This woman is a true professional. Marisol does wonders with framing & restoring photos. She also holds amazing exhibits every couple months — WHICH YOU ALL SHOULD GO AND SEE. I’ve seen her work on frames and her attention to detail is insane. I highly recommend her to everyone for their framing needs.

This is a gem of a frame shop! The owner is knowledgeable about conservation framing and methods and will help you choose the perfect and appropriate frame and matting for your needs! You will get personal attention, not like those craft store frame shops and you will be much happier with the results! There are photo restoration services available and a rotating gallery of local art is on display.
Be sure you don’t miss any of the special art openings or galas… The Frida look alike contest is always a hit!

I’ve been getting posters, pictures, and other troublesome and special projects framed here for over 10 years, and I highly recommend it. The exceptional quality is reasonably priced and I don’t think there is any framing problem or challenge that can’t be beautifully completed. I simply will not go anywhere else. I would rather wait for Mattie to return from vacation or an errand, than to take my chance somewhere else.
Additionally, the owner is a delight to talk to and she frequently contributes to the community in a variety of settings.

We tried this place because of the good reviews on Unilocal.However I can’t comment on the quality of work because the place was closed during business hours with no indication of when it would be reopened. Why bother having your hours on Unilocal if you don’t keep them?
I suggest calling ahead to make sure they’re actually open.

I don’t even know where to start with this review but here goes: I brought in a moldy, dusty, enormous painting my father did when he was a kid on crumbly particle board of some kind that had been stored for more than 60 (yes 60) years in my grandparents garage. I unearthed it and fell madly in love with the idea of restoring and framing it but had no idea where to start. Mari took that painting and lovingly cleaned it, dried it out, revarnished it and somehow made a frame to fit (it wasn’t even square) and didn’t make me feel like a total idiot for going through all that trouble for a painting many would have just tossed in the trash. I can’t thank her enough for her hard work, encouragement and time spent on something that means so much to me. Her price was fair, work was done in a timely manner and she was a pleasure to work with. Wow! Just sooooo impressed! I’m so glad I researched for a local custom framer rather than just going to the big name frame shop, I got top notch customer service and felt great during the whole experience. Great pricing, quick service and a wide selection to choose from. I came here on somewhat of a time crunch, and the lady there was kind enough to accomodate me. She did an awesome job on my picture even though she was swamped, and had it framed and ready to go in two hours!
Since my work location is right down the street I’ll be back :)

The store has a wide assortment of frames with varying pricing and the owner has extensive knowledge of proper framing and matting. I will always bring my treasured piece here instead of Michaels. The work always comes out more superior and I receive tons OF compliments that eventually gives her more sales! All around very professional and recommend the store highly.

I absolutely needed to write a review after my experience. Mari was tasked with a very important project that required a short time line.
She was so helpful and attentive to what I needed and was able to help me. The store felt very cozy and comfortable. She made my project feel just as important to her as it did to me and did a beautiful job with framing a memorial picture for a funeral.
It was a great experience, Mari’s was very attentive and I felt very welcome in the shop. Also, while you’re there check out her photography skills… I love the Virgin Mary picture from San Francisco and very well may have to buy it one day!!!

A friend and I stopped in over the holidays to check out the annual La Virgen art exhibit, featuring local artists. We were glad that we visited the gallery — what a treat; it was a great show!
