Robeks on campus is the best and worst thing that happened to me. Why is it the best? Well simply because it gave me a fresh/healthier alternative at something to drink instead of beer or soda on campus plus a large drink can fill you up pretty good so I guess it cuts out the fast food as well! On top of that, Robeks have added combos to their menu where you can get a regular drink with a tuna sandwich or etc. for about $ 6 give and take. The reason why this is the worst thing that happened to me on campus is because I come here a bit too often and its a little hole in my pocket that I don’t mind having. My go to drink is the Spartan Berry which is a mix of blueberries, greek yogurt, and some other stuff is like $ 7 each time but hey, it tastes good and it isn’t that oily Big Carl combo that is waiting for me over at Carl’s Jr haha.

Update: Peter is gone. Staff is brighter and more upbeat nowadays. I’m happier with my purchases. Old: For the most part I have few issues with this place, but the manager, Peter, is a jerk. He is sub-par at customer service and has this air about him that says that he just doesn’t care. He also seems to have something against people who order the«Simple» drinks. Today, I ordered a Pineapple Orange Passion and asked to add strawberries. Instead of charging me for the proper drink and the standard $ 0.50(or so) for an extra fruit, he charged me for a Mahalo Mango, which is $ 1.50 more than a Pineapple Orange Passion. The Mahalo Mango is more expensive because it has yogurt in it instead of sherbet like the Pineapple Orange Passion. I rarely come to this location anymore because of his lack of care and sensitivity for the students who frequent this Robeks; I only came because my friend wanted to get a drink. Peter either needs to improve or he needs to be replaced. I think I’m done giving this location any business until something is done about him. Might as well take some extra steps and go to Surf City Squeeze.

I love this location! There’s a guy that works there named Pedro who is always very welcoming and makes the wait go by fast. I stick with the same order a majority of the time, Awesome Acai. I’m an acai addict so I’m a regular here. It does get expensive, but they have punch cards. The Raspberry Romance is another favorite of mine and the smoothie bowls are pretty good as well. It can get super busy but it’s right in the center of campus, so it’s expected.

1. If you’re a green juice person, don’t get the health heart because it’s more pineapple with no kale to tickle my taste buds. Won’t be coming back. Going back to the expensive la juiceries 2. The cashier was super nice but no one could describe the difference between health heart and age buster. One girl was starting to describe when she kinda stopped mid sentence and walked away. What. If you’re looking for a fancy Jamba Juice, this is your place. If you want some super green action, go somewhere else.

Great smoothies! However, the service is terrible. I think they try to see how slow they can do things!!! I would give them a five for smoothies, but had to take 2 off for service.

I got to campus a little early on a Friday morning and wanted a smoothie so I decided to wait outside Robek’s until they opened. According to the hours posted on their window, the store opens at 8:00 everyday, including Fridays.(They close early on Fridays but still open at 8:00.) I waited 25 minutes until it was 8:05 and the store still wasn’t open. A guy who worked at Coffee Bean said they don’t open at all on Fridays. I was really pissed. If the hours had stated that they don’t open on Fridays, I would have driven to Jamba Juice with my extra time. Unfortunately, I wasted my time waiting for a store that never intended to open even though their posted hours say otherwise. In the future I definitely plan to drop by Jamba Juice before I get to campus and not give Robek’s the time of day. I tried to complain to the Robek’s headquarters to get a free smoothie that could remove the bad taste from my mouth but their website form doesn’t even work. So, I’m forever and done with this company, including the store on campus as well as the one by my house.

Kudos to Robeks for figuring out how to make broke college students drop five bucks on a smoothie without blinking. When they get busy they lose orders pretty easily, but the service is pretty good except for that so if you’ve been waiting forever and have to remind them to make your drink, don’t be surprised if you get a free upgrade to the next-largest size. For what it’s worth, the location in the SRWC is smaller and has shorter lines, if you feel like putting in the walk.

Honestly, I feel like all their smoothies taste the same(mostly of orange juice). I avoid any smoothies that have orange juice for that reason and I find out it tastes somewhat better, different. Not sure if boosts are free or what, I never get asked. Their tomato parmesan pretzels are really good.

One of my favorite places to go on campus! Whenever I am at school and want something relatively healthy… I always go here. I am a huge fan of smoothies. It is located in the student union by Coffee Bean. I always get the same thing pretty much… im not too adventurous on flavors… I usually get: –Strawnana Berry –Acai Special Prices are decent… the flavor and quality of the smoothies and acai bowls are good though. They offer stamp cards here so that’s always a plus.

I love their fresh juices! The guy working here was honest with me and told me that the orange juice was not freshly squeezed, but recommended apple juice instead. I could totally tell the apple juice was super fresh, what a considerate employee! I’ve had their orange juice before, thinking it was freshly squeezed but it wasn’t haha. However, it was still delicious regardless of whether it was fresh or not. I’ve also had their Robek’s rejuvenator and it’s quite delicious. I need to try some more smoothies here! I like their juice because it doesn’t fill me up as much as the smoothies do. I like the names they give to their drinks, it’s interesting and makes the drink sound cool.

This was the spot for the friends and I during our break from class. Located in the student union at CSULB, this place was always crowded. Staff is a little slow, but let’s face it, these employees are our fellow peers, so besides studying and partying, they were making our drinks. Never noticed anything unsanitary going on. You’re basically standing in front of them while they prepare your smoothie. Don’t like something, you might as well tell them. After all, you are paying a few cents more for a smoothie you can buy cheaper at a different location. Very happy with this Robeks. Will definitely go back to csulb in the near future and this will be the first thing I’ll drink.

The mere power of an 800 pound gorilla may generate a respectable amount of heat. This gorilla, the 800 lb gorilla smoothie also provides you with protein & vitamins for $ 5.75 at Robek’s Juice. From the 800 pound gorillla drink to its Acai smoothie, Robek’s has quite the«Jamba Juice» aura with a little more sweetness. Right in the heart of CSULB, in the student center area, lies Robeks. CSULB being cornered by LB, Atherton, 7th& Palo Verde near the 604, 405&PCH. If you go here you are either a student, or willing to pay 3 something for parking and walk 1⁄3 of a mile. Before classes, I would take an 800 lb gorilla with 50 grams of protein, milk, banana & peanut butter, sweet, nutty and tasty. Then, after class I would go run 5 miles on the gym track. Acai, on some days I ate the awesome acai with vitamin and fiber boost. If I had not eaten enough veggies and vitamin c that day it would give me a boost. Working at 8am till 5, then school till 9:30, I needed the boost now and recovery. I also enjoyed the taste, much like the Jamba acai but sweeter. Jamba and Robek’s are the only juice places I go to, mainly because many other juice places do not have the healthy fortified alternatives I seek. This store location gave me my first taste of Robek’s. I had so many of thier great drinks and bowls with froyo/granola. I remember the freindly cashiers, always freindly. Not always the fastest to make a smoothie, but I was never late to class with a smoothie in my hand.
