Payless Tobacco

my neighbor recommended this place. i had been getting my cigarettes at 7 – 11 since they are only a short block and a half from home. for the past approximate year i have made the effort to go slightly further during their hours of operation. i had been getting 2 cartons of the really short marlboros (72’s) at 7 – 11 and at this store i get for the same price (give or take a dollar) 3 cartons of timeless time brand and they are 100’s. i had to slightly adjust to the brand but it was comparable to what i had been smoking. i’m sure they have the short marlboros also but i needed something cheaper since i retired and my income was half of what it previously was. they used to throw in a free lighter with every carton bought but this last time i only got one lighter when i bought 3 cartons and only after i mentioned it. but still that is ok since i have quite a few already from previous carton purchases. and even with no free lighter, i would still feel like i am getting a very reasonable price on my cigarettes.

Very cool place. Its has good selection and decent prices on everything. I walked away with an incense holder for only $ 2. But there was a lot of cool stuff going on in this store.

they charge a high fee to use your debit card, I can understand why they would on a small purchase but when I spend nearly $ 100 I should not need to pay nearly a $ 1 fee for using my debit card. be warned and bring cash only!!!

Small… but…they have what I need! Prices are fantastic! Staff extremely friendly. Place smells nice too! I will continue to come here for all tobacco needs!

I’m dropping a star because when I stopped in today to buy a butane can (for filling my clicker lighters for candles etc.) the counter person told me they have a 75 cents charge for using my Visa Check Card. WTF, the can was $ 3.24 so my total was $ 3.99 and I’m still miffed.
I always pay cash but are you that in the red that you have to gauge customers for the most ridulous fee for a Check Card transaction.

Came here to insure I was getting the correct product (I brought the clickers with me) and instead like sex with my ex I am pissed that I allowed it to happen.
Most likely will not be back, I’ll miss you Mary :-(
