Pretty cool dive bar. Beer was cold as ice which was perf. Cash only bar. They have a couple pool tables which is pretty entertaining.

My favorite dive bar in all of long beach. Cold cheap beers on tap. It’s cheaper if you buy a pitcher then the scooner. Food is on point, freshly made.

Beer selection was good and cold.
Actually the food was OK but don’t add avocado to your burger because you wont see it or taste it. I was told it was on the bottom.
Bathroom was disgusting. And out of soap. If the cook uses the same bathroom, which he probably does, I would worry.

Good place to come to for beer. Food is alright if you like bar good. Loud environment cause of the jukebox and people talking really loud. But in all a good place to come to with friend. Better to come on the Thursday-​Sunday

It use to be a cool place. Couple of things changed. The music they play at times. Last time this little wanna be hustler try to play me (pool)for money. Im not dumb. being a heavy gambler i let my buddy handle him. Of course he lost n I was close to knocking his lights out haha. lucky my buddy held me back. Mondays or Tuesday’s youll see him play pool. Black hat black shit n pants. And the hanging comdom was that cool lol.

Kind of a grimy dive bar but the $ 1.25 tacos on Tuesdays are awesome! Full of favor and cheap!

Cool little place to hang out and play some pool. The food is decent, the beer is nice and cold. I would come back on a night that I just want to hang out and be mellow.

Typical drive bar, great bar food. Only complaint is that they only accept cash. Other than that, great place to come grab a cold beer and good food !

Low key spot with small beer selection but we had a good time playing pool. We had nachos and burgers and they were surprisingly good. The workers here are cool too.

Cool dive bar to go for a chill time. I came with friends just to grab a brew and the beer was nice and cold. Got hungry and grabbed some grub as well. For a small bar, the food is decent and filling at a small cost.
I recommend this bar if you’re in the Long Beach City college area looking to grab a nice cold beer and relax.

Thirsty isle, best hole in the wall ever! Not pricey at all everyone is friendly. Schooners will get you feeling right and happy haha! No but seriously if you haven’t checked out this place do it tonight because it’s just a great place. Parking sucks but besides that the place is great pool tables music tvs shuffle board it’s just perfect.

Worst place ever. Looks run down like if we were in a zombie apocalypse. So dark. The waitress was nice. We got our food. That after we stood at their food door while the man was there. We had to ask is this where we get our food. He said yes. We stood some more. Ok, can we order. That’s when he took our order. Hot dogs and fries and their famous ice cold beer. Beer was good. Food not. I will accept the dogs but frys were raw. We asked well done. The food service was not good alway. The male had no personally what so ever. When we got the food we sent them back. He takes our fries to the waitress and said «I don’t understand, they said well done but they’re telling me they are not“she tried some fries and said» I think they are good but make them a new batch”. Looking upset he did. He came back. Gave them and left. Still raw and looked burned. I know bad oil when I see it. Now I’m upset. I drank my beer. Part of my dog I ate and left the fries. I’ve been to many great places, great deals worth great beer and food with no lip on how we want our food. We paid for it! Over all the place matched that crappy food and service. I’d give a «D+”/“D». That’s because of the beer. Other than that. Was a waste of time there. I don’t do dive bars much. I’m not high maintenance but I’m not eating trash nor will I sit in it.

Glory Days is my place until they decide to improve things here. Not gonna hold my breath though. How hard is it to get a beer bar right? Until I try again in a few months…

Really dirty place, cash only, if a customer has an food issue it will not get resolved and the bathroom is similar to an army outhouse.

Well, this pretentious idiot didn’t want anything fancy, I just don’t want tetanus either.
Do yourself a favor and update your immunizations before coming in here because it’s DIRTY.
Some people apparently think this place is heaven on earth. Hey, to each their own. If you like hanging out in your garage drinking beers you’ll like this place, although i would say the interior in my garage is nicer.
It does have:
1. Beer (duh, it’s a bar)
2. Old jacked up pool tables
Only pro: bartenders are nice.

Hit this spot after the Veterans flea market had a rad time. I’m a burger chick so naturally ordered one. Super impressed by the man owning the kitchen, food arrived with keen timing. I was satisfied, also the bartender was very attentive.
Didn’t play pool and ladies the restroom on the left near back lot is much better. The only thing that’s was less than positive was the music selection. There were some songs playing that made me a little sour. Overall this dive is worth checking out!

The guy who makes food is nice, but doesn’t listen to your order, so likely you won’t get what you wanted.
Not certain why I ended up here to be honest.

My boyfriend and I use to come every Friday after work. We would get wings, tacos and mozzarella sticks with beers. We took a break and came back today. o.m.g. horrible!!! This place has gone DOWN HILL. The wings seemed like they were not cooked all the way and had no flavor. The mozzarella sticks were not done, the cheese in the middle was stiff. The carne asada tacos: meat tasted old, dry, bland and reheated. The cook came out with our food about 5 minutes later. Really? Its not even busy, why are you rushing? We spent $ 17 and now I feel like puking. We noticed its a different cook from the last time we were here. Sorry thirsty isle, we won’t be coming back and we’re warning friends. Clean up your act! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I rarely like to write negative reviews but I’ll be honest. it looked like people were having a good time but I wasn’t. Place was not the cleanest but not too dirty… I had beer even though I’m not a beer drinker. Beer was cold, priced okay, food was so so.
Someone recommended this place to me, I guess opinions vary but not for me, I won’t be back.
