Number One Towing is also part of AAA services, so if you’re in Long Beach and you call AAA for help with your car most likely it will be one of the trucks from Number One Towing. Today, I needed help jump starting my car, and since I have the AAA Premier card I called for assistance. The dispatcher noted that the support truck would be at my residence within 30 minutes, but it was more like 15 minutes … score! The tech got my car started immediately, and after I shared with him that I was on my way to Sears auto to get a new battery, he informed me that he had AAA batteries in the truck that I could purchase. The price of the AAA battery was about $ 60 cheaper ($ 114 total including tax) than the Sears diehard, and installation was free. This saved me about 1+ hrs worth of time and from driving to and from Cerritos. In regard to the battery, typically Johnson Control will manufacture batteries for different brands, and I believe AAA uses them as well. Plus, the AAA battery comes with a 3-​year warranty (same as Sears) … so it’s a good deal.
