Spent 36 dollars(before tip) on an alcohol drink, a lemonade, two sides of mash potatoes, a side of mushrooms, and a bowl of chili. The drinks were the only«edible» thing. Super disappointed. 2 stars for the server.

The food was excellent. The portions were terrible. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. Be prepared to eat mostly potatoes, but not a lot because they don’t give you that much to begin with. My bf had the fish and chips. That was good. They give you big pieces. The service was ok. The server seemed as if she was having a terrible morning. If she did she didnt try to hide, or maybe she just had a bad personality. who knows.

So, we got the kids on the bikes and headed to Shoreline Village. Recalling the previous positive experience, we decided to hit up Shenanigans. Boy, what a downer. The only seating available was the back patio, which was bumping club music. Not what you expect from an Irish place, but figured loud is good when you have two small kids. It was seat yourself and it took a awhile to get some service. In fact, tables that arrived after us got attention and drinks before we did. I later noticed that the one girl working the patio(which had about 5 – 6 active tables) was also bartending. They were clearly understaffed for the crowd. We had to fetch other employees for utensils and the check. We ordered drinks and asked for water with our alcoholic beverages and we were brought bottled waters. We were then told that they don’t offer complimentary tap water, only bottled water at $ 1.50. WTF? Is this a restaurant or a night club? Now the food. I ordered the Shepard’s Pie. This thing was tiny. At first I thought they gave me the kids portion, but nope. I was done in about 6 bites and was still hungry. And for this we were charged $ 11. We are not talking about exotic ingredients here, ground beef, potatoes and frozen veggies. With all that said I would not recommend this place for dinner. Maybe drinks and the live music since they do have some descent bands come in.

Super mellow little Irish Pub in the LBC Harbor area! They offer a variety of brews on tap as well as some food and a great view of the harbor area on the patio! We came here for a friends birthday last night and it was a great time the staff was all very nice and friendly as well as quick to serve us our drinks! They had a live band playing all the covers you’d expect when visiting a bar on a Saturday night! The drinks were decent prices as I payed $ 5.50 for a Pineapple Cider that was super delicious and just hit the spot as I enjoyed it on the patio looking into the awesome darkness of the harbor! They offer parking validation here so don’t forget to bring your ticket to the bartender to get a stamp as it will save you a few bucks when you decide to leave bringing it down to $ 2 for the 3 hours that we were here. Overall this was a mellow little spot that I’m sure I might visit sometime again in the future as it just good vibes all around!

Good place to kick back, have a beer or 2, listen to the band and watch a sport on tv. Bartenders are pretty cool and nice to look at. Food is pretty good and prices are fair. They offer a full selection of alcohol and beer. IPA’s are on tap as well.

Not sure who our server is… but I’m sorry you had the morning shift but it’s not our fault. Being sarcastic at your age is not cute. This was our first and last time here. I’m so sorry we inconvenienced you by doing your job. BTW potato pancakes were very good… too bad won’t be back to enjoy.

I had the Cornbeef burger, it was really good and will certainly fill you up. It is a full liquor bar. For kids? Are any of them good for kids? Probably not, but I don’t think a day time for lunch here would start them on the path to hell. Only time I have ever been here and I liked the burger. Food, two Jim Beam and diets…$ 29, the sandwich was $ 14 so the drinks are a little above average but someone has to pay for that real-estate. Bar tender was really nice too, I didn’t get her name.

Husband and I stopped for dinner there yesterday 6:15 pm. I have been here a few times before. I enjoy the view from patio. My husband and I both ordered a dish and to drink we both wanted water. We were told by our server(Derek is what receipt says) they only serve bottle water. We could not just get a glass of tap water. We had to buy bottled water. I have never ever heard of any restaurant not giving customers a glass of water if requested. And I am not confused this was not a misunderstanding. Server was clear. Our only option if we wanted water to drink w our meals was to buy a bottle of water. So we paid $ 1.50 per bottle of water. Terrible policy. Is it really worth losing a customer for a $ 3 Upsell? We won’t be going back.

Oh the shenanigans @ Shenanigans! Besides the fact that they had a live band there’s nothing to see here. Ordered 2 beers & for the kiddos a strawberry lemonade & Sprite. My friend’s beer glass had lipstick on it(nasty af!) & with our waitress nowhere to be found for pretty much our entire time here –Ashley, you were slippin– she had to take her drink back to the bar herself. Got another beer but it ended up being a different beer than what she originally ordered. Lucky for her I liked hers better so we did a lil switcheroo and all was well. Until we got the«garlic» fries that we also ordered. Smh, it was literally steak fries with a dollop of jarred, minced garlic on top. I have never seen garlic fries done this way in all my 36 years of eating French fries. No salt, no pepper, no seasoning on these fries whatsoever. So disappointing. The strawberry lemonade came in a big glass & was refilled while the Sprite came in a plastic kiddie cup & never got refilled. Low & behold when the bill came they were both $ 3…what? We pointed out the difference in size of the drinks plus the fact that the Sprite was never refilled & it was taken off of our bill. With so many other spots to eat & drink around here, this place SERIOUSLY missed the mark. One star for the live band, one star for fixing the bill… will def NOT be back here.

Nice location in Long Beach. We just stopped in for a Bloody Mary, so I can’t comment on the food. However the service was fast and friendly and the drinks are nicely prepared.

Food service wasn’t great. 1 cheeseburgers look forever until I asked to cancel order .i was told I could get it to go but even that took just as long I asked manager to take it off my bill. I was told they couldn’t since food had just came out I got a discount of like $ 7. Once I paid and left my 2 year old and I took a bite it wasn’t cooked all the way! its sad that they would rather serve me raw food then loose out on $ 12. And I might just take it up with the health department !! 0–

Shenanigans apparently didn’t get the memo that it’s 2016 and smoking sections are not acceptable anymore. Came in here while looking for a place to eat because the restaurant we planned on going to had a long wait. Sat at the bar and ordered a beer. The entire inside area absolutely reeks of cigarettes from Shenanigan’s outdoor smoking patio. I don’t know what management expects, there’s no magical spell containing the smoke outside, and this thing called wind exists, so the smoke naturally flows inside. If not for the smoke, we had fully planned to stay and eat. Instead, we finished half our drinks and just bailed. I’d rather wait 30 minutes for Tequila Jack’s than eat dinner in an ashtray.

The food was ok. We were just disappointed that people can sit here and smoke on the patio. We were enjoying our food then everyone started smoking cigarettes at the tables around us. Won’t be going there again sadly.

I came here for brunch on January 31, 2016. I was joined by at least twenty other people. They continued to accommodate the party as it grew and grew, in honor of one of my good friends who had been having a tough time lately. We all had the bottomless mimosas, which were very good and very strong. We all ordered breakfast as well. I had the corned beef hash and eggs and we ordered the potato pancakes with the two dipping sauces(one was apple sauce, and I think the other sour cream?) It was a seemingly strange mix, but it was so good! The service was polite, prompt, and efficient, even with the growing number of our party. We had been there for two hours and were finishing breakfast and the mimosas had really started to set in. At noon, I had the pleasure of watching as my best friend’s boyfriend proposed to her on the dock outside the back of the restaurant! It was a beautiful scene of which I have many pictures. I found out later the restaurant had been given notice a week before so that they knew. They were very helpful and very excited. Because it was her dream to elope, the restaurant did not kick us out when we took the bathroom hostage to get her ready for her wedding which was in less than an hour! It was a super cool experience and I will remember the hospitality of this place always. I am sure they were glad to have been a part of it. I certainly was.

I was there this past Saturday and it was truely an absolutely amazing experience. We had the most amazing waiter who was super attentive. For a bar the food was not so bad. The best part was the musical small band of guys they have playing the most awesome Johnny Cash music. They really make the place super unique and amazing. Keep up the good work.

Only giving it 2 stars because the blonde headed female bartender is better than the dark haired tattooed female,(night bartender) and I believe she deserves a star for herself. The blonde suggested Tito’s for my Cran and vodka(during the day and was very friendly). It’s definitely different than my goose I’m used to in it. I can dig it, along with the silver patron shots. I dislike that when you walk-in you seat yourself rather than being seated. So it’s definitely a waiting game to get some service. Seems like the bartenders are also the patios waitress which makes no sense to me. Garlic fries are $ 5, side salad is $ 5, pretty much all the menu is overpriced and overrated. Cool part I guess would be that they have live music on weekends if you’re into that. Also if you’re not into cigarettes I’d highly suggest sitting inside. Otherwise you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of an ashtray.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a stroll over to Shoreline and decided to play some pool here. We had two pints and played two games of pool, which accepted quarters(I think $ 1 a game). It was kinda empty that Saturday morning, I liked the idea they were open, offering beer, and had a friendly vibe. I would come back for another random Saturday morning! Or perhaps late at night… drinks are reasonably priced, and it’s in a good fun area of Long Beach. I hope to try their garlic fries one day!

I’m on a mission to try out more local places in Long Beach since I moved here nearly 3 years ago. The place is in a nice spot as part of the Shoreline Village complex. I don’t think any other bar could have a better view of the water. You can hang outside or inside. There is a bar inside to where I went to enjoy whatever game they had on(MLB All Star game). At first it was a little hard to get an order through. They seemed understaffed to handle the pretty large crowd they had(For a Tuesday night). I eventually was able to get an order through. I kept it simple with rum and coke and also a cheese steak sandwich. It didn’t take long to get the order once placed. I ordered a soft drink afterwards and was able to get refills from different bartenders. The sandwich itself was OK. Nothing bad nor special about it. The garlic fries were good. It was a pretty simple stop here, but it gave me enough to want to go back.

This was a great, stop in and have some drinks and sit on the boardwalk bar. We heard the food was good, but never got a chance to try it. Staff was awesome the first night we had drinks here. It was Tuesday night and the place was hopping. Live band and all. We were lucky the Bud Light girl was there and gave me and the wife a free beer. All Mexican beers were on special too. Coronas for the rest of the night. I would defiantly come again when I’m back in Long Beach.
