Dr, Bell has saved my husband’s foot/toes on 3 separate occasions over a period of 7 years when other eminent podiatric surgeons have said the only thing to do was amputation. He is very caring and is willing to work long, hard, and inexpensively to provide healing. He didn’t hesitate to make multiple consultations with other podiatric surgeons before planning surgery. He literally took my husband’s foot apart and put it back together again to relieve pressure points. My husband is a diabetic and therefore has problems healing. Dr. Bell is very patient and believes in taking baby steps to ensure great healing. We totally avoided surgery on 2 of 3 occasions when my husband let an infection go too far. Other surgeons offered nothing but amputation, and because of Dr. Bell’s fine work my husband was able to hike 5 miles along the Rose Parade route yesterday. He doesn’t use a cane or limp. We have not experienced long waits, but we would do so happily because we know he takes as much time as necessary to be very thorough.

He gave me a 100% incorrect diagnosis and treatment plan. He started to talk about surgery and a walking cast. He offered nothing for pain relief. I quickly got a second opinion and avoided unnecessary surgery, pain and suffering. His bedside manner is completely uncaring & cold. He is difficult to communicate with and has a hearing deficit.. When I needed advice, he would not answer his office pager or return phone calls. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone wanting good medical care.
