The first time I came here was one of the best massages of my life– the therapist knew the perfect pressure and spent the perfect amount of time on each area. Came back today really needing my shoulders worked on and bought the one hour massage. I think the therapists name was joy– we had a really bad language barrier. She couldn’t understand anything I said nor could the guy at the front. I repeated things 5 times and still a blank stare or thought I said something else. This therapist, Joy, was THEWORST. She started out alright but things started to get bad when she spent over 30 minutes giving me the most terrible foot massage I’ve ever had. I tried asking her to try something else or work on another part. her response– Major attitude. She listened a little but still was doing the 2 things I told her I wasn’t enjoying anymore. The first was grinding her knuckles into the arches of my feet. People who have high arches usually have sensitive arches. why in the hell would we need repeated knuckles being ground into that area?! The second was endless shin rubbing… Note to all foot therapists who do this– endless stroking on a shin does NOTFEELGOOD. I tolerated it for as long I could bare and when it just wouldn’t stop and started to feel like my skin was rubbing off I asked her to work on my shoulders, which was the area I really came in for. She rolled her eyes, stormed out of the room, said something angry to the guy at the front and came back. WHATTHE F. Upon return she was rude and so rough it was obvious she meant harm. I was in shock. She turned me over and went straight in with the elbows all over my neck and back. Her pressure switched from light-medium to deep tissue and aggressive after she lost her cool. Excuse me, but I am PAYING for this and if it does not feel good because you suck and politely ask for a different area. you do what your clients asks. After the brutal shoulders(I did tell her«too hard» once and was completely ignored), she did more aggressive pushing on my lower back, which was already a little sore from a yoga class, and finished it off with some hard and also aggressive slamming on my lower back. She was actually out of breath and said«OKLADY! FINISHED!» I tried to speak to the manager or whoever the guy was at the front. he understood very little English also. So frustrating!!! You don’t have to learn English to live here but you DO if you work in a business that requires it! I paid full price for the massage and wasn’t offered a discount. When I didn’t tip, the evil therapist looked at it, gave me a dirty look and said«TIP?!» I think the owners name is Cindy but there is no way to contact her so I left a note. Joy needs a serious lesson in massage and also customer service. I was appalled. If you do come here– do not go to Joy. Two stars because the first therapist, who’s name I didn’t get was incredible.

I purchased a 1 hr reflexology for $ 25. During the massage, several walk in customers came & he left me to help them. It was distracting to say the least. My massage was finished at the exact same time as my boyfriend in the other room. I didn’t get my full hour. I wouldn’t come back.

Massage envy… that’s what you should have right now. And I’m not talking about that big corporation, Massage Envy, I’m talking about this amazing spot I found for only $ 25 an hour! My massage therapist was professional and didn’t waste any time dilly dallying like some places I’ve been to. Some therapists wait over 5 minutes for me to undress and its doesn’t take me that long. My hour long massage felt like two hours because they were very efficient with the massage. Loved it and will be back!

This place is very legit. You have your own private room for a massage. Not dressing room set up. For $ 25 you get an hour of a full body massage. Best fix ever!

This place is awesome, you can’t beat it! Well, only if you go to the other one off of Carson and Bellflower. And they are both fantastic so it’s a win win. So happy this spot is down the street, guess I’ll Be coming in weekly!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Rivini’s the owner was talking to me kindly when I walked in — I picked my massage & was quickly on my way ! I was EXTREMELY relaxed. My masseuse was Sisi & she put just the right amount of force yet was gentle when she needed to be. I got the combo massage & I was so impressed with the clean rooms, comfortable massage table & friendly staff ! I will most definitely be coming back here regularly

Noticeable decline in quality of the massage since it opened. Been here with my wife three times, stopped going.

I went here on a whim tonight and was thankful to get a last minute appointment. The woman at the front was very kind and accommodating. My massage(the middle, 70 minute option) was just ok, though. It started off fine but wasn’t consistent. I hate to say it but in my experience, the men just don’t do as good of a job as the women. Note to men: «hard» is not the same thing as «rough». Also, using your elbows to massage my shoulder blade doesn’t feel great. Bone on bone is actually quite painful. One last tip: yawning incessantly just makes me feel that you’re just going through the motions. I can imagine that at 10:00pm you’re tired but come on. I might give this place another try based on the reviews but will definitely plan it better and request a woman.

Just went here for the first time — place was nice, massage was decent but nothing special. I was told it would be $ 25 which is a great deal! I got charged $ 1 for using my card which is totally fine. But when I gave a $ 5 tip I got laughed at by the owners and stopped. I have been a business owner for years now in the hospitality industry and I have had servers and bartenders not even get tipped $ 1 on great service but never in my life would we chase the customer down and ask them for more. I gave a 20% tip… Like WTF? I will never return. Sucks because it’s so close to home, but I will not be going there again.

If you are looking for a no-nonsense excellent massage this is the place to go. The staff did not speak English but are friendly. I made an appointment but it seems most people were walk-ins. I had a 90 minute massage and it was wonderful! I will definitely be back!

Thankful to have a Ravini so close to home. I have found the people to be delightful. I wish it were more of an open space, like their Viking Way location, but I do get that space is a commodity.

I have been here 4 times now and it is by far the best massage I have ever had. I have been to Burke Williams and a couple other high end places and this place is great. The price is $ 35 for 70 minutes you can’t beat that. I have been to Owen and he is great then I got Judy and I will never go to anyone else but Judy. She is amazing she does it exactly how I want it. They have the other place on Viking way but this one is closer to me and you have private rooms so you can take your shirt off. Love love love this place! I seriously have zero complaints it’s that good.

My neck and back were bothering me so i decided to get a massage. I’m so glad I did! I opted for the $ 35 combo special which was amazing… They start you out on your stomach massage you and do reflexology. Then you turn over on your back and they soak your feet in warm water while massaging your head at the same time. After that they work on your arms and hands, then spend a great amount of time on your feet. The rooms are small, the lights are set low, and the music is relaxing. The massage hurt a little at times, but i felt awesome afterwards! I also had the best nights sleep in months. I will definitely be going back.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Rivini Salon! So happy to have you here. I have been to the location on Viking Way, and have enjoyed it very much. But, now that I can literally WALK to this location, I think I’ve found my new #1 massage place! They’ve done a nice job with the interior transformation of this place. It’s clean, quiet, and unlike the other Rivini location, this one has separate rooms. I’ve never minded the large room space, but having an individual room is a nice touch. I’ve had MANY massages over the years and have paid top dollar for some of them. The woman who worked on me today was excellent and attentive. Seriously, I’ve paid 3 times as much for a much lesser quality. I left feeling like a million bucks! THANKYOU! With regard to the comment from another Unilocaler, who said it was«upstairs» and a «creepy vibe» : 1. Being upstairs simply means you need to walk up a flight of stairs to reach the business and then back down to return to your vehicle. Seems to me, the only thing that makes this a drag is if you are physically unable to climb stairs. 2. If by «creepy vibe» you mean«under construction» then, OK, perhaps construction is creepy to you. The shopping center is undergoing a huge façade renovation. You don’t have to be the foreman on the construction site to know this. It’s pretty clear by the scaffolding and construction workers. Anyone can see that. Guess what, it’s probably going to look a lot worse in the coming weeks. But then guess what else, it’s going to look great when it’s done. In closing, let me just say this: Rivini Salon is an affordable, excellent quality, clean and definitely NOT creepy place to go for a massage. The price is right! And, they’re very nice, too! Thanks, Rivini, for a great massage. I’ll be back soon, and often!
