I’m a huge fan of their selection since it is so different from other clothing stores. I was in the store recenty and bought a really cute sweater. Two weeks later I receive a personalized card which said, «it was so nice to meet you!» with a coupon to shop online and one to shop in the store. I will be a loyal shopper from now on!

awesome as in 1. inspiring or displaying awe 2. slang: excellent or outstanding That’s right this is the most awesome store in Long Beach. What they have: An adorable selection of clothing throughout all the seasons –great dresses, cute rompers, basic tops, skirts, etc. –a nice collection of jewelry and handbags. Trendy and traditional items, at affordable prices. This store is one of the reasons I love going to Long Beach, after a day of soaking up some rays, or walking the boardwalk, I make it a point to check out what’s new. When I don’t have time to head out to L.B. I just check out their merchandise online. The customer service is sometimes a bit on the blah/lacking side. I guess it depends on their mood.

I am done shopping at Ooh La La due to a horrible customer service experience and the way I was treated. Been shopping there for years because as a Long Beach resident I like to support the small local businesses, but to be honest it is really not worth it. In the 8 years I have been shopping there, I’ve made 1 return. I went to return an item yesterday, and not only was the manager, Chelsea, rude, but she refused to accommodate me. Yes, they have a 7 day return policy, which I think is ridiculous, and I bought the item a month ago. Since I was over the 7 days, I couldn’t make an exchange, so now I am stuck with an item I cannot wear and I am at an economical loss. I called today, still upset and the owner called me back, who was equally rude. She didn’t take into account that I have been a loyal customer for 8 years and shop there at least once a month. When I told her I wouldn’t be returning there to shop, she didn’t seem to care. It’s sad how this business treats their customers, especially the loyal ones, who keep them open and running. Honestly, you’re better off shopping at corporate stores like Nordstrom or Express and not have to worry about being treated poorly or losing your money. I’m sad that I no longer have a quick local go to place for shopping, but I’m not going to give my hard earned money to a person like that. It’s all wonderful until you need to make a return, then you see what kind of a business they really are. I will say that Rose and Eye on the west end is much better and the owners are amazing!
