P & L Discount

Husband and I were cruising around Long Beach and decided to stop by this little cute corner shop because he was in the mood for a Diet Coke, figuring that the sign outside said it was a Discount Store and everything was 98¢ + we decided to pull up in front of the store and get some snacks for our picnic that we were going to have later on at the beach nearby.
We walked in and the cute owners nicely greeted us, as if we were at a restaurant and we were going to tip them. The store was filled with awesome knick knacks with products that ranged from toys, to toiletries, beauty products, cleaning supplies, etc… they even sold things like wigs, shavers, cologne and perfume! Especially with the discounted prices that everything was priced at, it was definitely a steal.
In addition they had a couple of coolers filled with a variety of soft drinks to quench your thirst on a hot/​cold day, and a freezer filled with ice cream bars that’ll definitely bring you back to your childhood memories like it did for me, reminded me of my childhood memory when I would ask my mom for 50¢ so I can go down the neighborhood liquor store to get a Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Bar.
We came here for drinks + chips, and ended up leaving the store with three shopping bags filled with Reynolds Wrap, Charmin Toilet Paper, Bounty Paper Towels, tupperware, lotion, and a bunch of other various items that only cost us a total of $ 10! Especially with the awesome service and generosity, we will definitely be back because we are often in the area — the lady at the register even gave us free candy for buying so many things.
The best part: they take credit/​debit cards, and they’re open 7 days a week!
