Service: very friendly and attentive. Parking: street parking. Can be hard to find on the weekends. Will definitely come back again for more noodles!

Mo’s Special Rice Porridge: 9⁄10 –Good flavor and good size portion –White chicken meat is only ok to me– maybe it’s too dry, but that’s white meat for you. Chinese donut: 10⁄10 –Comes out fresh and crispy –Love to dip in the soup Atmosphere: great hole in the wall. Wait time: Never waited more than 10 – 15 minutes(or at all). Always busy on weekends. Service: Takes order fast and food comes out fast, just like phở restaurants Overall: Good authentic Cambodian noodle restaurant. My boyfriend(who is Cambodian) and his family has been coming here for YEARS. They usually get the House Special Noodles.

We regularly eat here when we are in the area. It’s cash only, but everything costs less than $ 10. Each person was able to fill up for $ 7. We got the house special, wet, with big noodles; and Thai iced tea. Soup was flavorful without being salty; was perfect for a cold winter day.

A cash only, home cooking kinda joint. The food is full of flavor and thus place does Cambodian food justice. It’s a small place, so plan ahead for larger parties. Neighborhood parking. Cambodian food and chill. Worth going if you’ve never been and good enough to return for more. Enjoy. For my non-exotic(caucasian) folks that aren’t familiar with Cambodian food, it’s different Thai, Vietnamese and Laos food. The flavor is hard to describe because it’s unique but your palette will appreciate even for first timers.

House/shack turned into a restaurant that serves authentic Cambodian food that will keep your belly warm and cure your hangovers! Located on the busy street of Cherry off of PCH, make sure you don’t miss it when driving by. Street parking can be difficult, but worth the frustration. Phnom Penh Noodles($ 6.00 medium!) with soup on the side and small rice noodles is my go to here. I love picking off the meat of the bones. If you want more broth, ask for the broth in! Drooling thinking about the sweet and savory broth now. Think: Cambodian style phở. If you like quail eggs and intestines, I recommend the Chluy bowl. Cha Quai(long bread $ 0.90) is a must to dip into the broth! Fried doughy goodness that comes in two. Also enjoy the«round bread» which is a sweeter sesame bread. The meat bread is also a great choice too! One order of each thing is enough to share between two people. **CASHONLY**(Also open on Christmas & New Years day!) Had a group of 7 people and only paid $ 70 with tax + tip

Impeccable service — even though they were busy, our waitress patiently explained everything on the menu which made ordering what we wanted easy. Subtle yet powerful flavors — all of the dishes had lots of flavor, yet none were overpowering or out of balance. Must order: house special dry soup noodles! In addition to be easy on the wallet, the place has a very cozy feel and offers free hot or cold tea. This mom & pop shop really excels at what they do. Highly recommended for being so well balanced on all fronts. I’d eat here anytime!

Cambodia town used to be my hood. Then I got a job and moved my ass towards the beach like a lil’ damn yuppie. They serve some bomb congee(rice porridge) here. I was feelin’ ill so I hit em up like«ayo, give me some fish congee.» I drove my sweet little 2000 civic there and was in and out under 5 minutes. This place was poppin’ at 11:00am on a Tuesday! Too bad they don’t got seafood congee, I tend to like a medley of marine creatures in my belly. For about 6 bucks, I inhaled a bowl of soupy porridge with chunks of fish, topped off with some bean sprouts, green onions. It was flavorful and HOT! Do bring a date here for breakfast if you want to appear cultured. Don’t embarrass yourself and bring cash! They close at 3pm.

Stopped by an ordered the stir-fried student noodles and the house special dry soup noodles. The noodles were tasty but the star of the meal was the bone soup broth. Meal for two including tax and tip for $ 20, including your choice of hot or ice tea. Thumbs up!

Came here yesterday for lunch around 1:15pm. Waited 5mins and got seated right away. The menu here is pretty simple.(See photo) Food: homemade style. I got the #1 with tear drop noodle in soup. It was served hot the way I like my soup. The soup is rich in flavor. Service: very friendly and attentive. Parking: street parking. Can be hard to find on the weekends. Will definitely come back again for more noodles!

Exterior: small and on a ghetto street of long beach. Not the best looking and parking was a bit hard. Interior: clean and small/medium size. Service: it was OK and nothing much to say about it. Food: on the other hand, while most aspect of the restaurant doesn’t leave much of an impression, the food does. The most popular phở here was pretty good and the taste was flavored well. The noodles aren’t the same as vietnamese phở noodles but it was really good. The broth was amazing and it’s unique on how they added a big piece of beef bone on it too. Overall, the food is definitely worth trying. Also, it’s the best to go early here because not only does it open early and close early, but it also have a small wait to get in because it’s so popular.

INAPPROPRIATEPICK-UPLINES&ORDERINGNOODLES Pen & pad in his hands, the server smugly asked my sweetie: «Wet or dry?» If these 3 words were uttered inside a nightclub, the boys would stand up and applaud because that’d be the douchiest yet ballsiest pick-up line ever. Here at Phnom Penh Noodle Restaurant, «wet» mean you want the noodles bathed in broth, while«dry» means the soup is in a separate bowl. My sweetie completed her order, unaware of my struggle to stay stoic. The server then turned to me: «Big or small?» No need to applaud those 3 words, ladies. That’s just how they ask if you want the egg noodles wide-flat or thin-round. I’ll admit I’m partial to the noodles served at Chiu Chow restaurants like Mien Nghia. «Kuy teav» noodles, which is what they serve here, were introduced to Cambodia by Chiu Chow migrants from China. I’ve always found the Cambodian variation delicious, albeit the broth a bit mild. That was easily fixed today by using the various sauces and condiments on the table. Food was solid. Service was Phnom-enal.

Crazy busy well before noon! Turnover is decently quick, service is excellent if austere, the bread sticks are very good. #1, Phnom Penh noodle, soup on the side means a bowl full of slightly clumpy noodles, seafood, beef, and organ meat, bean sprouts and lime on the side, and a bowl of thin but flavorful beef broth with a nice chunk of beef bone and knuckle in it. Mmmmmmmmmm…

The house special noodle left quite a remark in my belly that made my bowl empty at the end. Ordered the dry noodles with soup on the side. Inside décor is nice, not a lot of parking so gotta park on the streets or around donut shops next block ahead. And everytime we come theres no more of those long bread :( The beef bone marrow is tender and juicy, gotta have that on the side!

This place is small so it gets packed at certain times but has been always worth the wait and the workers are very friendly and helpful! The first time I came here with my friends the waitress was not very good at english and was having a hard time getting our order but then they gave us free iced coffee so we were pretty happy. The prices are also great like under $ 10 for a bowl. Hands down they have the best broth ever! I also like that they have a variety of noodle selections and they give you a reasonable amount so you always come out full and satisfied. Their iced coffee is better than other places as well! I used to go to CSULB but this place is worth the drive!

Maybe it’s because this is the first tine I’ve had Cambodian food, but I was very impressed. Personally I’m a person that really likes innards of animals.(Think intestine, blood, stomach, rtc.) If this is you too, I highly suggest you come here. If you want to see if this is your thing, I suggest you come here. For the price that they offer all this delicious food here, this is a very small risk to take to your lovely food tour of all things Cambodian.

Thanks to Rodney S for introducing me to this place! Um… like a year ago… I totally fell down on my review for this place, but better late than never! I’ve heard so many good things about it but it took a while to get my act together and actually visit. We met up for an early weekday lunch and luckily there was a table we could snag. Since it was my first time I went for their House Special Noodle(with soup in the bowl) and we split an order of their fried donut-like things. I loved my noodle soup(so flavorful and homemade-tasting with all kinds of interesting meaty bits) but was a little meh on the donut things – I could’ve skipped the fat & carbs. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient, and it turned out to be a very satisfying lunch, indeed. I will definitely be back for more. STEPHJUDGEMENT: Great authentic Cambodian eats at reasonable prices.

I love Cambodian noodles! They make me so happy! The dry noodles are by far the best! My bf took me here and I love love eating here! You get a separate bowl for pork broth soup and they are delicious! You have to wait most of the time since this place is bawling, but you will not go wrong with all dishes here! The breads are delicious as well, I don’t know what they’re called! Service is nice as well! Price is cheap! For the delicious phenom noodles, I would come here everyday if It wasn’t for work!
