Mariachi Romanza de Rodrigo Rodriguez. Duo, Trio, & More

Rodrigo and his bandmates are incredible! We had them perform at our wedding during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and it was really lovely… they brought the drama and emotion, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more! I’m sad we were running around so much during cocktail hour and couldn’t fully enjoy the music, but everyone loved it!

I have got marachi for many family gathering all my life. But these guys took it to another level .
I was worried that only 3 musicians
(And these are not any musicians they are too notch professionals) that were going to show up to my daughter bday party .
They had there own sound system which is not common with a typical mariachi .

AMAZING talent, They blow us away how gorgeous they sang … my family is very picky and demanding on asking request … They never let us down, they know everything !!!
Any song we requested they knew it ! And if they didn’t know it they sure played it off !!
I only requested them for two hours but I was so impressed with there performance we payed a extra hour and half more.
(I would off hired them for 3 extra hours just to hear them play but I was running low on cash and kinda drunk)
I can’t wait for a future excuse for a party so I can have them sing for our event !!
To put it in simple words
THEY Are the best !

We hired Mariachi Romanza for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour– 2 hours total. A few of our family members had seen there was only 3 musicians, we requested only 3, and cringed at the idea that anything decent could come out of them. However, they were proved wrong. Mariachi Romanza sounded wonderful, was professional, and were extremely talented. They looked the part and their attire was perfectly fitting for the event.
I didnt have too much interaction with them during the wedding, however all of our guests that did said they were above the standard. My prior interaction with them via email was always positive. They worked within our budget and answered emails promptly.
We were extremely satisfied with the experience they provided!

Mariachi Romanza Duo was amazing at our party. They were very prompt and quick to set up. As we had a Christmas Party and birthday going on, they sang Happy Birthday first and then did a continuous set of wonderful traditional, contemporary and holiday music. They really brought an excellent element to our party and I would highly recommend them!

Looking at their Unilocal page with the one bad review and the attempt to correct this through questionable positive reviews that Unilocal has filtered, they may seem seedy to someone at first glance. All I can say was that this was not our experience with them at all.
Their prices were reasonable, we also liked that we could pick and choose what size band and what instruments we wanted for the day. We ended up having two guitars, a violin, and a female singer (who also would sometimes have a guitar).
They played our July 5^th wedding in Westlake Village. We had them play at both the ceremony and for the cocktail hour. They were prompt with all communications, helped guide us through the process. They showed up on time, looked put together, kept guests entertained while waiting for the ceremony to begin as requested, and played ‘Here comes the bride’ on cue. For cocktail hour our guests had mostly praise for them, though a couple of guests said they did not know some of the songs she usually requested from mariachis. This is the only reason they were knocked down a star.
Aside from that, their customer service was excellent. We had some initial issues before the wedding and they were all ironed out professionally and with no ill-​will. Additionally, the night of the wedding, we accidentally underpaid them. They were very professional when we spoke with them the next day and were not spiteful at all. We apologized and quickly corrected the mistake. They were one of the vendors we did not have to worry about at all for the wedding which was a relief as we had enough to worry about already :).

I hired them for my wedding reception last month. They played just fine for about an hour. Then without consulting anyone, they made their way to our bar area and started taking advantage of our open bar. They didn’t just have one drink! They actually got quite buzzed! It was so unprofessional! Our guests were not happy and complained about their conduct to us. They wouldn’t even leave until the bartender actually cut them off. On an important day like your wedding, the last thing that you want to do is worry about a mariachi band crashing your beautiful party! The poor conduct of this mariachi band will always leave a bad taste in our mouths. We would NOT recommend this group to anyone unless you plan on establishing strict boundaries before you hire them.
