Porky’s Pizza

We tried Porky’s about 6 months ago after getting a flier in the mail. It is now our favorite go-​to for pizza delivery. We used to order from the local Valentino’s, but find this place is a much better value and quality in my opinion.
The food is consistently good; the garlic knots are delicious as other reviewers have stated. I also love the salad because you can tell it’s very, very fresh. No soggy or browned lettuce here! The pizza is delicious, I like the thin crust best. A good value for good food.
Lastly, the employees have always been professional and nice!

I love love love their garlic knots! I also recommend their Hawaiian pizza it is scrumptious. Today, I ordered over the phone and they have been very professional and nice. Would definitely order from here anytime I want pizza.

I don’t know what the did to the ovens but we just had the best pizza we’ve had from Porky’s…we had almost given up on them. God job Porky’s on 7^th.

The pizza here is the Best in Long Beach hands down! Not only do they have great pizza with the freshest ingredients, but awesome salads and the garlic or cinna-​knots are highly addictive!
For starters the store is clean and has a friendly staff that wants to make sure you get your pizza the way you ordered it. I’ve been their to pick up my order and it was just about to come outta the oven. I had asked over the phone for my pizza to be well done and once the oven guy figured out that was my pizza, he allowed me to make the call of when it was ready and well done to my satisfaction. I thought that was pretty cool and not just some pizza that went through the conveyor style oven and then it’s done. Not really, every pizza has different toppings and should be cooked to perfection based off ingredients and the customer’s expectations.
So if your a Long Beach local or just someone in the area, you need to experience this pizza! If your not a pizza person, then I would suggest one of the salads and a choice of knots (bread stix).
They have two locations in LB, more in OC and every location has the quality pizza you’ve been craving!

DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD AT THIS LOCATION! Ordered pizza and cinna-​twists on ⁷⁄₂₈ and signed the receipt with the tip filled out. Noticed the amount charged to my card was $ 20 over what I had authorized. I went in the store on ⁷⁄₃₀ and talked to Jake who said the receipts went home with his manager and he would have to wait for him to bring them back to the store. (what?!) Called the store on ⁷⁄₃₁ — receipts still not brought back to store and Jake said he would call me as soon as he received them. Jake called me 30 minutes later and said that there was a tip filled in for over $ 20 (on a $ 27 order mind you!) but that they would bring over the $ 20 in cash for the amount we felt we were overcharged. He apologized for the miscommunication. THERE WAS NO MISCOMMUNICATION. Someone added a $ 2 in front of the tip amount I authorized. Some would call this FRAUD.

I am extremely disappointed to find out that both Porky do not services my area in Long Beach. Both stores gave me the run around and this pregnant women is not happy right now. All I wanted was garlic knot instead I had to deal with rude staff. Honestly this establishment has made me feel like my business is not worth their time. Bad move.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had, they have traditional and thin crust pizza the flavor is unique and tasty! I’ve been ordering from here for over a year mostly delivery. They have fresh tomatoes and garlic which are amazing additions to any pizza choice. The garlic knots are good without being too overpowering or greasy. And the best part is when they say they’ll be at your door in 45−50min they are fast, mostly 30mins! The guys who answer the phone are super nice and the delivery guys too, which is almost unheard of in the pizza businesses around here most of them just push the box in your door, grab the cash n go!

I just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to check out the neighborhood pizza place after a long day of moving. When they tried my card, they were having issues with it. They swiped and reswiped, it went through and I left with a pizza. A few hours later I get a call, text and email from B of A saying suspicious activity has occurred. Mind you, me buying a pizza is not suspicious, so B of A must have this place flagged. I let B of A know that I did spend $ 36 there. No biggie right? Wrong. Now I get my statement and they have added $ 7 to the amount charged. I check my receipt to see if I for some reason left a tip even though I picked up the stuff. Nope. They straight up just added $ 7. I call the manager. She doesn’t apologize or anything, just says she will look into it and get back to me in a couple. I am not holding my breath. I will update this post. Looks like I will be going to Bella on Carson and Atlantic or to Buonos.

I absolutely LOVE this pizza. Great taste and the guys are super nice. You can walk in and buy a slice or order an Extra Large.

The only reason why I ordered from porkys is because BIG E pizza was asking for an ID when the pizza is delivered. I seriously don’t know how this pizza place has so many 5 star ratings. The pizza I received tonight was trash… I won’t be ordering from here again.

Live on OC, work in LBC. I see this place everyday, twice a day, 5 days a week lol finally had to stop in n try it. I had it once at a friends house and always wanted to have my kids try a slice. Stopped in got 2 large pizzas n 10 wings for $ 35. The pizza was on point 10/​10, he ate so much n still couldn’t finish it all. Highly recommend it!

I wish the website said what their flyer states about specializing in thick crust and that thin crust can be requested. Normally my husband and I like the crust thinner. I would have ordered thinner if I knew before, maybe it would have made a difference. This place is just okay in my book.
We ordered their two pizza deal with a large cheese pizza and a large «the fear» for about $ 35. I’m always bummed when pizza places use pickled jalapeño instead of fresh. The sauce could have been more and the crust thinner. Overall it was ok. My husband compared the dough to Pizza Hut quality but not as greasy. Not the best, but not the worst. Not sure if we would order from here again.
Customer service is pretty nice, but the price for two large is a bit much

The garlic knots are amazing! The pizza is also good but I usually fill up on the knots. The service is always great.

Yesterday, I placed an order to be delivered at a location that could be confusing to find. However, porky’s did a great job finding it. I appreciate the fast delivery!
When I placed my order over the phone, the guy who answered was extremely friendly. He waited as I rummaged through my gigantic purse for my wallet and I felt comfortable enough to give my card number over the phone.
I love their garlic knots!!! The smell is not so pleasant (ha ha ha, you’ve been warned!), but it’s the best garlic knots closest to home. They’re comparable to New York’s garlic knots, which says a lot. All they need is freshly chopped garlic. I love how they’re a smidge crunchy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside… mmmmm, perfect! I also enjoyed the buffalo sauce on their wings, but they tasted rather salty (minus 1 star). I will still continue carb loading on their garlic knots though!

Had to leave a review and give a shout out to the delivery guy. Didnt get his name but he was soooo nice, he also made my niece laugh while he waited on us. First time eating Porkys and gotta say, its pretty awesome. I will be back!

The most awesome pizza ever! Tons of fresh veggies, it was so good! A bit pricey but it can be a rare treat, def check it out!

Their pizza is much better then most Corporate pizza places. This is a great local chain that mixes quality food with great prices and service. We have been ordering from them for years for both the occasional family meals and for pizza parties. They have great specialty pizzas and great specials for easy ordering. Their salads are simple but fresh and delicious (no brown lettuce). And in conclusion: GARLIC KNOTS!

This place was the go-​to place for my roommates and I the past couple years. I am a pizza fanatic, and this place definitely has it down. They deliver promptly (one time the delivery boy was a guy in my class and my roommates and I ordered a ton of stuff how embarrassing) and everything is pretty cheap.
I finally tried the Sweet ‘N Spicy pizza because I LOVE pineapple and spice. However, it wasn’t spicy at all. The only spice was a limited amount of crushed red pepper on it. so don’t expect much spice to it! Add your own pepper! Other than that though, I have never been disappointed by any pizzas from them.
The Garlic Knots are also a MUST! $ 4 for an entire box of them with marinara. SO GOOD. And they are great leftovers. they will last a few days and still be just as good!!!
I’ll always remember Porky’s as my college go-​to pizza place! Thanks!

I’ve had a slice here a while back and I recall it being good so since I was in the area I figured I’d have lunch here.
So they say they only have pepperooni slices today. Really? A pizza place that doesn’t have regular cheese pizza? Sorry, that just doesn’t cut it.
I was ready to give it a shot, and they blew it.
«We don’t make plain cheese on the weekends because its slow»
Well, I don’t eat meat so pepperoni won’t cut it. Thanks for thinking about your vegetarian customers.
