Nothing exciting at this place. Food is decent– enough for hotel food I guess. I ordered the Rosemary chicken and it was dry and flavorless. service was acceptable. Paintings are outdated. It’s pretty much a upscale lounge, nothing luxurious.

The food was so delicious and the waiter, Alex, was super courteous and checked in on us often. Great view from the top of the hotel.

So I was asking my husband what we should rate the Panorama Grill, a 3 or a 4. We’re going with 4 stars because of Miguel and the 5 Star service he always provides! If truth be told all of the service staff at Panorama Grill deserve a 5! Awesome awesome staff! We go to Panorama Grill at least a couple of times a month. The food is consistently good, but not consistently great. Think elevated hotel coffee shop rather than fine dining and you’ll be much happier when you go! Ask Miguel for his recommendations. When he says the Prime Rib is good, it’s GREAT! If not, then not so much. The burgers are AMAZING! The Ahi tuna is great also but the portion size varies, so that’s a little odd. Their«Specials menu» cannot be beat! And the view is great! and besides Miguel it is the reason we go so often! Give it a try! Keep your expectations in line and you WILLNOT be disappointed! We love going there and we will be regulars for a long time to come(unless they move to the ground floor and take away our view)! See you guys soon!

After Yoga, I ordered Ahi grilled sandwich with those oh soo amazing onion rings… Sushi lovers, eat your hearts out! Topped it off with a cold glass of Coca Cola. The Christmas and New Year’s Menu looks great. Our Chamber Meetings were downstairs. I have many good memories here, and plan to make more.

In town overnight and not a lot of choices within walking distance. Happy to have stopped at the Panorama lounge during ½ price Happy Hour. Had the ceviche, very tasty and filling. House Margarita $ 7 was also good. Would recommend.

Took my fiancé out to dinner for his birthday. We both enjoyed the food here while over looking the city. The staff was great! I look forward to dining here again :)

Service was very good, as would be expected since I was the only diner. All were attentive and friendly. As far as the food, I ordered the seared tuna with garlic mashed potatoes with a champagne bacon cream sauce and steamed spinach. Spinach was highlight, then the potatoes and in last place… the entrée. It was not bad or spoiled or anything like that, but just served with a flavor less uninspired crust. Pretty sure it was frozen not fresh. OK experience but reminded why I avoid hotel restaurants.

Just have early dinner there. When we driving go other bar nearby, we feel something wrong with stomach. only 5~10 minutes after meal … we pay $ 70 for the meal and should be good meal not for stomach pain. ;(

Went last night to Happy Hour with friends and coworkers. Pretty cool spot. The only thing is that they don’t have a broad selection of vegetarian food. Other than that this is a place I would not mind going to again.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times during conferences at the hotel. At lunch time the specials are a good deal. They give you lots of food and the service is good. The view is stunning. They have a deal on that you can purchase several times. Dinner can be a bit pricey, but with the deal it’s not so bad. The food is good and they give you a lot of it. At night the view is even more beautiful. It’s a nice place to go for a date.

The service is pretty good. The restaurant has a wonderful view of long beach. The food is alright, nothing special. The price is cheaper compare to other steakhouse or grill house.

I bought a bottle of wine. Had to ask to get water and had to ask them to refill my glass. Ended up pouring my own bottle. I got the kings cut steak and chicken wings. They told me they didn’t have the steak I wanted after I waited long enough for them to deliver the wings. So a while after ordering I reorder a different steak. The Jack Daniels. The calamari was tough and the steak pretty tasteless. They ended up comping the steak without my request. I guess the half eaten food was obvious. I made sure to finish my bottle off and tipping the amount I would have spent on the steak but I won’t return for dinner nor give a good rating. The view is fine, the price isn’t bad, the house bottles are very low priced. In terms of quality and taste it is more like a refined lubys.

Been back 3 times and the dinner was pretty good since our past bad experience. Used coupon and sunset dinner and great prime rib. Will be back for more!

I have been to both the bar and the restaurant several times. I’m a local and this is where I like to go for a change of pace. First the bar. It’s a great place to people watch, as it is mostly out-of-towners. And, yes, it IS a Holiday Inn and NOT The Ritz, so manage your expectations accordingly. I like the view, even though some complain that it’s mostly the freeway and surrounding businesses. If you manage to get up here when there is a nice sunset, you won’t be disappointed. Happy Hour is terrific. Well drinks, beer, and wine $ 5 and appetizers are 50% off. Good variety and good quality. Staff was super friendly. The restaurant has a varied menu and decent prices. The last time we ate here was for Thanksgiving. We were looking for a restaurant that was serving their regular menu, as well as a turkey dinner. This place fit the bill. As it turned out, we all ordered off the regular menu and everything we ordered was very good. It was a beautiful sunset and the view was lovely. Best of all was the service. Our waiter/busboy were both outstanding. So go in with a «Why not?» frame of mind and you will be pleasantly surprised!

So, if you like people watching, you came to the right place! I’m not sure what you’re expecting with a Holiday Inn that hasn’t been upgraded probably since it was built in the 70s. It kinda smells, is awkwardly dark and has an odd vibe. With that being said, it is very affordable, the Unilocal coupon is honored no problem and the people are very nice. Make a trip here to say you’ve been, enjoy a quick drink and slip out.

I never got a refill on my water. Actually, I had to snag my mom’s water, since she was drinking coffee anyway. And we had no napkins. I saw one of the guys walking around, placing them at empty seats, so I flagged him down and asked for a couple. The steak and eggs were bad(and they were a whopping $ 17). The steak was tough, chewy, grisly, and smelled and tasted old. It didn’t come medium rare either and was more like a medium well. The potatoes were soft and unappetizing. They would have been much better if they had been at some stage of crispiness. The cinnamon French toast was delicious, and I rather enjoyed the California omelet. The latter was cooked well(the way I prefer) and had thick pieces of salty bacon, lots of oozing cheese, and avocado. If we had eaten just the omelet and French toast, this review might be a little higher. The view was also not as nice as I imagined. Although it was the morning, the glass was smudged and dirty. It was nice to try out, but we’ll probably go out for breakfast somewhere else next time.

potential to be much better i thought. The place seems nice enough, but it was a bit strange when the food came out as it seemed like it was shoved in the microwave before coming onto my place. I was by myself, stuck there for work on standby and i was here only for lunch, so i just ordered the adult grilled cheese. This was basically a piece of bread with a slice of american cheese semi melted on top, then they add a couple pieces of bacon. I’m not sure what i was expecting, but i think something slightly more appetizing than what i got. The food just seemed old. Maybe it just sat under the heat lamp slightly too long. People complain about the view from this place, but i thought it was cool. Sure we aren’t right next to the coast, but you have a view from the top of the building to see the entire city, which i really liked. also, as a pilot, i enjoy watching planes coming in to land, and you are able to see the Long Beach airport where airplanes are landing just across the freeway. Servers were okay. Nothing bad, nothing great. Just there. Did their job.

There’s no better way to lose my appetite than from the sweeping panoramic views of the majestic babbling brook that is the 405 at rush hour. I spend enough time on the road during the day; I’d rather not have it over as a dinner guest. Overall, this place was a complete miss, especially for the price. I started the meal with the meatball soup. It arrived as a bowl of rubbery meatwads bathing in a flavorless broth. A little seasoning could have gone a long way, chefs. Then came the main dish, a medium-rare peppercorn steak, which arrived without its peppercorns and was overcooked. The dish was also supposed to come with a baked potato but the mashed potatoes they substituted without asking was the best thing on the plate, so I’ll let that part slide. This place is trying so hard to be something it’s not. It’s is a pig in a party dress. The food is more akin of Outback Steakhouse but priced as a higher end restaurant.
