Quality poke at reasonable prices. I do wish, however, that they’d update the presentation a little(see photo) for take away this makes *some* sense — but for dine-in it’s silly. Tons of plastic, looks terrible, etc etc. My suggestion: For dine-in migrate to a simple(non-plastic) plate and scoop the poke right on top. It would actually save the restaurant costs(less disposable container waste) and look 1000x nicer :)

Very friendly staff. The food tastes great(fish and other meats as well). The price is quite low and the deal on Tuesday is a steal(½ lb poke for 6. xx and free rice + fountain drink). The ratio of quality/price is extremely high.

Having been to Hawaii and having poke there, you can’t compare poke from Hawaii and the mainland. With that being said, this my first time here and sampled the fresh ginger and limu. Elected to buy both; they have special on Tuesdays where you get a half pound poke with 1.5 scoop of rice and fountain drink. The ginger poke was very good, the seasoning was well put together. It was not over powering, complimented the fish very well. The fish is pretty fresh, still had a little of that buttery texture to it. The limu(seaweed) poke is great too. It is not too salty which seem to happen with limu. The fish texture is nearly the same as the ginger poke. The rice get garnished furikake. They have a nice selection of poke from wasabi, kimchi and couple others. They also have Kailua pork and other items on their menu but I was there for poke. I will be coming back to get poke here.

— The Skinny: Food Quality: 5 Stars — Fresh! Good quality Poke. The«Sweet & Spicy» is delicious! Also tried the«Spicy Mayo» which was good too. Brown rice wasn’t dry :) Pricing: 5 Stars — Amazing on Tuesdays! ½ pound poke, rice, and a fountain drink for $ 6.49. Normally like $ 9+. Large portions even though it doesn’t look like it. Service: 5 Stars — Nice & friendly! The owner is kind and welcoming encouraging free samples. Atmosphere: 5 Stars — Comfortable & clean. Decorated with a Hawaiian theme. Comfort: 5 Stars — Not a large place but enough room inside and a little seating outside. Location: 5 Stars Right off the 710 in the Ralph’s shopping center. — The Fat: My car was at E3 Towing/Expedite Recon Collison Repair nearby and my wife & I wanted a quick & healthy spot. Really happy to find this gem down the street, especially on their Tuesday special. My wife could only finish half her order and I only could do 2⁄3. We could have easily shared an order. Great value, quality, and service!

This place deserves all the credit it gets, they have great customer service and know how to keep their customers happy, got a free dinner today as I was trying them out for the first time and they made a small error. Love this place

This place is much better than the Carson one. There is actual seating in here in the form of bamboo looking chairs and tables. The staff is friendly. The poke was okay but I don’t like how sinew-y it is. It makes it particularly chewy. I also like feel the marinade covers a lot of the natural taste of fish that I like in raw fish. For the price though, it is a great lunch option! It is less than ten dollars for their poke bowl special and a free drink is included! I got the ginger ahi and the limu one. I think limu was my favorite out of the two. The lady said their spicy mayo is the most popular so maybe I’ll try that next time. Edit/ Tried the ginger salmon bowl and the marinade was so salty! Fail.

Not bad i guess, i ordered the 2 types of poke(½lb) with brown rice. I guess it was annoying because u have to pay for add-ons, so my total was like $ 16 — and converting that to CAD seemed kinda on the pricey side, specially for lunch. Had to pay a dollar for some seaweed and sesame sprinkles(which honestly should be added as a topping!, now i have like half a container left in the fridge) a dollar for half an avocado, and 3 $ for seaweed salad. I didnt even ask for ginger or wasabi, it would have prolly tacked on another 2 $! The poke was not that bad as stated before, maybe a bit too marinated. I think maybe this is better for someone who would buy it by the pound and go make their own little bowl at home if they had the ingredients. I think ill stick with other poke places that add cool variety to the bowl. Im kind of a toppings girl, so this place didnt hit my spot in that aspect :) plus, mostly all their marinades have chunks of onions in them, so if u hate raw onions like me — beware! Also, they wouldn’t let me substitute one of the tunas with a salmon, which is kinda annoying as well. Firstly, tuna is always more expensive than salmon, and secondly, u should make an exception for a first timer! He told me if i wanted salmon id have to buy it by the pound. no thanks!

Saw this place next to the Ralph’s I just entered. First time trying poke. If it gets better than this place let me know because this was bomb. 25% off salmon this weekend, poke bowl came out to $ 7.35.

This place MIGHT just be better than North Shore Poke… haha The fish here is so amazing! It’s fresh and delicious and the sauces are BOMB. The quality of the fish is also probably one of the best that I’ve had by far. It’s definitely comparable to my other favorite poke place, as I mentioned earlier, North Shore, the location in Cerritos. The workers here are very friendly and welcoming. Even though it was just right at closing they didn’t rush us out. Just bummed out that they close so early everyday! They have a good deal on Tuesday that I’d recommend. Really pleased to find a great poke spot in long beach because there’s too many mediocre ones that have opened up in the LA/OC area.

I was in the mood for fresh Poke that was pleasing to my palate. I ordered the Poke 3 combo, which comes with 3 types of poke(¾ LB), brown rice, and a drink. I chose the Limu, Spicy, and Ginger Poke. All 3 were delicious. Service is fast and courteous.

Poke Tuesday! ¼ lb. Poke mix of your choice, rice(white or brown), and a drink for $ 7. My favorite is the spicy mayo and limu but they also have wasabi, sweet and spicy, oyster sauce. Their poke is simple, no fancy topping or sides but I left for sure full. They also have plates if you are not in a poke mood like kalua, pork tonkatsu.

Since I was in Long Beach, I decided to try this popular poke place. Once I walked in, I was kindly greeted by the person who works there. Since it was also my first time there, he guided me through the menu and was very kind. He showed great customer service! He also let me try different samples of poke because I was so indecisive in choosing which one to order. So I sampled the Kimchee, Sweet and Spicy, and Limu Seaweed poke. I ordered the Sweet and Spicy and Limu Seaweed poke because they were very flavorful compared to the Kimchee poke. I suggest ordering the Sweet and Spicy poke if you like your poke with a lot of flavor because this one definitely stood out for me. I really liked the spice in this poke because as you can tell, I love spicy food. This poke contained it’s sweet and spicy sauce with green onions. The Limu seaweed poke contained the Limu seaweed, sesame seeds, white onions, and green onions. This poke had less flavor than the Sweet and Spicy poke but it was still good! Since I wanted two different types of poke I ordered Poke Bowl 2, which was about $ 8.99 and it included 2 scoops of rice with furikake seasoning on top of the rice and a fountain drink. This was definitely a deal and I’m sure going to come back the next time I’m in town.

There seems to be a Poke obsession surfacing in me. I noticed this location in the parking structure of the Ralph’s supermarket and came to try it out the food due to the great Unilocal ratings. The location is small and they have other menu items that does not include poke, which makes it a great option for someone who loves poke goes to eat with someone who doesn’t. Love the fact that they let you sample some of the poke prior to ordering and the customer service was on point. I ordered the Aloha plate that came with a scoop of rice, some kahula pork and a side of poke. The pork was tasty but a little on the saltier side. The spicy mayo ahi was good but could have used a little more spice. We also ordered the special that gives you two scoops of rice and a side of poke. The Ginger Ahi poke was great as well For the freshness and the price, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Great little Poke shop. It’s located in a shopping center and is easy to miss. They offer several different flavors of Poke, such as limu, spicy mayo, and garlic. They have specials that come with rice, poke, and a drink for under $ 10. I really liked this place and its a great lunch spot.

We were in the area and craving poke… a quick Unilocal check and we found ourselves at Poke etc! For those who haven’t been here, this is a no muss, no fuss poke place… you’ll won’t see ornate décor, fancy chairs, etc. HOWEVER, get ready for some delicious poke, a great variety, and some great deals. One of their deals is pretty awesome: 4.991 scoop of white rice + ¼ lb poke 8.992 scoops of white rice + ½ lb poke 11.993 scoops of white rice + ¾ lb poke Aren’t these great deals? I ended up getting the 8.99 option with spicy mayo poke and Limu(seaweed) poke. Although I usually opt for a poke bowl, I found that the poke and rice was enough and I was full before I knew it. I also liked how they separate the rice from the poke so you can eat however you want to. For those who aren’t in the mood for poke, fear not! They also have chicken teriyaki and other dishes so no worries!

I would go to this place every week if I could Best times to come are Tues-Thurs, when you have the specials of Ahi, Salmon, and Octopus, respectively. Honestly you can’t beat the prices, the fish is great, and everyone there is really friendly. Tuesday Special 5.99 ½ pound ahi poke with rice and a drink Wednesday Special 6.99 ½ pound salmon poke with rice and a drink Thursday Special 7.99 ½ pound octopus with rice and a drink ONLYUNTILHALLOWEEN, so this might changes. Also this means I’m going again this week :) I love all the options and that you can sample 3 types every time! I’ve tried the wasabi, basic spicy, and spicy mayo ones(ahi and salmon) and loved them all. I’d love to try the oyster sauce one. Love this place as a healthy delicious option for a quick meal!

So recently they added everyday specials. They have a Tuesday special where you get half a pound of poke(any flavor) with rice and a fountain drink. I got my usual spicy tuna flavor but when I tried my friends fresh ginger poke, I FELLINLOVE. Their oyster sauce poke is amazing too! I’ll be back. On a Tuesday. *ILoveMakonnen voice*

This location is far better than the Carson location. 1.) It’s bigger. While the Carson location is just a counter with no seating area, this location has at least 104-top tables. 2.) The poke is über fresh! Perhaps it’s because we came in on a Tuesday during the lunch rush and everyone in line was ordering up their Tuesday special(ahi poke bowl w/drink for $ 6.95), but they kept refilling the trays of poke every 10 minutes. 3.) This location will also«custom» make poke for you. My party was interested in the octopus(Tako) but asked them if they could do it with the spicy mayo sauce instead of what they had out…“sure!” 5 minutes later, we had our own container of octopus with spicy mayo. Other details: brown rice is available at a 50cent up-charge. The fresh ginger tuna was amazing. I’m not a fan of ginger(in fact, I hate ginger), but this was not an overpowering, smack-in-your-face flavor of ginger. It was light and incredibly refreshing. The sweet and spicy sauce is really good, but the spice definitely creeps up on you. Spicy mayo is a classic… can’t really go wrong there. One of my friends also ordered the kalua pork and it was to die for! this has definitely become a go-to spot for us. They seem to have daily specials, but the Tuesday one is definitely the best.

Wednesday special = $ 7 for ½ a pound of salmon poke(aka my FAVORITE) with a box of rice and a fountain drink. SUCH a great deal. I got the sweet and spicy poke which was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. The fish was fresh and the marinade was perfect. I also tried the mayo salmon poke which was also delicious, but a little bit on the spicier side. I actually made the lunch special into two snacks — my pre and post work out meals — by taking it to go and adding my own slices of cucumber and avocado. PERFECTION. Poke is such a tasty and healthy treat. Often times it is really expensive or the fish quality is compromised, but at Poke Etc, the prices are great and the fish is delicious. I need to come back here ASAP! P. S. they have a different daily special everyday and the owners of this place are the sweetest. I can’t wait to come back.

Hands down the best poke in the area! Only wish their spicy flavored ones would actually have a kick to it. Their poke is yummy and for $ 4.99 you get a scoop of poke, rice and a fountain drink/can soda. So on a broke day I am still able to enjoy an awesome meal. They flavors they have a available are Lime(my fav), oyster, ginger, spicy, spicy mayo, Wasabi, sweet and spicy or oyster. You are able to sample up to 3 flavors, once in a while more flavors if needed. They also have other Hawaiian dishes available like chicken katsu and kalua pork which is great since my babies don’t eat poke. I personally just come for the poke though. Their flavor have always been on point and I have yet to be disappointed. This yummy poke place us located in to the left of Ralphs in the shopping center off Carson and Cherry. Plenty of parking available. It’s a small joint, not to attractive but dine in option is available. I’ve only ordered to go. Service here is friendly, patient and quick. I would totally recommend this place if you’re in the area and will continue to come back.(^_^)
