet to date had been able to solve. After the adoption, Aurelie kept in touch with us to check in about both of our cats. It is very obvious that she cares very deeply for the cats and their long-​term well-​being. I highly recommend adopting a cat from Zoey’s Place– Aurelie is NOT just about getting cats adopted and then that’s it. She cares about finding you the right fit for your family so that both you and the cat can live happily ever after together.

Zoey’s rescue place is filled with noting but love and care for every cat they rescue. I admire there work because they give all cars a voice. Anybody who wants to adopt make sure to Coke to Zoey’s place because they use their funds towards to helping all the cats they rescue I definitely recommend Zoey’s place and also donate something to their fundraiser! A little goes a long way. Thank you Zoey’s place for helping my little guy also!

Currently volunteering with zoey’s place rescue. You can’t find better cared for or more loved cats anywhere. All cats are socialized with each other so there are better chances of them getting along if you already own cats. All around great rescue created by a very caring woman.

Last fall, my husband and I adopted our two kitties (a brother and sister) from Zoey’s Place Rescue. They arrived to us in impeccable physical health, and very well behaved/​socialized. We were also given a super helpful dossier on each of them, including kitten pictures, tips on how to bond with each (tailored to the individual cat’s personality and preferences), their diet history, and details about their birth (as they had been born into rescue). Aurelie, the group’s founder, was patient, flexible, and communicative with us throughout the week preceding the adoption. Over the past year, Aurelie has continued to reach out for status updates. It is clear that she truly cares about what she does; she brings a professional attention to detail that is rare among often-​overburdened rescue groups.
