I’m glad I found this place! Everyone is very nice and they do a great job on my nails! It is also nice they are open 7 days a week.

Got the mid range pedi. Gave the lady a $ 10.00 tip. All around great.
Only negative: their polish selection is not great, many cheap brands so bring your own.
A great thing is Big Mistahs bbq is next door so you get a waft every now and again and can get dinner on the way home… if they are not sold out.

My sister and I are new to the neighborhood and since we needed to get some errands done on New Years Eve but we were way over do on mani’s and pedi’s, we thought getting our nails done would be a good idea. This nail shop is about two blocks away from where we live. As we entered the nail shop, we were greeted by these little ladies. The women here are very nice and seem to be in their mid 40s or so.
For a New Years Eve, I thought the nail shop would be very packed but luck was on our side and it wasn’t packed at all!
My sister and I were sat very quickly. We both got gel manicures and regular pedicures. The ladies who did my manicure and pedicure never spoke to me throughout the time I sat in a chair getting the works. I assume that maybe due to our age difference they weren’t making a conversation with me. I’m usually used to going to Tiffany out in Monterey Park (that’s where my sister usually goes, but it’s too far from us now) and Tiff is a very big chatter, and gives suggestions on what we could get. I guess my experience here was very different to the experience I was used to at the nail shop in Monterey Park.
Although my ladies never spoked to me, I loved how my nails and toes look but I felt my experience was so dull. I was literally falling asleep in my spa chair as I was getting pampered. hee hee.
One thing I really liked about this nail shop is how these ladies are very clean. The tools they used on my hands and feet were opened in front of me, which shows me that they care very much about sanitation and they care about their clients hands and feet! I’m sure I’ll return to this spot in hopes that these ladies loosen up a little a chat a little more. When ppl talk time goes by faster! And my experience here felt oh so long!
But overall, I was a satisfied client.

I love this place! I always get my nails done here. Mani & pedi with gel or regular polish. Spa pedicure is wonderful with massage chairs. Also have gotten gel nail tips in a pointed shape. Very nicely done. I always leave here happy! I really do recommend this place. Make an appointment because they always have clients and walk ins.

My favorite nail place. They are sweet as can be and always do a great job. I quite often get a different person every time I come in but hey, variety is the spice of life!,

Probably not coming back…
First time I came here was for face and underarm waxing. The actual waxing itself wasn’t too bad, but plenty of skin irritation in the weeks to follow. I think grand total was $ 30 for everything, which wasn’t too bad in price. They will charge you $ 1 if you use a credit/​debit card.
Came back on Sunday for another round of underarm waxing. The person who waxed me this time was different from the one who did it the first time I went to the location.
My left underarm looks like an albino zebra.
It didn’t hurt much when she first did the waxing. I just felt some irritation and kind of ignored it like the strong girl I am. Showered a few hours later because she said it’d be best if no water got to the newly waxed areas for an hour. After drying myself, I checked myself in the mirror and noticed these really ugly stripes of red on my left underarm. Thought to myself that it’ll probably go away.
Day 4, still not gone. Albino zebra has decided to leave its bright red/​pink stripes as a reminder of Day 1.
Hurts to touch, but I’m more annoyed at how scratchy both underarms are. It wasn’t like this the last time I did the waxing, and it wasn’t like this when I did the waxing at other places.

Putting baby powder is helping with the irritation and dulling the zebra stripes to a cotton candy pink. Still, probably not going to raise my arms any time soon that would make it obvious of a botched job…

Horrible. Butchered acrylic nails– and all I asked for was a fill.

The New Year and I forgot to get my nails done, already starting 2012 off with my perfect timing. And my regular nail place closed early. Just to warn you, I did pay more than I usually do so I took that into consideration for the stars. Other than that, the service was pleasant but not much different from my usual nail places. I do understand the price difference. Sassy has quite a range of gel nail polishes, comfy chairs, and it’s a small and intimate shop. I do have to commend them on their unique way to remove old gel polish that was so much easier than any place I’ve ever been.
Just based on price, the difference would be the size of the studio. Since it’s small, you aren’t going to be exposed to the noise of dozens of people running around. I think they have 2 spa chairs, but they also have other services such as waxing. But I was also out of there in record time since they do gel removal in their own semi-​painless way. I would seriously call for an appointment since they probably have a loyal following.
I did take a look at the new pricing banner which is hung above their door with some nice free services that come with certain purchased services. And, as it was being explained to me, if you come in with your nails already clean and ready to be painted, they have special pricing for that. I think this spa could become a little oasis
for the days that I have time to remove nail polish before I go over. Not too many places are really going out of their way to give a customer every advantage in affording nail care by «picking» your price or level of service. This final touch they did for my nails really did make all the difference in ringing in this new year ready to have fun and frolic.
