The Dry Cleaners

I took in a suit and two ties to be cleaned. They said it would be ready on Friday which was five or six days. I went in on Saturday to pick up my clothes.
Nothing was ready. They still had to bag up the suit and one of my ties was not even there. I had to wait for someone to bring my tie from their other store. When she arrived she was holding my tie bunched up in her hand. When I checked the tie it had a crease in it from improper steam pressing.
My suit had the stain that I had asked them to remove as well as some crusty food that I had asked them to clean which they marked with their tape.
Overall I believe they simply pressed my clothes and did not clean them.
They also attempted to charge me full price until finally they compromised and I ended up paying them five dollars. I will never go here again and I will tell my friends to never go there.
If you go there you are dumb and probably don’t like your clothes or yourself very much.

I’ve been doing business with this dry cleaner for over a decade. I always have my shirts laundered. Twice out of my last three times there they have dry cleaned when that was not requested. Another time a mid teen age boy overcharged and I recd a credit. When I complained today about dry cleaning when not requested the cashier had an attitude of not caring. I think they are dry cleaning on purpose as dry cleaning is more expensive than laundered shirts.

First, I am upset I even have to give this place one star. I would give them nothing if I had that option. I have never written a review for a business before, but I got such a bad service from this business that I absolutely had to write a review. I took in 9items to be dry cleaned. Basic work dresses and suits that I use for work. When I went to pick them up, they looked good in the plastic bags, well ironed and all. I took them home. Next morning, I tried to wear one of the dresses and noticed stains around the arm area. I tried to look closer, then the stale smell of my perfume, deodorant and sweat hit me, I was shocked! I went through every single item and they all smelt like they just came out of my dirty laundry bag! Naturally I was pissed off. I took them back when I got back from work that day and explained the problem. I showed them the stains and even the stale odor. I went back few days later to pick pick them up. This time, I was smart enough to rip off those damn plastic bags and smell the clothes, they smelt exactly the same! Complete with the stains. Now I have had these dresses and suits dry cleaned before, and have never experienced this, so I got on the phone with the owner and explained that I didn’t want to be difficult, but I have never had such experience before and I simply wanted a refund so I can take it to my old cleaners on Broadway who always returned my clothes clean and smelling fresh. They refused to refund my money and instead asked me to wear the clothes as they were, dirty and all, and bring them back so they can clean it for free again. Now why would I want that?! She argued with me on the phone until I just decided to accept half of my money back and leave because it wasn’t worry the energy. So be warned about this place. Worst experience ever! First time I went there and will definitely be my last. Now I have a bunch of dirty stale clothes that I have to go and have another dry cleaner clean and pay extra.

This is a great neighborhood cleaners with friendly service.
Amazing hours — open weekdays 7 AM — 7 PM leaving plenty of time before and after work to swing by. Also open on Saturdays.
Great prices! The pea coat I got dry cleaned cost $ 7 and an additional $ 1 to sew a button on that fell off for a total of $ 8.

Very nice ladies that will pretty much sew, clean or hem anything you bring to them at reasonable prices and within a reasonable time.

The ladies that work here are so cute! They are super nice but are a bit soft spoken so its kind of difficult to hear/​understand what they are saying sometimes. Got 2 dresses cleaned for $ 12. They close later than some of the other spots in the area too (7pm every night except sat, theyre closed sun). They seem to get a lot of business doing alterations so i’m considering bringing in some stuff for them to do, stay tuned!

I have been going to this dry cleaners for years and have never had a problem or a complaint. They give me exactly what I ask for, it’s never a hassle and their prices are reasonable. What more can you ask for?

Holly is back after 5 months. She’s the best, she’s the boss. The Dry Cleaners does do a good job of dry cleaning my stuff. Good prices too. Oh and the Wifey and I lost weight and Holly adjusted about 10 pants etc… Great job!
