Wanted a peanut butter cupcake so badly so I stopped by. I have to say I was disappointed that my cupcake was placed in a white Baggie and as I picked it up I knew it was going to be a big mess and it was. Most of the frosting was on the bag, wish I would have seen the boxes they sell separately or someone could have told me. I’ve had this before and it was very good but this time if just didn’t have the same taste, could of just been me! Hmm!

They have the best cupcakes hands down. I have not had peanut butter frosting that can match theirs anywhere. The handmade burritos are to die for! Unfortunately they’re just too close to my house, which makes them very dangerous lol.

First let me say I am a HUGE Miss Priss fan. I cannot tell you how many people I have referred to this place. My favorite is the cookies and cream but I haven’t had one that I didn’t like and I have tried almost every flavor. At work I am known as the Cupcake Princess because I usually order 4 or 5 dozen for work. The last time I did the cupcakes were a little dry. I thought it was a one off thing but my I just received a dozen cupcakes for my birthday and was sadly disappointed. The cake was a little on the dry side again. I’m not sure if they changed their recipe but please go back to the old recipe. I love this place and I like supporting local businesses.

I don’t live around here and was going to a new boutique store called«pretty lil things» that’s about a minute away that has very cute items when I stumbled upon this cake shop. When I entered the employees greeted me and were very friendly and me and my husband decided to try their cupcakes. They were delicious and tasted fresh! Really cute place with a variety of cupcakes, when I’m up in long beach I’ll stop by again!

Tried 8 mini cupcakes with my daughter: peanut butter & jelly, vanilla cookies & cream, chocolate cookies& cream, chocolate mint, tuxedo, death by chocolate and dirt. Listed in order of preference, beat to worst. Forgot the name of the eighth one. 4stars for the PBJ and Vanilla C&C

Today was my second visit to this cupcakery and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m a big fan of peanut butter and I ordered their PB&J mini cupcake & the regular sized peanut butter and chocolate cupcake. Their cakes are very fluffy and moist and have a generous amount of frosting. The people working are always friendly, and the prices are affordable too! I look forward to coming back here. (I was too excited to eat my cupcakes that I forgot to take a picture. Next time I will!)

I LOVE their cupcakes! The toffee, vanilla cookie, key lime pie and the mango(on special) are my favorites. This last time i got a dozen of bittles(mini cupcakes) so i could try a bunch of different flavors. I have been here about 4 – 5 times now and i have NEVER ate anything from there i didn’t love. My next trip i want to try their sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and service is great. Try everything at least once!

I called extremely late looking to place an order long story short Karie delivered! She was nothing short of amazing ! Karie, you and your staff, ericka and Amber are living angels thank you so much. I’ve had my Unilocal account for almost a year and once I seen my birthday cake for my brunch party I knew I had to leave a review!

I love their cupcakes! My favorite are the peanut butter and chocolate. I gave them 4 stars solely for the taste of their cupcakes. I would’ve given 5 stars but it seems like the customer service is hit or miss.

We ordered our kiddo’s birthday cake with Miss Priss, and from start to finish, the process was seamless. It was dinosaur themed and I dropped of an invite so that the ladies had an idea as to what we wanted! The cake was done exactly like the invite example, and elevated by a 3D design that was created! Spectacular! I could not have imaged it more perfect. Ever had a cake that looks great, but tastes, less than? Not here! Moist chocolate cake, w a strawberry cream cheese filling. It was a hit! Would I come back for more? Yes! Next up is a 3 tiered Day of the Day cake. Do I think the gals at Miss Priss can pull it off? Yep, and confidently so! Highly recommended, no disappointments here!

These FLUFFY cupcakes are so HEAVENLY! It’s only our second visit but I’m such a little kid when I’m here. Literally, the lady who helped us today laughed at me?! with me?! because I couldn’t stop pointing at all the ones I wanted to try, which is ALLOFTHEM! Everyday they feature two new flavors and are displayed towards the center. My hubby and I had the pleasure of trying the MANGOMACADAMIA&& the TRESLECHES today. MM were light and even had macadamia nuts not just on top of the icing but also baked into the cupcakes! the Tres Leches had roasted coconut shavings on top and was so delicious! We also tried the MINT chocolate and DEATH by chocolate… NOMNOMNOM! The mint icing was not overwhelming at all. reminded us ouf the Olive Garden mint chocolate giveaways at the end of the meal, LOL. That’s a good thing. It had a great balance. The death by chocolate was the ultimate CHOCOLATELOVER cupcake! ITWASTODIEFOR, for sure!

I really wanted to like this place because their cake pops are really good… Unfortunately the service was very disappointing so I have to give it 2 stars. I called in to inquire about prices on several desserts for a dessert bar for my sister’s baby shower. I asked about tiered cakes, cake pops, chocolate dipped marshmallows, rice crispies, etc. The girl on the other end of the line, although pleasant, had no knowledge of anything. She told me that she would have to text her boss. I told her that was fine and I would stop by in an hour to order. I came to the shop which was a cute little bakery in long beach. I told her I had called in and asked if she got the prices. She said she didn’t know and would text her boss. I assumed that she would’ve already done that but I guess she didn’t think to do so… she texted her while I was there but since she was closing in 20 minutes, she told me her boss might not respond today and that she would inquire about it and follow up with me. I bought a cake pop just to try it.. it was actually really good. Perfect sweetness and very cute. I was really excited to order this for my sister’s shower. They sell them for $ 2.50 each. I asked if they had discounts if I order 3 to 4 dozens. She didn’t know and said she would ask her boss as well. It was very frustrating to work with someone that has no knowledge of any pricing. She didn’t know prices of cakes, marshmallow treats, and anything else that had to be ordered. Do they just make prices up as they go??? She told me that she was off for Thanksgiving holiday and she wouldn’t be back until Tuesday so she would let me know by then. I reminded her that my event was in 10 days so I wanted to order sooner. She said she would pass this on to someone else and they would call me this weekend. Nobody ever called. I planned to stop by on Monday but they were unfortunately closed. I called on Tuesday and the same girl picked up. She still didn’t know the prices! She said she would text the manager and get back to me. VERYFRUSTRATING! She texted be back an hour later saying that they couldn’t make the cake pops but could do the cake for $ 250. Ughhhh! I really wanted to give them my business… i was planning to order so many desserts but you cannot just pick and choose what you’ll let me order! Very upset because now I have to find another place to order the cake pops and other desserts on such short notice!

I think this cupcake place is very cute. Reminds me of an actual ginger bread house. Full of girly decorations inside and it really reassembled its name. I can tell their cupcakes are handled with love and the maker really cares. Every cupcakes are baked from scratch and that’s why it is very special and delicious. My favorite cupcake that they serve is the«dirt» cause whoever thought of a chocolate cupcake with gummy worm on the top is a genius. Really creative and it taste the opposite of dirt, which my friend is the bomb. PS: This is the first cupcake I bought for my girlfriend and we’ve been together for 6 years. Yeah must be the cupcake haha

I’ve been on a quest to find the best cupcakes around OC and LA and part of that quest took me here to Miss Priss. I’ve visited about 15 different cupcake-centric bakeries and Miss Priss definitely ranks top 3 among them(so far). Why? - Uniqueness: There are a bunch of unique cupcakes here. You can get a «dirt» cupcake with a gummy worm sticking out or peanut butter and jelly. You can also take the safe route by going for red velvet or cookies and cream. They all look distinct and playful. Taste: The cupcakes are good but some are definitely better than others. The peanut butter and jelly was my favorite. It provided the awesome contrast of sweet and neutral tones and the peanut butter was silky and bold at the same time. I thought the sponge in the cupcakes could be a little more moist. The orange lemon was my second favorite as it provided a little tart and tang into the mix which was quite refreshing. The one gripe I have was that most of the cupcakes were overpoweringly sweet which deter you from the actual flavors. Otherwise, very good! See picture: Variety: Most of the cupcake shoppes I went to lacked in this category but not Miss Priss. There are more than 16 different cupcakes to try and loads of minis. Definitely something for everyone here. Take a peek: I would definitely consider getting Miss Priss Cupcakes in the future as gifts or that once in a while splurge.

A girlfriend of mine was pregnant with her 1st kiddo and had some major morning sickness. Only thing she craved was Miss Priss’ cupcakes and actually cried because they had closed when her hubby got to the shop. You better believe he was there bright and early the next day for a dozen of those bad boys. AKA: MINI cupcakes. Don’t mess with a prego; especially one that has a sweet tooth. Because her taste buds were highly sensitive, I knew Miss Priss had something special to offer. I first tried MP4yrs ago when the cupcake CRAZE was buzzing and fell in love with them. It was my GO-TO for cupcakes. I was«over» cupcakes for a few years after that, but tried a couple new places now and then. MP remained the GOLDSTANDARD for cupcakes in OC(for me). Recently, I’ve been craving cupcakes(CC) and had to return to MP. To my surprise, they weren’t as amazing as I remembered them to be. Did they change or did I? GOOD stuff: 1) Lots of options for cupcake flavors/frosting 2) Cute and simple décor on every cupcake 3) Buttercream frosting were packed with flavor and not too heavy 4) CC were moist **Tuxedo: chocolate cake w/cream cheese frosting. My FAVE! **Red Velvet: Mild cocoa cake with cream cheese frosting. Their top seller! **Death by chocolate: chocolate cake w/chocolate cream cheese frosting. A bit too sweet, but kids liked them. **Cookies and Cream: chocolate cake w/a thick Oreo cookies & cream frosting. **Key Lime: white cake w/a hint of key lime w/a citrusy cream cheese frosting. BLAH stuff: 1) A few of the white CC tasted like they were made from a box. They lacked a homemade taste and leaned closer to artificial. Especially the orange cc. 2) I liked the frosting, BUT I’d only eat ½ of it. Too sweet if you wolf down all that buttercream! **Lemon: white cake w/a lemon infused cream cheese frosting. Good, but I’ve had better. **Orange(flavor of the day): orange cake(tasted artificial) w/orange infused cream cheese frosting. Not a fan. **Sweet Potato(flavor of the day): dense cake w/a spiced frosting; almost pumpkin like. **Vanilla w/vanilla cream cheese frosting Grand Total: $ 19 for a dozen mini cupcakes. $ 1.50 each and $ 2 each for their Flavor of the Day. Pricey? Yes! But, this seems to be the going rate everywhere, if not more expensive. SERVICE: Gal who took my order was friendly, informative and had a LOT of patience for fickle me. SWEET! Though my taste buds have become a little pickier and my love for cupcakes have lessened; when it comes to CC, MP still remains one of my top choices.
